Owl forecasts a day with no rain or wind, so Pooh arranges a picnic with Piglet and Eeyore. When Owl proves a piss poor prognosticator, Pooh's picnic becomes a challenge in maintaining a positive attitude when things don't go your way. When life gives you wind, Pollyanna Pooh proposes, make kites.

Owl promises that there will be no rain, and then their picnic is rained out! The friends stay the course and enjoys themselves anyway.

This book inspired me to have a picnic and also make some huts with anything I have, it was very creative that Winnie the Pooh made a house with just a picnic blanket.

These books are fun, quick reads. (About seven minutes aloud.) They always end with a good message, and the pacing is fast enough that parents won't get (too) bored. Add in pretty pictures, and this is a good bedtime pick.
