The Bundy Secrets by Kevin Sullivan is the 3rd and final book by this author on Ted Bundy. Where the first book was a good overall biography that tells about each of the murders, the second book covers stories by those who knew Bundy during his killing times...this third book is filled with actual pages from the case files. Information that Sullivan dug for and saved, spilling out details about Ted and his murders, much of it never before shared or seen. The next best thing to being able to poke through the files yourself, and all selected by the author, who knows the material best along with his comments, explanations, and any required backstory. An informative read that rounds out the whole experience.

But are we really done with Ted Bundy? Can we really stop wanting more information about the serial killer that's kept us so fascinated for so long? I think that there may be more to know out there, people who had encounters with him that they haven't shared for whatever reason. And may or may not ever do so.

I read over fifty percent of this book pretty much straight away, and then put it down, and now I find myself with no motivation to pick it back up. It's so heavy with information that it hurts my eyes and makes me dread opening my kindle app.

If you're super into the Bundy case then go for it because there's a lot of information the book includes that I didn't know but it's literally written like a case file and that was a major reason for me to dnf the book. It's too hard to focus on most of the time.

I haven't read the previous 2 books in this trilogy but I think I'll go ahead and read them. This 3rd book is chock full of interesting information and actual records from the Bundy case. If you want to read some of this case's records with some insight from this excellent author, this is the book for you.

This is Kevin Sullivan's third book in what he calls his trilogy of Ted Bundy tomes. Not so fast, Kev, as he published a fourth volume on America's most dynamic serial killer in 2019.
The book contains long segments of police reports, including surveillance of the then suspect by the police. The cat and mouse game is funny, with Bundy losing his pursuers on occasion.
Much of the material has been covered previously and the transcript of a confession by Ted two days before his encounter with Old Sparky is the highlight. His abduction
of Lynette Culver in Pocatello is told with a photographic detachment by the killer. Departing from his usual method, Bundy drowned the young girl at a Holiday Inn. I wonder if he stole any towels.
The Bundy Secrets is a quick and decent read.

This is the third in a trilogy about Ted Bundy by Author Kevin Sullivan. His other two books about Bundy were excellent reads as well. This book is different in that it features transcripts and other documentations/records that have not been published before. This is a very interesting book as I have not read this material in any of the other many Bundy books I have read. I highly recommend this excellent book to any true crime or Ted Bundy fan.

The actual case files, the actual nitty-gritty, with further thoughts by this now-expert on the case. No protection from the gory details, no euphemisms. Just information for an intelligent audience.

The book is third and final instalment in the Ted Bundy series by Kevin Sullivan.

Not my usual genre but there is so much publicly surrounding Bundy at the moment with the movie and Netflix series, and after watching the movie I was curious to find out more details about the man who is one of the worlds most famous serial killers.

Having abducted and killed 20 people, this book provides no protection from the gruesome details of how he carried out these vile acts.

The book is heavy with information, filled with interviews and photos of Bundy and his victims as well as copies of the case files.
It is perfect for true crime fans.

I found this informative yet gruesome, an entertaining read.

This was a quick read. The best way I can describe it is "disappointing, but full of interesting nuggets." I did learn more about some of the people who crossed paths with the killer -- Louise Cannon, Bryan Severson -- and details on some of Ted's crimes, but the book wasn't well organized, often clumsily written and poorly copyedited. A lot of it was word-for-word transcripts of police interviews, never a good thing to find in a book on Blathering Bundy. I found out more about how people saw the everyday Bundy, though, and what they thought of him before they knew what he was up to. Worth your time, if you can take all the spelling and usage errors.

A great way to end his work on Bundy

I gave this book 5 stars because the author gives you new and interesting information. I have read so much on Bundy that is getting a bit crazy but yet Sullivan was able to find things I did not know. I really enjoyed reading all the transcribed interviews. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in Bundy even if you think you have read it all.

This is the third book about Ted Bundy by this author, I read it as a stand alone book. This isn’t my usual type of read, but there has been so much publicity surrounding Bundy recently that I was curious. This book contains actual nitty-gritty from the case, with no protection from the gory details. It is full of information and perfect for fans of true crime.

Third book covering Ted Bundy. A little more detailed than this author's encyclopedia. Interesting if the listener has an interest in true crime especially Ted Bundy.


The narration was well done by Kevin Pierce. Voice works well in this genre.

This book is one of several written by the author on the subject. Each one is a collection of transcripts, reports, and interviews. They are factual and corrections are made where needs be. There is very little in the way of opinion and when opinion is given, it is stated as such. Interesting reading.

Sullivan does it again. Just when you think you’ve read all there is to read about Bundy, his research and writing tells new things we never knew before. Love all of his books. Tells the story as neutrally as possible which is often hard to find in true crime. As always, I recommend this author’s books to anyone interested in Bundy and true crime.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A fairly well written True Crime book. It wasn’t always very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish, but never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great True Crime movie, college criminology class PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series or even a documentary (True Crime; American Crime Story; Investigative Discovery). It seemed pretty jumbled together so I will only rate it at 3/5 stars.

Amazing work

I couldn't imagine anything new to write about Bundy. As the godfather of modern serial killers, every book seems to go over the same ground..not this one.

The interview transcripts, the raw data is discussed and included. I saw a new side off Ted.
