Adler wants a new life in a new town. He didn’t expect to find a new Daddy too.

With his pride shattered from a nasty breakup, Adler Jones vows to never settle for a vanilla relationship again. He moves to the small mountain town of Bartford, intending to keep life simple and avoid relationships for a while.

When Adler meets his neighbor, he realizes that won’t be so easy to do.

Orrick Matthews loves his life. He runs the family hardware store with his brother and spends his free time fixing up old houses. Would he like a man to share his life with? Sure, but what's the hurry? When he meets Adler for the first time, Orrick knows everything is about to change. He just doesn’t realize how much.

When Orrick discovers Adler is less "vanilla" than expected, they have to decide if Orrick can be the Daddy that little Addie needs.

Sure, I read this again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This was absolutely adorable!

Adler and his friends Tobias and John are littles, but they have yet to find their daddies. That doesn’t stop them from playing together. Even though they’re a bit reckless when they’re in their Addie, Toby, and Johnny little space.

Adler has just finished moving into his new place with the help of Tobias and John when a neighbor knocks on his door. And just in time because they heard a strange noise upstairs. They need someone to rescue them!

Orrick is happy someone bought the old fixer upper. He would love to help restore the house since he’s without a project at the moment. When he meets his new neighbor and his two friends, he is utterly charmed by them. Adler is absolutely adorable and Orrick is more than willing to ‘rescue’ these cute men from the ‘ghost’.

After Orrick determined it is a nest of squirrels, he overhears the three friends talking in the kitchen. Apparently Adler is a little and he’s looking for a daddy. Now Orrick needs to figure out what that means exactly so he can be the man Adler needs….

I really liked this. Addie, Toby and Johnny were the cutest littles ever. I especially loved how they tended to slip into little space when they were around each other.

And Orrick was such a sweet daddy to Addie. These guys were super cute together.

If I have one complaint it’s that this was only a 100 pages and therefor everything felt a bit rushed. I would have loved it if the author just took their time to tell this story. It was still a very cute story, but I think it could have even been better with a few more pages.

Oh, and I did hate the names Adler and Orrick. But since the rest was so cute, I just went with it. Luckily the other two couples for the next books have way better names.

Chloe aka C.W. Gray has written a number of m/m mpreg books and this is her first contemporary m/m romance. With this book she had me the minute I met the three littles, though Adler very quickly became my favorite! This story is 1oo% sweetness and light and was so much fun to read! I cannot wait till books 2 and 3 are available!!!!

This is a sweet little story. Adler (Addie) is adorable, as are his friends Tobias (Toby), and John (Jonny). Everything happens fast in this book. Adler and Orrick's relationship starts almost as soon they meet the first time.

Adler loves horses.
Tobias loves cats.
John is all about super heroes.

They're all (obviously) littles. I loved watching all three of them together.

This had me giggling a couple of times, one time in particular. Tobias and John are convinced they hear a ghost in Adler's new home. Orrick, who'd just arrived and had barely even introduced himself to Adler, was the hero and saved the day.

Then there are Beau, Orrick's brother, and Marcus, a good friend. Marcus is also (as Adler called him) the kink guru. That was cute. You'd have to read the story to understand why.

There's a little bit of drama with Adler's ex but it didn't drag out.

I ended this knowing the love interests for the next two books, which is good. I'm eager to read those as well.

I may write a full blog review after I've read them all.

A very entertaining read. The only reason the rating isn't a little higher is because of editing issues. Nothing major but kind of glaring.

Little things in life can make a big difference.

People are usually resistant to change for almost any reason. But sometimes a threat from an ex becomes too much. But some people loose their ability to judge right from wrong and do a lot of damage to emotions and physically hurting their victims while blaming others for making them be bad.

Three friends move to a small town nearby when one has to get away. They spend a lot of time together and all help move even though only one will live in the house during the week, but all will spend weekends there together. Friends runs deep, and some new friends are made as fixing up the old house is important.

But the anger of exes can make them crazy, and threats turn into action in spite of restraining orders. But small towns are closely knit and fiercely supportive once they accept you. But the conflicts do not always go as expected. Stuffed animals and real animals are fun to play with until someone has to follow the animals and clean up after them.

Great start!

Cute, adorable, sassy littles. This was a great start to this new series. Adler found his perfect Daddy Dom in Orrick, and I cannot wait to see what else unfolds in this new series. The story is super sweet, with lots of cute fur babies to boot! Keep them coming Ms. Gray!

This was really a sweet „little“ read (hahah sorry for my play of words💀). Even if only those few pages we somehow got a really well done story!

I loved both MCs, especially Orrik! He never had another to do with BDSM nor had he even thought about littles or him ending up as a daddy Dom. But Adler changed everything. As he discovered by accused that Adler was a little he didn’t backed off, in the opposite it really did something to him and he tried them to get as mich information about age-Play as possible. He put so much effort into learning how to be a good daddy for Adler and in the end he did an excellent job!

Adler was really sweet, a bit shy and sometimes a bit sassy. The switch between him being in his little space and in his adult mind, was well separated. So it didn’t came to confusions for Orrik and not for me while reading it. I also found it refreshing that Adler was that „little“, he was more a toddler when he was in his little space. So if you want to read an age-Play book but don’t like the more „heavy“ stuff like diaper play, this would be for you!

Another thing that I adored was, that we only had two smut scenes and they weren’t really that detailed and long. I am actually thankful for that here because, otherwise it wouldn’t have suited the story.

Only think I didn’t really liked was the drama about Adlers Ex, sometimes it was a bit too much for me and the constant upbringing, not really needed in this story.

I'm not a massive Daddy/Little fan (although I seem to be consuming a lot of them - thanks Amazon algorithm) but this was cute and I enjoyed it. I liked that Orrick had to learn what a Daddy was (although he's not called Daddy, he's Papa Bear or Mr. Orrick) and I really enjoyed Adler with his two little friends and how Orrick would wrangle them on weekends. I thought some reveals by the townspeople were a bit out there when the ex-boyfriend shows up, but on the whole I enjoyed this a great deal and look forward to Tobias's story.

Loved it

Well done in writing this new to you genre it was great I loved the three little together, and the new town of Bratford with the cast of characters that you introduced is going to be fun reading about. They are like all your other books under your own name (CW Gray) full of fun with low angst highly recommend these to anyone who wants to read about Daddies and their littles.

Apparently, I read a completely different book than everyone else who gave it a five stars ratings.

The book I read was almost ridiculous. The characters were even not two-dimensional. They behaved like after a lobotomy.

The plot was sadly primitive and the dialogues were artificial. At the moment the townspeople began to confess their sexual kinks in the pub, I gave up all hope that it would get any better.

Somewhere in the ninety percent of the book, I decided that enough is enough and stoped this torture.

Only one question still gnaws at me - what did the daddy-one have from this? From the beginning, he was the one who cared, who repaired the house (for free?), cooked, loved unconditionally, ... While the little one only whined, grumbled, and demanded. This is not a picture of a healthy and happy relationship, is it?

Orrick Matthews et Adler Jones (Addie, 31 ans)
Propriétaire d'une quincaillerie
Daddy et boy

Tobias et Jhon (littles Toby et Jhonny, meilleur ami d'Adler)

John soupira. « Harry a raison. On devrait d'abord travailler et jouer ensuite. »

« Harry l'a dit. Pizza, aire de jeux, puis bac à sable. »

« Merci. »

« Ça a été un long mois, n'est-ce pas ?

« Salut, mon chou. On va te laver. »

Ça me rend heureux. Et vous deux ? »
Tobias lécha sa fourchette et sourit. « Je suis rédacteur technique. »

Les yeux d'Adler brillaient de larmes. « C'est absolument, parfaitement parfait. »

Oh this one was cute! I usually don't read any of this kink but it was wildly refreshing. Orrick is a BABE; I want him! The atmosphere was super cute too, and the perfect mix of farm life, fixer-upper, and little town charm that makes me smile.

The good
+ Orrick doing everything he can to learn about Adler's kink
+ Adler being upfront about not wanting to enter a vanilla relationship again
+ Adler's supportive friends
+ Orrick's supportive brother and friend
+ Orrick making little mistakes as he discovers Daddy kink. Doms are not infallible
+ Good communication
+ Harry the dog being the stand-in Daddy for Addie and his friends
+ No spanking or other corporal punishments. I know that's a really common thing in Daddy kink, but I like how this couple didn't include that as part of their relationship

The neutral
o The 'deal' was that Adler would have Little time in the weekends, and only when needed during the week. However, throughout the book it felt like he was Addie almost constantly, with only short bouts of being Adler
o Orrick sort of inserted himself into Adler's life and invaded his privacy from the start. I know it's a sweet book and we have to suspend disbelief here, but shouldn't Orrick at least have warned his boy not to let strangers in and snoop around all willy-nilly? Adler was a perfectly responsible adult, but apparently only when there's no handsome strangers involved...

The bad
- Adler by the end of the book, but it was never mentioned what he was going to do next. It was left kind of unresolved
- The evil ex plot. The book would have worked just as well without the weird stalking. The confrontation scene was very awkward and didn't feel right
-

This story was really sweet and I'll be reading the others in the series too. I hope all the friends we saw in this book find their own partners. I would recommend this as a light and sweet read.

A cute quick read

What an adorable debut from Chloe Gray (Pen name of C.W. Gray, who writes some great Omega books). I love books about Littles, they are always so cute. Addie was no exception and we got to meet Toby and Johnny, too. We were also introduced to Orrick’s brother and best friend, Beau and Marcus. I can’t wait to read their stories.

Adler is a man looking for a fresh start after a bad break-up. He finds it in a house that’s a fixer upper in a new town outside of the city. That’s where he meets Orrick, an untapped Daddy Dom just waiting to be found. Once Adler and Orrick meet, it’s fireworks. I was so happy to see the relationship from the perspective of an inexperienced Daddy Dom. We usually get ones that are so confident that it seems like they have superpowers. Orrick was willing to learn and be what Addie needed. He even extended his newfound DD skills to Addie’s best friends, Toby and Johnny. It was refreshing to see an open and honest conversation between Adler and Orrick where Addie’s needs were addressed out in the open. No miscommunications and assumptions. These two men were lovely together and I’m so happy they found their happy ending.

All hail the Kink Guru, Marcus. I can’t wait for his story.

Next up is Beau and Tobias. I can’t wait to see how that progresses.

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-
Away-book like
‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd,
‘Save the kids' series from EM Leya,
‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or
'Liberty' from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey books and
Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few
times a year (most romances where you can
enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader,
maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-
reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but
it was ok). It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too
many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an
absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole
line, dismissed, repeat the class

New Series, New Pen name, same great writing

So, CW Gray has been a favorite of mine since I found the Blue Solace Crew. That led me to Hobson Hills etc.... So when I saw a new book under a new name I figured why not? Now I'm torn- I want the next installment from Charybdis Station, The next tale out of Hobson hills and the next Little story and I can't decide which I want more.

Adler, Tobian and John are littles- they role play as young children to release stress and help deal with the problems of life, but every little needs a Daddy Dom to give them limits and discipline.

When Adler buys a run down old Victorian in a small town to get away from an abusive ex he doesn't know what he's gotten into.

Orrick, Beau and Marcus have lived in Bratford their whole lives. Marcus, the king of Kink, has been exploring BDSM for years, but Orrick is a newbie to D/s. But the new cutie in the neighborhood makes him want to explore his Dom side and take care of his little boy.

I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

So sweet and just gives you warm fuzzies. I just finished reading a 400 page book that was 90% sex scenes so I was so over it and this book was a very refreshing read. Really the only thing that made it not 5 stars is I wanted a longer more complete story but you best believe I will be downloading the next book as soon as I finish typing this review. I loved the whole town setup and his friends, makes me wish I could have a found family like that

Edit: I saw there was a book 2 when i doenload the first book which was why I was so excited because the end of book one had an excerpt from "Tobias and Beau, book 2 in A Little Bit of Perfect – Coming Soon." But the book 2 blurb is completely diffirent and sounds like it takes place in Alders old city so I don't know if we'll even see the same loveable characters, I'm so disappointed, especially since it's been 2 years since book 1 came out and I can't find any word on book 2

Can't wait for more!!!!!!

Omg I can't wait for more from this series! This was PERFECT. It was short (sadly) but it was adorably sweet and my heart just exploded with these two getting together. This is an aspect of the Daddy/little dynamic that isn't displayed as often. Where little space is varied between individuals and it's completely separated from anything sexual. I REALLY liked that so very much.

Other things I loved:
*The town. Can I live there? Cause it seemed amazingly awesome and I want to live there
*Marcus. He seriously is the town's kink guru and that is AMAZEBALLS.
*Harry. It is hilarious and awesome that the dog is kind of a stand in authority figure to all 3 boys. So cute and I loved it so much.

I can't wait for more in this series. So very very very very VERY excited for more.

So sweet it gives you painful cavities

Not a story if realism is how you like your age play books. If you’re really into pages of text in the Little playing you may like this book.

If you like it when the Little is little around complete strangers, especially a new neighborhood in a new town, when the average little would be more cautious and have awareness of how others would normally react to his little side, and therefore be more cautious around strangers he’ll see every day, then this also might be for you.

As for me, this book was sickeningly sweet, unrealistic, and WAY too convenient for small town America. It was a hard no for me. But technically the grammar isn’t bad and I did finish it so it gets two stars.

This was a little silly and super cute.
I love that we follow them over a few month and not just days or weeks. Which I find is typical for age play books.
I really like all the characters we got introduced to and I very sad that so far there has been no book for either Tobias and John. I really want to see them getting their own HEA.
As for this story, I like it a lot. The pace of their love story is good and I adore that Orrick is not the perfect Daddy right away but he has to learn, since age play is absolutely new to him.
This book made me smile most of the time and I appreciate it therefor.
Overall this was a very good age play book and I hope really bad that at some point we will get the stories of Adlers two best friends as well.

"Adler closed his eyes and leaned his head against Orrick’s arm, smiling. “I remember being so worried when I moved here. I thought I might be making a huge mistake.” He looked up. “Then I met you. As long as you’re with me, Orrick, I’m going to be okay. We’ll make a beautiful life together.”

This book is like a warm hug on a cold winter night. My heart is so full, it's a short read with lots of emotion. If you don't like insta-love then it's best to skip because these two fall in love within a couple of months and it's absolutely perfect!! I can't wait to read the rest of the series and then read it again!! 💞
