Things always got better, and I was on the cusp of catastrophic change. If I’d only known how catastrophic that change would be… Struggling wasn’t what I imagined for myself, but at least it was comfortable. Until the past came back to haunt me. They say things never happen the same way twice. They also say history repeats itself, and this time, I’m the one under the heel.
This is the second book in this mafia series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Riki and Peter’s story is fast paced with plenty of drama and suspense. The chemistry is steamy with plenty of twists and turns. I liked it.
Peter is the second book in the A Mafia Romance series by Jacob Allen. It is the story of Peter and Riki. I quite enjoyed this book as the characters have an interesting and very hot relationship, even if it is bumpy at the beginning. The story-line is dark and somewhat intense, has action, romance and also some funny parts all wrapped into an entertaining book.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
The author has given us a heart pounding story. With the Kruschev family involved, you know that the things they do to their enemies are vicious. This is a dark story.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
