Events unfold at a much faster pace ever since Yoh's sudden decision to revive a friend at the cost of his own entry in the Shaman Fight. We all know such a thing is ridiculous and wouldn't last long anyways. Horohoro finally gets the chance to grow up here too, trying to catch up to all the progress everyone else has gotten these past days.

Yours truly,

With Yoh now out of the Shaman Fight, Ren has been brought back to life, and it's a fascinating look at the character and how he's changed since meeting Yoh. The volume then transitions to Horohoro, grappling with how far behind he is while his friends develop their powers even further, leading him into a battle with Hao's minions. It's clear the book is stepping up the presence of these antagonists in an effort to highlight their importance, and the use of the football guy and the LEGO guy are interesting looks at how varied these shamans can be, even if they're rather gimmicky.

Lady Jeanne can and will heal Ren, but the X-Laws could very well end his life as soon as it returns, all while Horohoro find himself fighting alongside the icemen to defeat the servants of Hao! Takei is sure to have readers gasping with every chapter in this entry to the "Shaman King" series. Ren may have to fight for his life against the very people healing him!

It's a really weird point. But nowadays, not so bad
At the time of publication I was "WTF? Epilogue? It's over? What a waste"
Now, that I know, that this is kinda the halfway point, it's an interesting decision by Takei.
It's nice, great char development all around
Kinda sad Ryu has his ass kicked again...

Horohoro

I’m always happy to see Horohoro fight and get some character development but I’m so tired of seeing the same villains who keep losing show up.. like give us other Hao minions

Yoh Asakura not only sees dead people, he talks and fights with them, too. That’s because Yoh is a shaman, a traditional holy man able to interact with the spirit world. Yoh is now a competitor in the “Shaman Fight”, a tournament held every 500 years to decide who will become the Shaman King and shape humanity’s future. But when Ren is mortally wounded, Yoh is forced to drop out of the Shaman Fight so that Lady Jeanne will save Ren’s life. Worried about how Anna will react to the news, Yoh tells Amidamaru how he and Anna first met and why he swore to become the Shaman King. Meanwhile, Marco, unhappy with the idea of his mistress saving the life of a killer, plots to destroy Ren as soon as he is revived.

Ever since Amazon linked up with comiXology, so that readers could get comics, graphic novels and manga on their kindles, I have been meaning to check out what they had. Under Amazon Prime Reading you get a number of titles for free and this comiXology original is one such series.

The epic saga continues with Ren in the midst of his revival by Lady Jeanne. His spirit is between realms but Ren doesn't want to return as he wants Yoh to remain in the Shaman Fight. Meanwhile, Hao's minions are hunting for souls for Hao to absorb and have their eyes on the Ice Men who have been eliminated from the Shaman Fight.

Easy to read and engaging, I enjoyed this and it felt just like reading a paperback manga, even on Kindle, as you have to click through the book backwards. A nice little touch. Down to 3 stars here as the 'Lego' oversoul character was a little naff, even by my tastes.

I was kind of tired when I read this, so it felt a little sluggish. Not sure if it was me or the manga itself.

Anyway, the LEGO guy is an interesting design. A bit better than the football guy, but both don't really feel like proper "mid-bosses" as they should be, as servants to Hao.

We have "Reiyoku" introduced, as a Spirit's power level. Fights are still based on numbers, but it's messier now. Horohoro borrows some spirits, whose total power (including Kororo) exceeds that of the LEGO guy's spirit. But the LEGO guy himself has like 160000 Furyoku level, something like that, while Horohoro only has 2000. But this doesn't matter because Horohoro can switch spirits on the fly. But he's not using them all at once, so they shouldn't really overpower LEGO guy's spirit. But they do? I don't know, I guess it's not bad.

Also, we've basically gotten to the point where characters are seeking Dragon Ball "Zenkai" boosts, as Furyoku increases when you return from a point of near death. Might be interesting to see what comes of this, as Dragon Ball kinda dropped that plot-point after the Super Saiyan transformation was officially introduced. I don't think anyone will become Super Saiyan here (I hope not), but I guess Oversouls will keep getting bigger for the power-creep. Looking forward to it.

Horohoro gets a spotlight in this volume, and I loved the action sequence scenes. I think that this volume is a nice change of pace after the flashback sequences but I will also say that the cast has grown, and each needs some spotlight time and this volume helps address it in my mind. I feel the aspect of mana shines through in this with showing the use as well as quantity playing different roles in how shamans can use the power. This volume reads quickly, (the book is not shorter than others, but it just flows with a good pace) and is very interesting. Hiroyuki Takei delivers another interesting and engaging volume.

The Epilogue continues in the 2nd one, and it was nice with wonderful art, and I enjoyed it so let's go on and Keep on Reading.

I have always loved comics, and I can and I have. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.

So Mana doesn’t mean that much in this volume. Horohoro being able to use 4 spirit allies at the same time was cool but broke the rules. It looks like we’re getting away from the actual Shaman Fight and just having people attacking each other, 100 chapters left so let’s see how they head into the end game.

This volume started out with some good comedy to counteract the darker themes in the last few previous issues. Its nice to give Horohoro some focus but this feels like filler to stretch out the main plot.

Este volúmen estuvo lleno de misterio, sentí que es una pequeña introducción algo grande que sucederá en los siguientes volúmenes.
Ansiosa por el N° 22 🤗

Lady Jeanne is going to Ren. While the ceremony is happening one of Ren's team members, Horohoro, run into a suicidal battle to help his friends the ice men.

This book reminded me of a show called Bleech because in this book the charters have these powers all depending on how much mana they have along with spirit energy. In the show when the charters go into battle they have spirit energy and the more you have the stronger you are.

This book wasn't all that great, but this book comes in volumes so maybe that'd why. I would give this book 2 stars because it wasn't that interesting. I would recommend this book to people who like to read comics but if you do read this book then I would read it from the beginning.

Guess I was wrong a bit. It does go somewhere a bit even though Yoh's out from what I've read of back covers. Just have to see even though I still know the end's still a dissapointment.

Битката на Хорохоро беше много добра! Въпреки, че в по-голямата част от времето си пада малко идиот, и той има своите моменти на слава :)
