What is it with people who think other’s are property and not people??
This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Ivy Morgan is a witch who lives in Michigan. She owns a small cottage and a plant nursery on the outskirts of town. She grew up in the cottage and bought it from her parents when they decided to move to a townhouse in town. Her brother owns a local Lumbermill and she is engaged to Mary Jack Harker a local police detective. We don and see what adventure Ivy and her crew can get into before her wedding happens. There’s always an adventure awaiting and see what Ivy and her friends can do to figure it out.
It is a few days before Jack and Ivy wedding. Ivy community service is near enough ending. She has been working at a women's shelter. Suddenly the alarm goes off and a young woman is found beaten and her daughter missing. Ivy encounters the father fleeing and confronts him. In this altercation, ivy uses magic and this worries her. She begins to question her new found abilities. She tries to get some answers. A threat is revealed to Ivy life and that of the mother and daughter who ivy saves. How will Jack and Ivy neutralize the danger and manage to get married. Time is ticking. Will they manage to get married or will something throw a spanner in the works. This book centred on their feelings for each other and how much they mean to each other. It was so mushy and romantic. Loved it.
This book was wonderful. I love Jack and Ivy they make life lighter somehow. So do not read this book if you haven't kept up with the love story of them because this is the one we have all been waiting for. As usual Brian's comments kept them grounded and made me laugh. Max and Amy might be getting the happily ever after they deserve. It was great! I do have 1 side note Luna seems to be getting more catty and self involved than she was originally when the story began and I'm not sure I like how her character has developed. She is reminding me of the soon to be mother in laws of all the other Lily/Amanda stories and isn't getting her reality check fast enough. But all in all a wonderful read!
Jack and Ivy finally are married, what a magical wedding this one turned out to be. Ivy getting married in her favorite spot in the world in the middle of the forest just brought tears to my eyes. I loved reading about the love they have for each other and in the end this wedding was a fairy tail coming true for the both of them making their forever a happy ending. Now we need to read about Max and Amy and JJ's life together and their happily ever after love story.
Thank you for another exciting story Lily Harper you are one of my favorite authors.
.. her community service at the women's shelter which has recently moved premises she saves Dana and Jenny from Oliver who has broken in.
A surge in her powers frightens Oliver but he's still determined to get his daughter, Jenny, back. When a second attempt also fails because of Ivy she realises that he must be getting inside information. But who would be revealing the inner plan of the building and be able to point him in the right direction? Disturbing evidence that he's been tracking Ivy since before the break in angers Jack.. it's two days to go before the wedding and this caseneeds to be solved..
Though Ivy is getting married this book is a great book to open people to domestic abuse. Though it don't tell how it can be it lets you know if you want out of an abusive relationship there are places to go. It's scary to think that the person who abused you could find you and try to hurt you even more,or that they could go after the people who are doing their best to keep you safe. In this book I was very sad and angry at the one part who was helping the abuser out. I was even more angry when I found out why.

Ivy and Jack's Wedding is just around the corner, she's still doing Community Service, but at the Women's Shelter. A woman and her daughter (Dana and Jenny) have recently arrived after fleeing her abusive husband and Jenny's father. Having moved to a different location, the Women's Shelter should be extra safe and hidden, but somehow Oliver, Dana's husband has found them. Ivy saves them by unleashing new magic onto Oliver and he's angry!
This was a good book that touches on things that may trigger some people, but it also informs people. It may be Ivy and Jack's wedding, but that doesn't stop idiots from trying to ruin other people's lives. I love that the author brought attention to domestic violence and makes more people aware of the problems. As always this ends on the happiest note with a wedding of two soul mates.
I have read 18 books in 19 days. That is how much I have loved this series. This was another winner. I highly recommend all HR books and all the different series. They are all great. I have read over 56 book's and loved everyone of them. I love her character's they make the great storylines a great read. I highly loved all her books. Diana Romano.
Jack and Ivy finally make it to their wedding in this book! They are just as sweet (and gross according to everyone else) in this book as ever. This book was so well written (what can I say Amanda M. Lee has a gift!) And I loved how she ended everything! Thank you for shining a light on domestic abuse Amanda!
It’s wedding time for Ivy and Jack but first, Ivy gets in the middle of a domestic violence ordeal and Jack it’s terrified of what she gets into of course! It was a great book with them working together, growing into their relationship and watching them gross out the others with their love!
An intriguing mystery, a bad guy that you'll never see coming, and a wedding! Ivy and Jack's wedding is here, but first they have to figure out how a disgruntled abusive husband keeps managing to break into a women's shelter. With only days to spare before they say I do, they need solve this one fast. An amazing story!
Enjoyed it a lot. Jack and Ivy were sweet and sappy. Max had some good moments and so did Ivy's dad. Her Aunt had a "bit part" with her boyfriend. I enjoyed seeing Max's girlfriend and son. Brian had some gems of wisdom and the mystery was good.
Violence, spousal and child abuse discussed. Nudity and sex vaguely mentioned. No language. Recommended series.
Ivy is finishing her community service at the women's shelter, when a husband breaks in to kidnap his daughter. Ivy stops him, and now he's on the hunt for her as well. Ivy, Jack and Brian only have a few days to find the husband and his accomplice, so they can get on with the wedding.
I love getting further into the lives of Ivy and Jack! This book took on a sensitive subject but by the end it showed the strength of the women to rid themselves of an abusive husband/boyfriend. I can’t wait for the next book and to read about Ivy and Jack’s honeymoon adventures!
Finally, the wedding is here. Ivy has to finish her community service and is doing it in a woman's shelter. Her powers as a witch are growing and new ones are displayed in this book. Ivy's mother, Luna, is becoming a pain and needs to be put in her place. Was fairly easy to figure out the accomplice in this one. Happy ending and continue to enjoy the storyline.
Ivy and Jack are ready for the wedding, but first they once again have to work together to catch an evil person (or persons?). Bonus is Ivy becomes even stronger in her powers.
Another great book in this series! The characters continue to grow and evolve as the books go. This one is full of mystery, drama, and romance. The snark is on point as always. I highly recommend this book and series! I can't wait for the next book!
I really like this book. Ivy and Jack are entering the next phase of their relationship and Ivy is exploring her growing powers. The plot and subplots move quickly, making it hard to put the book down. I can't wait for the next installment!
The wedding is finally here and it was a very enjoyable ride to get to this point. Jack and Ivy are a great couple and all of the other characters add a lot to the story. I would recommend this book but be sure to read the rest of series first.
Thank you so much Lily Harper Hart for giving us another adventure with a wicked wedding ending! Jack and Ivy has the perfect wedding with the perfect couple!
I’ve been reading this series from the beginning and I love how the characters have progressed. Ivy has never been stronger and I love her coming into her own with Jack along for the ride. Definitely waiting for the honeymoon
I have been patiently waiting for this wedding and I was not disappointed. Of course, Lily and Jack had a dangerous situation to deal with to protect those that need it most. The nuggets dropped for future storylines has me so excited for Max!
I’ve enjoyed this series. This was a wonderful book filled with extra romance but still the mystery and snark I’ve grown to expect from the series. I’ve become invested in the characters and their journey.
This was a very good story about magic and mystery, love and life. About learning how compromise is better than trying to force your opinion on another. Can't wait for the next book to be here.
Mystery and a wedding, what more could you ask for . I'm glad they finally got married and can't wait to read it next book about their honeymoon. I know it's going to be fun and full of mayhem.
I highly recommend this fantastic book and the series in which it is to all readers who love a great mystery that entertains as it highlights social problems, and the options we use to give them resolution. Enjoy!
Great story. Good mystery. I hope there are more for Ivy and Jack to come. Good story line. No one should ever be abused and forced to fear the person they live with. Surprise twists. Good read.
