Tabata’s still coming to grips with all the sweaty nights he can’t remember, but the onslaught of hot demi-human girls isn’t over! Faced with a cool, older dark elf , a high school wolf-gal , and a proud harpy wrestler , will Tabata fall to temptation? And he’d better watch out, because the Epiphany Maidens aren’t the only ladies eager to get their hands on what’s between his legs…
The attempted forced-breeding hijinks continue! Here's my review of the first volume if you'd like my thoughts on the series' core concept! On the chance that you don't feel like clicking to read my last review, TL;DR: if non-con or dub-con doesn't appeal to you as a trope in fictional media, then this series simply is not for you!
This volume of To Save the World, Can You Wake Up the Morning After with a Demi-Human? showcases three new Epiphany Maidens vying for Tabata's genes: a cool, deadpan older dark elf for fans of emotionless sex, a gyaru wolf-girl in heat for the furries, and a muscular harpy wrestler with a hidden caring side.
I find myself really enjoying the girls designs and characters, as well as the episodic nature where each girl/chapter explores a new kink. Otoi's art is eye-popping, and the morning-after drawings of the girls are sexy/cute as Hell.
The volume ends on a cliffhanger, teasing the upcoming reveal of the antagonists: the "Desecration Maidens."
There are seven silly bonus shorts to pad out the volume, which make up for the slightly smaller amount of chapters in this volume compared to the first.
★★★★☆ 4/5. Still fun, sexy, and silly! I'm really, really enjoying this series, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest!
