Attorney Bill Harvey is fighting to save his career.
If these two worlds collide, lives will be changed forever.
Kevin Wu knows his way around a courtroom. He’s seen a lot of them. The Chinese-American businessman is suing Bill Harvey for negligence, and he’s almost built the perfect case.
Desperate to save his career, Harvey dives into a world of drug-dealers, thugs, and hit-men, searching for the one piece of evidence that will clear his name.
For the last five years, the young girl has been living in the basement. At just twelve years old, she remembers little about her family, or her past life. She barely remembers her own name. Trapped underground, she longs for a taste of freedom.
When she finally breaks free, her secrets will surprise everyone…
This thrilling legal novel will take you for a ride through the courtroom, and end with a twist that you didn’t see coming.
A compelling read As was the case in the previous book, it's not at all a courtroom drama but it's certainly a very respectable thriller. The twists and turns are endless. I particularly enjoyed the cryptic sub-plot the book begins with. Not until close to the end is this plot revealed, be it a little bitter-sweet. The overall plot is good, although I felt somewhat implausible. Nevertheless, the tension had me flicking through the pages to find the answers. Harvey, the hero attorney, is a bit annoying; perhaps too perfect. I've come to the conclusion that his family exist out of necessity to further the plot, although to me, they're not required. Their purpose simply seems to be to join the dots, connections that have the feel of being too neat and coincidental. With only one book left in the series, Harvey hasn't much time to make his move on Kate if there's going to be any romance.
this’s a good one ☝️ enjoyable read, recommend reading it
I did enjoy this book. I love author storylines, they’re different. It’s not all about being in the courtroom arguing a case. Harvey is a rogue lawyer, an action lawyer, a hands on lawyer who gets the job done by any means necessary. I was really confused with the girl. I couldn’t pinpoint who she was really was or the man who was caring for her. I was leaning more towards Wu because of the grandmother memories. I guess the caregiver when he asked Harvey for a favorite. I felt he was giving Harvey hints about something he wanted Harvey to find. I’m happy the siblings are making a connection as a family. I like Jack character. He and Harvey are both great characters and hilarious.
Quite an interesting crime novel. This is the third novel of this author that I have read. I wanted to mentioned earlier but let it be. The book would benefit from a thorough editing... there are a number of English language errors including mixing of tenses in the same sentence, spelling errors, incorrect names being referred to, etc.
Omg. This was an excellent book. I could not put this book down. I had to keep reading just to know what would happen. I highly recommend this book and this series.
Very happy to have read A Time for Justice. The story has twists and turn that you wouldn’t expect which makes the story a thriller. I would like a little romance between Bill and Kate!
Reading this series of books back to back. Enjoying the way they have been crafted. No silly plot twists, minimal blood n gore. A steady paced plot driven work with a suurprising twist at the end. Ten out of ten
Good read; these two need to confess their feelings toward each other. Seriously, this needs to happen. Love the main character and his sidekick investigator. There are some very tense moments and funny moments too. Highly recommend.
Out of all the 4 books, this one was the least appealing. It was a story about a man who was the last client of Bill Harvey’s when he was a hypnotherapist. He was suing BILL for 100,000,000. Not really logical.
An okay book, I enjoyed it but it was confusing at times especially towards the ending of the book. However I will read Peter O'Mahoney again and again as he is a terrific writer and his books are usually a very good read.
and you'll get through this book in no time. I go into Peter O'Mahoney books thinking I know "who done it" after just a few chapters, but I'm wrong. Read this one and see if you can get it right. Even if you don't, you'll enjoy the read.
There were parts that got really confusing. I like many of his books. The Tex Hunter series to me were better than the Bill Harvey ones have been but they’re still good enough to get through and not put down.
This series is great!! I love Bill Harvey. He’s a very strong character. There’s great suspense and action with some twists and turns!! I can’t put them down.
