A super-fun romantic comedy short story, set in the world of the bestselling The Kissing Booth - written exclusively for World Book Day 2020!
Everyone knows it's TOUGH having a long-distance relationship - especially when your boyfriend is as sizzlingly hot as Noah Flynn. Elle's thrilled her bad-boy-turned good has made it into Harvard, but being stuck back in California isn't much fun without him. So there's only one thing for it . . . a road trip to visit!
And what could be better than packing up your best buddy's convertible, heading out on Route 66, and looking for fun and adventure along the way? Maybe only the person waiting for you at the other end . . .

Such a cute little story about an amazing spring break and a beautiful come back to Elle's story. <3 :)
This road trip has gone by pretty quickly and I wished of course that it was way longer, but the good thing is that you kind of know what happens in the near future after it. The book takes place between the end of the 2nd book and the epilogue of the 2nd book. I could just read so much more just about Elle and Noah but also I would have loved to read a bit about Lee and Rachel.
Wouldn't it be amazing to see the story from Noah's POV?? That would be sooo amazing, cause he's still such a mystery and changed a lot throughout this short story and the 2nd book. Would be a dream come true right? ;D
It was an impulse buy from Amazon, but since I started the Kissing Booth series I wanted to read all the other stories too. And coincidentally I picked this up even tho it is supposed to be read as 2,5 which I did not checking before. I was not disappointed. Same old lovable characters on new adventures.
Spoko krótkie Co tu pisać. Za mało zwiedzania ale to zrozumiałe dlaczego. Ogólnie pomysł wycieczki jazdy parę godziny dni czy coś to interesujący temat do pisania hahaha
I don't want to rate this, because it's just a cute little filler story published for World Book Day. I think this could have made a great full length novel though, and I would have read it, but in this format it just didn't match up to The Kissing Booth books.
This novella was a very cute addition to the kissing booth series and I enjoyed it very much. I hope this comes out for the kindle app. Will definitely hold a permanent spot on my bookshelf.
I love the covers of the books in the series I find they look summery.
This book 2.5 was written exclusively for World Book Day 2020.
We all know how hard it is to live a long distance relationship, especially when Ella's boyfriend happens to be Noah and he's hot. But she is happy that this bad boy has become a good boy and that he has managed to get into Harvard. Except that she finds herself stuck in California and without him it's not the same as it used to be. There's only one thing to do, take a road trip in the car. What better to take the best friend's convertible and drive down Route 66 looking for adventure and fun.
A book read in one go, so much so that I hooked on the story, so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with characters that are as endearing as ever. I hope to one day release a complete box set of the series in books. I look forward to reading volumes 2 and 3.
I think this was translated? I think I would’ve bumped it up to a 4 if it actually made sense so I’ll give it a 3.5 but I’m honestly so confused and couldn’t tell you what happened.
BUT I’m not a fan of Amanda and I think the difference is because they became friends later in life whereas Elle and Lee were always friends you know? Like adult boy and girl relationships are weird and by adult I mean in your twenties so idk that’s just my two cents
Also remember when one of them was gay? Why didn’t we ever speak about that again

Ehhhh. I wasn’t really impressed. I have read most of the other The Kissing Booth novels and really loved them (as well as the movies), but this one just seemed like I was cringing every minute. Definitely too young adult and/or childish for me now. Elle is so self conscious and the book is basically about her insecurities and being way too territorial over Noah and Lee. I found it weird. Still love the movies!
It could have perfectly been part of the second book. I would have loved to see a bit more of the road trip, Lee and Elle having more experiences on the journey.

This book was a disappointing and boring addition to The Kissing Booth series, and I didn’t enjoy reading it. I didn’t like that it had no plot or conflict, just a series of random events and conversations that happened during the road trip. The plot was bland and unoriginal, and it felt like nothing important or meaningful happened. I also didn’t like that it had no character development or growth, just the same old personalities and dynamics that we’ve seen before. The book also had a lot of grammatical errors that made it hard to read and enjoy. It seemed like the author didn’t proofread or edit the book properly.
Another lovely little quick read this morning! I absolutely love “The Kissing Booth”. I most certainly should have read/watched the second before reading this one though! However, I really enjoyed going more into the world of Elle and Noah! They have the best relationship with each other and are still going even with circumstances still changing daily as they get older! Can’t wait to see if we can go further and get more books/films 🥰❤️ Thanks so much @authorbethreekles for a lovely book!
The Kissing Booth is a novel I really enjoyed reading and I got very stuck to it. I specially liked it because I was able to read it before watching the movie meaning I imagined myself the characters and then I compared them to the ones in the movie. It is based on teenagers growing up, living new experiences and having to face different consequences. At first, I read the book as an obligation to having to read numerous pages per day until I really wanted to read more everyday which is why I would recommend this fiction novel to teenagers and young adults since it might be for their interests. I would rate the book with 5 stars if it wasn't because it is very slow passed at the beginning, but overall, it is one of my favorites books.
This book is great for girls or boys who love a book that involves love and an adventure. It is great for around the ages of 12-14 as it does involve quite a bit of kissing. This book is about a girl and a boy who go on a road trip across America to see her boyfriend. In it they stop off at different states in America. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quick read.

I didn’t realise this was the book inspired by the film of the same name when I picked it up on World Book Day. Story line is basic, two best friends (boy and girl) go on an American Road trip to visit boy - friends brother and also girls romantic boyfriend at university. Briefly looks at the difficult natures of boy-girl friendships as the boyfriend also has a best girl friend who the girl is jealous of. It was okay!!
