I read an ARC of this book for an exchange of a honest review.
I’ve read a couple of Delaney’s books and she certainly doesn’t disappoint! I loved this book so much! Already I can’t wait for part 2. Grace is shown as a very kind but naive woman who comes into her own and Deacon is just super hot! I want some of him haha. Good job Delaney in delivering another great story. I’ll be keeping my eye out for the next part of this book.

I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher to review.
In Unraveled we meet Grace who is basically a modern day saint. She does however have a sick dad and a addicted sister. Grace is also a doctor who works with premature babies. In other words Grace has a lot going on and a lot of people depending on her. I can't even imagine the pressure. When she is offered the chance to go to South Africa for a week with Doctors Without Borders she jumps on the chance and meets Deacon. Deacon is a photojournalist who is documenting the mean streets of his home country of South Africa. He is a man who knows sorrow, the deep soul crushing sorrow and also anger and revenge. However now one of his men is behind enemy lines and he is trying to negotiate his release. This book will keep you one your toes, on the edge of your seat and wanting to submit yourself to Deacon. I really enjoyed this story.

This was quit good if a little depressing lol no worries, it has an HEA, but... man, talk about two people who have been through some sh*t. However, their story is meaningful and sweet. This is also a really quick read, perfect if you don’t want to commit to a book too hard core.

Delaney Foster is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. Her stories have this incredible balance of heartache and uplifting love. She brings a wide array of emotions into the plot, the characters lives and therefore into readers lives.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this story but once again Delaney knocks it out of the park. It's imaginative, profound, eye-opening, romantic and beautifully written. Her descriptive language is mesmerising so you feel everything, sense it all, sights, smell, sounds, the fear, longing, uncertainty, lust and romance.
This is just another sterling example of what a terrific writer Delaney Foster is.

I started reading this book not knowing anything about Deacon Bruce or the Drazens and that worked out just fine for me. Grace is a doctor how has been dealt a crappy hand in life. She's always taking care of others and never really seems to put herself first. She's given the opportunity to volunteer at a hospital away from her life, away from her worries, and she takes it. A chance meeting puts her in front of Deacon Bruce. It's clear they have chemistry but things keep getting in the way. I liked the slow build to their relationship and how that made both their feelings for each other stronger and undeniable. The beginning of the book was a little slow for me and took me a little while to get into it, but I've read Delaney Foster before and I knew she would not disappoint!

This was my first read by Ms. Foster and just wow!!! Talk about a page turner. There was so much going on that I couldn’t put this book down. Some suspense about Deacon’s job to feeling Grace’s pain in the situations in her life. But together these two are a force to be reckoned with. They can be themselves with each other. They can be who they are. And that, that is the best part about these two!

Very complex and deep. “I got issues, You got them too”. Yup that sums it up so well. The electricity between them is very hot. Wish we had a tad more details at times. Very good read

Secrets and darkness mould with sweet and nurturing! Couldn't put it down.
Callan is to die for and Grace is beautiful but slight broken and she really forms into something stunning throughout the story.

4 Cranky Stars
Grace has a need to help everyone she encounters which lead to her career as a doctor but more personal issues led her to the field of being a neo natal doctor. She spends her days caring for helpless little babies to coming home taking care of her ailing father and her drug addicted sister. She is presented with an opportunity to volunteer at a hospital in South Africa for the poor. It’s a war-ravaged country and she never expected to find herself in danger or in the lens of Deacon.
Deacon knows sorrow and grief and he also knows extreme anger and exacting his revenge. He is a photojournalist documenting the mean streets of his home country of South Africa. One of his men is now behind enemy lines and he’s trying to negotiate the release of him so the last thing he needs is Grace. Let’s just say Deacon has certain tastes and predilections.
I went into this book totally blind. I glanced at the synopsis and thought this sounds pretty good. I wasn’t expecting a book that dealt with such a sensitive topic and toed the line with submission. Unraveled had some steamy moments but they didn’t overpower the story. It’s a lot of story packed into a short book but Delaney Foster did it with ease.

A little dark, a little exciting, a little heartbreaking and a whole lot of heat will lure you in and not release you until you read the last word. This story is well written and will hold your attention through all of the drama and have you fanning yourself through all of the between the sheets action.
Grace and Callen's story will bring you from his lost life in Miami, her busy and burdened life in the same city to the two of them meeting up in South Africa where she has gone to work in a hospital (she's a doctor), and he as a mercenary. When their eyes meet, the attraction is instant.
Grace is smart, strong and beautiful. After losing her mother, she is now taking care of her ailing father, and her nephew whenever her sister is "unavailable". Her life is about work, family and work. Time for herself is non-existent and the opportunity to travel to work in a hospital and doing work where the help is much needed and appreciated.
Callen has suffered such a traumatic loss and such pain seeing what his mother and sister went through that his need for vengeance, for retribution has him leaving everything behind and doing work for the government that they will deny they sanctioned should he and his team run into trouble. Then he see's the light to his dark and although he knows that he should never become involved with her, he just can't help the pull that her light has him under.
A wonderful read with characters that are well written and complex. I loved this story and I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Every book of Delaney’s that I read i fall more and more in love with her writing style. In The Secrets You Keep she takes you on a journey of believing as you can’t help but want to be apart of the world she creates.
I absolutely fell in love with Grace and her strength. The book grabbed me from page one and held my attention till the end.

Intense and highly emotional story in many ways, the pain of loss, the worry of coming loss and the worry of another who is out of control. Trying to stay strong and always in control just because some has to be is exhausting and needing some time before she breaks as well Grace takes a week out. It changes her life. This story had me in tears but also gave me hope that Callan would be the one to help her, and support her her when she needs it the most. There are some scary moments as well, I know I wouldn't be brave enough to be in a country with as many issues as this one, fiction or not I do know there is a lot of this for real. This book pulled me in and kept me hostage from start to finish, this is a fairly new to me author but one I am loving, she gives me a bit of everything I want in my books including some hot sexual content, some excitement and suspense and a whole lot of turmoil and emotional ups and downs. This story is also a stand alone so is great for anyone who doesn't like getting stuck into a series, at least for a first book. I am happy to reccomend this author and will definitely be reading more.

For everything that is happening. She is such a Strong woman who is the one who takes care
Of everyone in her family plus works to save young lives, She goes to South Africa in the midst of all the chaos happening around her. While she is there she meets Callan DeMarco Who is Hot and Sexy added with a tad mysterious. He has Secrets that he yet has to share with Grace and some that just can’t be spoken.
He makes her feel protected the short time they’ve known each other. The chemistry between the two is explosive. They both have helped each other find something that was missing in their lives. This book will bring you a roller coaster of emotions. I recommend this book and suggest you take a day off and have snacks next to you so you won’t have to put the book down for any reason. Brand new author to me and I LOVED this book! This book made me feel so many emotions, happy, sad, heartbreak and the list goes on. I loved these characters. I felt drawn to them from the beginning. I felt like I could relate to Grace and the heartache and pain she went through with her parents. She overcame that and became so much to so many people. She was offered an opportunity to make a difference and it changed her life more than she ever knew it would! She has such a kind heart and is truly an amazing person. I feel that a lot of people will love this book!!! Callan...loved reading about his story as well. He has a very strong personality. One that I truly just loved! He’s been through a lot in his life as well. The world has a way of making these two characters cross paths. What a small world they live in too. These two brought the best out of each other. I really enjoyed reading this story. Make sure you grab your copy today!!!

In the dictionary, under definition of “strong woman” it should say Grace. She has a highly stressful career and a personal life with not one stress factor, but 3. Some may be critical in thinking her selfish for taking some time for herself, but the truth is, you must take care of yourself before you can help others and what a game changer it became for Grace!

The Secrets You Keep was riveting! I wanted to keep turning the pages and leveling my breathing. Callan is the perfect, dark and secretive but seductive man. Grace is his equal when it comes to love. Their chemistry is fire. I loved how much Grace helped every person that walked before her no matter what they’ve done to her in the past or present. She’s forgiving and Callan’s the touch that she needs to survive. Together the team they make is unbreakable. Even his secrets couldn’t keep her away. Great story, and so well written. I.want.more.

I wasn’t t sure what I’d get with this book, but it definitely wasn’t a broken and battered heart!
I told my husband after chapter one, if this chick loses her Dad, Mum as well as herself I am going to reach in here and belt this author!
The pain was too real
The loss was too great
The love was too beautiful
The story IS too stunning.
Sometimes the secrets we keep will determine where we need to go.
That in itself, can lead to redemption and acceptance... AND LOVE.
The all encompassing, world tilting, body shattering sexy kind that we all need to feel, even just once.

A Very Satisfying Romance!!
I absolutely loved this stand alone! Usually it's hard for me to read stand alone because I get so swept up in the characters I want more!! I of course would love more books for this one, but the ending was so perfect that I'm happy with it being a stand alone. It ends off in a satisfying way to the reader and the characters in this story! I loved the heat and the amazing writing in this! If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would give it 500!! Also, I think this needs to be a movie!!

This was my first book by this author. I loved the intrigue of the characters, as you knew a little about them, but also learned a bit more as they each learned a little more about each other. There were some laughs, intense moments, heartache, and the chemistry was felt between Grace and Callan. Grace has such a kind, giving heart and Callan is rough, with a 'soft' side for those he cares about. They balance each other perfectly. It was a great story, and I wasn't ready for it to end.

The secrets you keep is my first experience by Delaney Foster and wow inspired and kept on your toes by these characters for sure.
Grace and Callans journey is definitely a ride you dont want to end or get off of with it being such an intense and especially emotional storyline but you cant help turning each of them pages.
An absolute brilliant first read and standalone book which has given me a taste which wants me reading more. I cant wait.

This was a great story that keeps you turning pages. Grace is a beautiful doctor that decides she will travel to South Africa to help in a hospital there. She meet Deacon and these two have fantastic chemistry with some hot times together. I can't wait to read the next part to this story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Delaney Foster has written a great story with Deacon and Grace. The build up was long and drawn out but in a delicious was. With the slow build up Delaney allowed the reader to really become a part of the story I loved the chemistry between the characters and I enjoyed while there was some heat in the story it was not the focal point of the story.

Grace is a nurse, she’s strong, and has so much pressure on her shoulders. She decides to get away for a week and work in a hospital in Africa. While there she meets Callen. I loved the interactions between Callen and Grace. Their chemistry was amazing and they were perfect together. A riveting read and one I highly recommend.
