Okay, well, that’s fine: everything’s fine. Just turns out my ex-sorta-boyfriend is a crazy shadow creature stalker and has some sort of murder boner for me and my five new...boyfriends? Soul mates isn’t something you just slip into casual conversation, but murder boner totally is.

Other people have these problems too, right?

The good news is we’re all still alive. The bad news is, if they keep pushing my buttons, that might change soon. In the meantime, we’re making a sizzle reel of training montages and getting ripped as heck! Plus, we even hired some help at The Tea Kettle and Cauldron, so business is booming.

Like I said, everything’s fine. For now.

This is a medium burn paranormal reverse harem romance with explicit scenes of violence, sex, and abuse that may be triggering for some. There is moderate M/M included in this book that progresses as the story does. All sexual situations in this book are consensual. It is the second book in a series within an overall world epic, and ends with an unavoidable cliffhanger that the author is truly sorry for. Please be aware that this is recommended for readers 18+

This book is fire. We meet Dizzy and gang in book one, it is amazing, hilarious and steamy. This book, book two, is a whole nother level.

We have the steam, we have the nearly choking to death on my tea kind of laughs, we have the feels. Oh and peril! Hard to have a good book without peril.

Dizzy is amazing as always, but this book dives deeper into the lives of her fellas. And boy do we dive! This is a big ol' book with lots of amazing story that develops. Monty, I heart you, Sir.

Warning, this is a cliffhanger but I'm not even mad about it. It is a hearty helping of soul-feeding story and I am here for it!

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! I absolutely adore Dizzy and her unique thought process. She constantly makes me giggle with her squirrely thoughts. And the guys, I love them so much. The author is really good at developing the amazing characters. They all get equal time and attention.

Now sh** is about to hit the fan hard. Their powers and relationships are being tested in this book and I'm sitting on the edge of my seat rooting for them all.

I can't wait for book three!!!!

Holy cliffhangers, Batman!! I ❤️ Dizzy and the guys. I mean, most days, I’m pretty sure I am Dizzy. Minus the harem. But Monty is my favourite by far!! I love that we get to know more about each of the guys. There has never been a funnier and more relatable fmc to me than Dizzy. She is the Queen. This is another “laugh out loud til your sides ache” book mostly because of Dizzy and her musings. But never fear, KQ brings the drama, too. I’m torn between wanting the next book yesterday and never wanting this series to end. It’s so ridiculously amazing!!

One woman's curse is anothers pain in the ***

I chose this rating because the whole story line is very creative. The female is very unique in she is always about to take flight emotionally and metaphorically and her men are a perfect anchor for her as she becomes their wings. And the back story of secret shadow societies coming for her and now Conner is riveting. I am waiting eagerly for the next.

a really high 3

This book is very well written. The author is great at description and has a complex and fascinating mystery going on. I really wish the emotional connection part of the story and the action part was better blended together. Once all the action started, it never stopped and the characters didn’t really check in with each other as I was hoping. I would also love to see more of the various gifts they all share as their connection to Dizzy.

I was lucky to receive an ARC of this book. So freaking good! Kat Quinn pulls you in, makes you laugh, makes you snort and giggle until you can’t breathe and leaves you falling in love with her quirky characters. Wish there were more stars to give. This is the book everyone needs this year!

Phew, it did take me 4 days to read the second part. I thought, I had overcome the exhaustion of book one. But no. It did go the same way as the first part.

I'm still not sure, why it is so hard to read that series. I mean, I have an inkling. For example, the pace of the story. Some parts just trickle by, and are filled with not really useful chapters. Mostly smut. Not, that I'm against that. I mean, I read a lot of books with smut and steam. But it's not easy with all the silly terms, and the strange situations it happens. And other than that, there is a lot of Dizzy's ramblings in it, that prolonged the whole book. I know it is meant to be funny. And some of that is hilarious and good. But sometimes it's just over the top and too much. But I didn't dare skip anything, because I always think there is something important.

And other times the pace is that fast, that I'm not sure what happened, and have to read parts and parts again to understand who did what and when. If the story weren't that interesting, and I didn't want to know how it ends, I wouldn't read the full story. Luckily, I have only one book ahead of me, and not more.

But that's only on the outside. As I said, the story is quite compelling. I love the guys, Aria and the side-characters. Like Lilly and Miss Fern. And okay, I do like Dizzy too. I mean, she has her heart in the right place, even though she is a crazy chick, who tends to ramble about anything. It's not always useful. But that's not a bad thing. It's just often too much.

I give it 4 stars. Even if I had my issues with the books so far.

So, now I will read the last book. Hopefully, it won't be that exhausting again. The final conclusion is on the way.

4 stars!

⭐ DNF/didn't like
⭐⭐ It was okay but i won't be looking for any sequels
⭐⭐⭐ It was good, i'll likely be looking for the next book
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really enjoyed this and i will definitelly be seeking out any and all sequels
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved it so much i'm buying the book on paperback NOW

Well I'll be. This one was even better than the first. A little more serious (yet not) and a little less manic (yet not).

I loved that the boys and Dizzy are at each other's wits end in places. These guys haven't known her long and now they're all living together they're bound to step on each other's toes and piss each other off. And they do. It's not all rainbows and kittens. Potatoes? No, where was i? Oh right yes. They squabble, they fight, they yell, they roll over and show their bellies for forgiveness (okay maybe not literally but Keiran comes pretty close!)

Also

Can't wait for the next one to see what happened to the guys, to learn more about that cliffhanger at the end.

I don't like to give spoilers so my review is vague.

I really enjoyed and devoured the first book so when I say I was excited for this release, excited doesn't even come close to describe my anticipation.

I really enjoy each and every character, the fact that Kat goes in detail BUT not so far in to get lost that she gives us back story to the men in Dizzy's life. We got a little in first book and more in the second. When you think man what's his deal, then you get that story your tearing up thinking oh man I get ya dude, I get ya! The story is progressing and MAN do I want MORE! KAT really delivers on her storyline and giving us a glimpse into her vision.

Dizzy is hilarious! Her inner voice is what captured me in first book, and she definitely didn't fail to deliver in second. Her determination by 3/4 of book is a switch and truly admirable. It shows her growth as a character and love for her family.

The only semi spoiler--- Keiran and Aria fighting over rocks had me snorting.

Aria-- I love her to pieces!!!
Col Stubbs-- truly a cutie pie we all want to steal our scraps.

If you don't like cliffhangers this book isn't for you, BUT I will tell you you are a dolt for passing on an amazing storyline. Kat gives us REALISTIC PEOPLE, NOT modelesque characters making them relatable and honestly desirable.

Kat you are poohead for that cliffhanger BUT I still loved it and looking forward to 3rd book.

I absolutely loved the first book and can confirm the second book only gets better!

I absolutely loved the first book and can confirm the second book only gets better! We were left at the end of the first book with a lot of mystery about David and the shadows. This book picks up a couple of weeks later with Dizzy and the guys going about their lives while trying to prepare for David's return, with Lin researching the shadows on a conspiracy website.
Comes across that blank slates (non magical people) are going missing and then returning changed.
Dizzy is trying to create a life for herself, working at the The Tea Kettle and Cauldron, a shop the guys own and getting used to the fact that she is staying still for the first time in so long. She now has to deal with her problems instead of running away.
My favourite bits are povs from Zeke as you are able to hear the outlandish Dizzy monologues going on. Absolutely nuts!
And man that cliffhanger! Can't wait for book 3

Dizzy is an amazing creature. She’s got a twisty mind that never fails to get me laughing so hard I cry, a golden spirit, and a can do attitude - even if she has a penchant for running she is so adorably lovable and I love how her mind works. Even if it makes mine hurt because that shit can make so much sense even though mine has never jumped through the mental gymnastics to get where she lands most of the time I find her incredibly refreshing and hilarious. Her men have equally but vastly different talents that somehow compliment and sustain each other nigh perfectly. The storyline? Excellent. Sweet. Smart. Hilarious so hard till your in stitches from laughing so hard. Twisty. Turny. Magnificent. Heart jerking- thrown out- stomped on for good measure with that cliffhanger ending but right at that end? Bizarre hope. Hope so strong you cry again. Loved this! So glad I can start reading book three tomorrow ‘cause that cliffy? Broke and rebuilt my heart all at once.

In for a belly laugh

In case you were unaware, Kat Quinn is freaking hilarious. Her first Disaster Jones book gave me plenty of opportunities to be embarrassed in public, when I attempted to control my laughter and instead found it bursting out of me. This book was more of the same, but luckily I knew what to expect and didn’t pull it out during staff meetings, like the previous one. This is a reverse harem book which can sometimes mean unauthentic connections as the author tries to force the myriad relationships together. However, Kat manages to connect Dizzy and her guys in a way that seems true to life and full of emotion, even alongside all the silly humor. I promise, you won’t be let down if you jump into this lovely goodness!

First was great this? Not so much...

This one started off so different from where we left off... Everyone was different. Now Dizzy and Monty are not even talking? What?! And then it's like Dizzy got..dumb? TSTL syndrome? IDK but she drove me NUTS I hate when we are trying to figure out what's going on and then a huge inner monologue or some random sex happens... Now I like my sexy times a lot but why drag everything OUT? Why in the middle of finding things out we take a sex break? Can we wait until you finish your sentence first? I don't know if I'll read anymore.. I tried but this one I actually skip the big time like I went from 3-40 percent to 80 and that ending? How did I know they would get separated? And say WHAT? Who was that with Aria and Stubs? No thanks.

Dnf @ 52%

Honestly this was so boring, the first book was great and it was a lovely funny read. Theres just no grit in the second book, 52% and everything was pretty much the same as when the book started. It moved way too slow for my liking, the smut was okay I guess but still bored the life out of me. I like my book boyfriends to be gritty, rough and sexy as fuck. These guys were just your regular Joe's with magical powers, snoreeeeee.
Also Dizzy is possibly one of the most annoying characters I've ever read. I loved her quirks in the first book but by the second I'm honestly done with her shitty rambles and 3 page long inner monologues.
I kinda wish the whole book was about Aria and no one else 😂

In preparation to read this second book in the series, I reread the first one. I forgot how much I absolutely loved these characters and this world!

Dizzy is actually one of my most favorite FMC’s I’ve ever read! She’s hilarious, brave, and just all-around awesome.

The guys; there’s not one bad thing that I can say about them. They are my idea of a perfect group of RH men. Loving, super sweet, a little possessive, and a little psycho!

Overall this book is fantastic, I actually think I liked it more than the first one - which is saying something since I absolutely adored the first one.

This is my honest, voluntary review; I received an arc from the author.

Definitely a must read for Rh comedic lovers!

I absolutely love Dizzy’s story! I loved the first book and couldn’t wait for this book to come out. I even re-read book one before reading book2. I now can’t wait for the next one!! One of my favourite things about Dizzy is her absolutely out there and wild thoughts and stories ! Please add even more like them in the next! Love the suggested to read book list at the end as well. I’m part of FB group Quinners and have already read most of the suggestions and loved them too. Kat Quinn please get us book 3 as soon as possible! You are amazing!

What the Dizzy!!!

Dizzy and her men are back! I’m still trying to wrap my head around all that went on in the second book of Dizzy’s story. Dizzy’s inner musings had me laughing and my heart clear about stopped a couple of times too. There are clearly some kinks that need to be ironed out between Dizzy and some of her men, which makes for some hilarious moments and Aria, Dizzy’s faithful sidekick throws her hat into the ring of wackyness, but she has her reasons! What a roller coaster book two has been. With more shadows and intrigue than book one, and more heat and hilarity ensuing it’s a smashing follow-up to I’m Cursed! It does end on a bit of a cliff but sets things up very well for the next book.

I think what I loved in the first book was magnified so much so in this book I found it distracting. I really did like Dizzy's stream of consciousness type of narrative in the first book, but only a quarter of the way into the second book and it was just too much for me. It was making it confusing and I was finding I had to flip back to see what the actual conversation was about by the time someone responded or spoke again. The artwork is still amazing for the chapter titles and I really love Lin, but I couldn't get into Dizzy or Month's POVs.

Wonderful story

I love this story! Dizzy and her guys are hilarious- and I love that the author included a “what happened in the first book” overview to remind the reader of the main points and people because as a reader I read a lot of books and I sometimes don’t finish series just for this reason - it can be hard to remember all the people and pieces of the story between book releases! Overall - I would definitely recommend reading and I can’t wait for the next book!!

Cute, funny and intriguing

I admit it took me a but to dive back in. Dizzy is a hard character to get into with her ramblings and inability to focus. That being said it's worth the try because the book is funny and emotional and I enjoyed it as much as the 1st one. I feel bad for Monty and hope he gets in on the action in the next book. Also that cliffhanger hurt but...hopefully it all gets handled in book 3.

Perfect.

Umm...that ending? Rude!! I can’t wait for the next one! For reals. I gotta know. I don’t want to give spoilers so I’m not going to say what I’ll I need answered, but oh man! That was so good. So freaking good! I loved every second. I feel like a lot of this book was setting up for the next one and that makes me so excited for book three. 🤯

Worth the wait

This book took a while to come out, but considering how much work that Kat Quinn has to do herself, let alone the writing, I could’ve waited longer for this gem. Not only is the author fantastic at writing rich, detailed characters, and a grabbing storyline, but the individual relationships the characters have with each other, and themselves, are so wonderfully fleshed out, they could be real people. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

Fun read! Can’t wait for book 3!

I can’t wait to see what happens with Dizzy and her men. Hopefully, the third book comes out soon because that cliffhanger was a doozy! It’s well worth the wait, (the author mentioned she does everything herself, so it might take longer, which is understandable). I also love that the author included a recap of book one in the beginning, it’s always a good refresher.

Enjoying the ride

I've had this series on my tbr list for quite a while now. Honestly, no offense to anyone, I had a hard time getting past the cover. It just never suited what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I finally decided to give it a go.
The characters are interesting, the world is well described, and the story is immersive.
I was really surprised to find out this was their first full book/series. Good job.

You're Cursed continued Disaster Zone Jones' off-the-wall craziness, and I was thoroughly entertained. I'm a little underwhelmed by the pace of her relationships with a couple of the guys, and the whole shadows storyline is just a bit confusing, but I love the quick wit, the protectiveness, the companionship, and the love of found and chosen families. I wish this book would have had a little more of a conclusion, but I guess I'm on to book 3 right away!

Oh no! I can’t deal with that ending. This book just draws you in deeper and deeper. Then it ends and leaves you traumatized and desperate for more. It’s freaking amazing! Let’s go again. I swear I can relate to the mess that is Dizzy’s mind. I have laughed out loud, been scared for the guys, and left in shock. I love this series!

Gosh this book! I have been so excited to read this and it was worth the year wait. Dizzy and her guys are back and with all the more crazy. The chaos and drama is never ending in the best of ways, the ending of the book I want expecting at all and let me just say... GIVE US BACK OUR CINNAMON ROLL! Such a great second book!

Yesssss!!

There was so much happening in this book. And the end, the end just left me speechless. I cannot wait until the next book is out. The relationships Dizzy has with each of her men is as unique as she is. Each man is different and the way she relates to them is different. I love that they all have their own voice. This is hands down one of my favorite series!

Great read

This was a good read and addition to the series. Absolutely fantastic characters and an awesome plot. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it was a year long wait in between books and some of it could have been left out that was just bland and unnecessary. One intimate scene lasted for an entire chapter. Great cliffhanger.

An odd telling of a story...

Not really sure how to write this review. The characters are quirky and fun. Dizzy is a very interesting person. Not like any I have read about before. The story line is really good. Some of their situations are disastrous with a touch of hilarity on top. Can't believe the cliffhanger ending! Leaves you definitely wanting more...
