Social Security: The Great Ponzi Scheme

Rate this book
This work exposes liars, cheats, and thieves and the government bureaucrats who tolerate them, crooks from both major political parties, both Chambers of Congress, as well as the failed policies of administrations, from both sides of the aisle. We Americans, all of us, are victims of massive double-dealing, bamboozlement, hocus-pocus, chicanery, and other misdeeds committed by elected officials and career bureaucrats in the name of a deceptive federal government program called Social Security. - Author What does the government and our elected representatives do with the money YOU pay into Social Security and is it legal, and above-board? The information presented in this work is both unpleasant and necessary to hear. It is unpleasant to hear because it details the pervasive wrongs that negatively impact the legitimate interests of every tax-paying, law-abiding citizen of this country. Information is power, if you wish to be informed and therefore be in a position to exert power upon the governmental agencies and entities and people that continue exercising essentially unfettered and improper control over YOUR money, then - Read this book! – Michael J. Hawley, Esquire. It is fair to say that Social Security was founded with good intentions but “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” Adequate and empirical evidence exists to document that our political leaders, from both sides of the aisle, have been lying to us and swindling us out of our own money since the inception of Social Security. When it comes to frauds, fakery, and slight-of-hand, none of the; grifters, con artists, and snake oil salesmen throughout history, not even “The Smoothest Con Man That Ever Lived,’ ‘Count’ Victor Lustig,” who once sold the Eiffel Tower to an unsuspecting scrap-metal dealer, has ever done it better or on a more grand scale than our own government. - Author SOCIAL SECURITY, The Great Ponzi Scheme exposes important truths that our government would prefer that the American taxpayer ignore. - Richard English, CPA In this book, Charlie Read and Don Smith, both with vast and diverse professional experience; Don as a Financial Advisor, and Charlie as a Financial Frauds Investigator, lay out the facts in a damning indictment of a political class that has, through its cowardice and irresponsibility, mortgaged our retirement for the benefit of short-term electoral gain - they also present common sense solutions to a problem that may very well break our nation. - If this book doesn’t raise your blood pressure, you’d better check for a pulse! - Lee I. Malco, Esquire It has been said “that it took an accountant to catch the gangster Al Capone!” The successful investigator, journalist, student, researcher, or analyst seeks to answer the who, what, when, where, how, and why. This book is like a wake-up call. It doesn’t tiptoe around the issues it hits hard and calls out the corruption and deception that’s been hiding in plain sight for decades. Whether you're politically active or just a concerned citizen, you’ll come away from this feeling shocked, frustrated, and way more informed.

The authors don’t just complain they present facts, history, and even potential solutions. It’s clear they’ve done their homework. At times, it’s uncomfortable to read, but that’s exactly why it’s important. If you’ve ever wondered where your Social Security money really goes… you need to read this.

Excellent, well-written picture of our Social Security system. While the findings will undoubtedly anger most readers, the author guides the reader toward a fair and workable resolution.
