Rate this book
The year 1931. The Flying Pussyfoot incident is over, but it's still making waves. Where did it start? When Chané carved her message on the roof of the transcontinental express? When Graham's idol Ladd fell from the train? When immortals chose to climb aboard? Or was it due to Chané's unusual friendship with the delinquents? Whatever the case may be, Claire has taken Chané's message to heart and plans to scour the city until he finds her. What kinds of sparks will fly when these two meet?

Ryohgo Narita (成田 良悟, Narita Ryōgo) is a Japanese light novelist. He won the Gold Prize in the 9th Dengeki Novel Prize for Baccano!, which was made into a TV anime in 2007.[1] His series Durarara!! was also made into a TV anime, which began airing January 2010

There are two traits found in most of Narita's works:
* Narita writes extremely fast, one volume a month if he wishes - with tons of spelling errors and missing words as a tradeoff. The editors like to leave them sometimes just for fun, though.
* His work titles often have an exclamation mark at the end (i.e. Baccano!, Vamp!, Durarara!!, etc.).

Kanji names: 成田 良悟 & 成田良悟.

Set right after The Flying Pussyfoot incident, Claire Stanfield goes looking for Chané Laforet. He is clearly in love and is serious about marrying her. She doesn’t have a clue whether or not he was serious when he asked her to marry him. And now she’s having second thoughts.

Claire goes to Rachel from the information brokerage, to ask how he can find out whether Chané loves him or not. Chané lets herself get kidnapped, which kind of forces Claire to show whether or not he really loves her.

These two are pretty much idiots when it comes to love. That’s what makes them so perfect for each other.

This is basically the story of how Chané fell in love with Claire. This is just a little extra novel that is set immediately after the events of books two and three. It tries to fill in some gaps that didn’t really need to be filled. And it tries to include as many characters as possible. It’s a quick and fun little story, but it feels a bit like filler after the big revelation at the end of the previous book.

More like side story/ies to the Flying Pussyfoot books, except with characters introduced in all the other books.

My fav part hands down being Rachel and Claire's chat.

But rather confusing at times since the characters involved aren't always clearly named. And there's been an awful lot of new characters since the first books.

This was a very surprisenly good read. I say that, because having seen the Anime, I was familar with what was going to happen. Ryohgo Narita kept the story moving well and the huge cast of characters interesting.
One problem with the series, is that there are lots of moving parts. Lots of characters doing lots of stuff. Also, very few of the characters have the overall picture. It also doesn't help that the main story jumps, from various years. Still the Characters are fun to follow.

I decided to jump and read this one fist; afterall this is Graham arc in anime's ova. I don't like Graham and find his nonstop lectures boring, however I enjoy Claire's part; this is the part when he finally met Chane again after they parted on the train.

This series never fails to be amazing. I love the insight into Chane's thoughts and Huey and Victor have the best scenes.

Is it possible to fall madly in love with a fictional character? Yes. Hello Claire Stanfield/Vino/Rail Tracer/Felix Walken, I love you.
