Great story but I do have to be honest and share that I thought Diane was really dumb not sharing with Kai her suspicions. But then again, if she did...we would only have had a short novella. 😁

Loving someone should also include trusting them as well!

Kai had been attracted to Diane when he first saw her working on a mural in his building, he even fabricated several reasons to walk past her that same day, and when he asked her to have a drink with him, he was both happy and surprised when she agreed. It was the start of a beautiful romance between them. Kai felt that she would be the one he had been looking for to settle down and marry. Diane felt the same way about Kai; they seemed to mesh together perfectly. Then she discovered that she was pregnant and learned that he was a criminal the same day. It devastated her to think that her baby's father could go to jail. She broke up with him the next day, and left Kai did not understand what had gone wrong. It had all been a lie, fabricated by his assistant to break them up. Several times Kai tried to talk to her and ask her what went wrong, it was Diane's mother who told her to confront Kai for an explanation, and in the end she did. I enjoyed reading this romance but did not like how Diane dealt with her discovery; loving someone should also include trusting them as well. A lot of pain felt by them both could have been avoided if she had been honest with Kai. This story ends happily but not before a dramatic arrest of the woman responsible for the lies.

Diane & Kai's story was love at first sight with mega hot sexual chemistry but because he was one of her Dad's clients they had to keep their relationship secret. When she found out she was pregnant whilst he was away I couldn't wait for him to get back & her tell him but when she accidentally found out something bad about him & his business she ended things with him without telling him why or that she was having his baby & she annoyed me a bit because she didn't give him a chance. This story had saw Diane having to cope with her mother's illness, a boyfriend she loved but had to keep secret from her Dad & her only friend was Brie who worked with Kai but even she didn't know everything. Kai had no idea what had happened whilst he was away or why she broke up with him & was devestated, during an argument she told him what she had found about his company, having no idea what she was talking about he got his lawyers &, other people to look into what Diane was accusing him off. They were both shocked to find out who was responsible which I never saw coming but it brought the two of them back together leaving me smiling at the end.

She works for her father, she is a caregiver to her mother and she is devoted to her family. When the family company is hired to paint a mural for Weiss Enterprises she is assigned to do it and there she meets the very handsome and sexy CEO, Kai. There are sparks flying between these two right from the start and when she accepts his invitation to go for a drink together those sparks end up becoming so much more. But with an unexpected pregnancy Diane has something else to contend with regarding Kai. So instead of telling him the news she keeps it quiet as she is not sure she can trust him. Will Diane and Kai, and their baby, get the HEA that they all deserve?
This is an entertaining book that has an interesting story-line and nicely developed characters. An enjoyable read.

Diane is working for her father painting murals and helps take care of her mom when he needs her to. She meets Kai when she is working on a mural and he asks her out for a drink. She agrees not knowing that he is anything but a businessman. They have an instant connection and start seeing each other. He asks her if she'll do a mural in his kitchen at his home and she agrees. One day when she's there she finds some things that has her worried about the kind of man Kai is. This has her pulling away from him. Kai doesn't know why Diane is pushing him away and tries to get her to talk to him. When she learns that she's pregnant she decides to talk to him but someone convinces her otherwise. Will Kai figure out what's going on before he loses Diane and their baby?
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

A beautifully written love story that you will not want to miss out on between the CEO of an investment firm and an artist. The plot was on the original side and the chemistry between the two main characters was electrifying. Throughout the story they both stressed the importance of family, and family comes first over anything else. Then Kai went away on business for a week, and Diane found some incriminating papers at Kai's apartment of him cheating clients. Diane did not know what to think,so she broke it off with Kia. Kia was heart broken, he was in love with Diane, but he had no idea what caused her to end things so suddenly. Now he was on the search for answers of what changed. It would turn out to be one big surprise to everyone especially Kai.

Sweet, beautiful love story. Diane is an artist and is currently painting beautiful murals for businesses. After getting the contract to do a mural for an investment firm, she meets the found Kai and they have a whirl wind romance. But while he’s away on a business trip she learns something that makes her question the man he is and his values. Now she has to break up with, just as she was going to tell him he’s going to be a father. Now she has to keep that from hi also. But seeing him while finishing a project for him is hard especially when he keeps telling her he loves her and wants to know why she broke up with him. Her solution? This is my first time reading something by this author. This was an entertaining and enjoyable read. The story was well-written and flowed nicely. The plot was interesting and had some plot twists and turns that made this an interesting and intriguing story. The characters were strong and well-developed. Kai and Diane were a wonderful couple with undeniable chemistry. You could feel the sparks between them right from the start. Ms. Rayner did a nice job of bringing this story to life with her vivid descriptions and well-developed scenes. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more by this author.

I loved this story, it was well written and very believable and if you don’t talk things out like in this book bad things happen and it only adds to a lot of miss understandings, betrayal, pain, suffering, loss and sadness. And that’s what Diane and Kai went through but in the beginning Diane and his life together was wonderful and new but now not so much with Brae his second in command causing trouble and putting doubts in Diane's mind about Kai and Diane starts pushing him away and keeping secrets from him. How will they get past these problems if they don’t communicate and work together. To find out how it all turns out get this great book you won’t be disappointed.

This book mixes business with pleasure, which adds a little spice to anything, right? Diane began a relationship with a man named Kai, founder and CEO for the company she is painting a mural for. Diane works for her father, so she decides to keep this relationship a secret. Kai and Diane have many meet-ups, and Diane is eventually pregnant. When Kai is away on a business trip, Diane realized what kind of man Kai is and wanted to end things. She also intended to keep her pregnancy a secret from him. How he reacts? You’d need to read this book to know! really enjoyed this book. 5 stars.

This was about a quick falling in situation. Both characters fell in love around the same time. The relationship at the beginning was based on trust and love. But one of his executive set him up so it appeared he was doing sock fraud. His girlfriend believed the false information. Also during this time she became pregnant. Finally telling him what she knew about the stock situation, he was devastated and started the investigation. He explained what happened. The rest was HEA.
There was no excitement in this story. I figured out the ending at 1/4 Mark of the book.

Wow. A great suspenseful love story
This book just about had everything in it: Close family ties, a mother was a life changing illness, an overworked stressed husband and daughter, a new boyfriend who's a billionaire, a new friend who works for and steals from said boyfriend and a baby. Love and intrigue combined, how can you miss. The love story between Diane and Kai is all of that and more. It's fast passed and really good, hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Written by Cindy :)

Diane is a talented young artist who meets Kai a self made billionaire. Instant connection and instant sparks happen. Then unwanted happens, Is Kai really that good man that Diane's heart believes in. It is a good story with confusion, heartbreaking twists happen. I liked the story and it could actually become a movie. I would recommend this novel to all. A very good read indeed.

Love this story, but then I love all of Holly Rayner’s books. This latest brings an artist, Diane, and a high power investor billionaire, Kai together. They must overcome struggles created by a trusted person; Reveal secrets being held, and find their HEA.

Diane was hired to paint a mural, when Kai ask her out and turned out to be an amazing night. But things have a way of changing quickly. This is a sweet love story with bit of drama and some mystery and tension thrown in to keep you on the edge of your chair as you turn each page hoping that Diane and Kai's journey end in HAE.

No spoilers here. Holly does it again with another knock it out of the park romance story. A fantastic story line that captures you and holds you until the end. The characters are well developed, easy to love, have definite chemistry and so enjoyable. A great romantic read for summertime, or any time of year for that matter.

A well written, entertaining, captivating, engaging, exciting, and emotionally deep read. There is drama, twists and turns, and is guaranteed to hold your interest from start to finish. Really?!
I loved Kai and felt like he was not given the benefit of the doubt. Rachel said at the beginning she knew nothing about stocks, financial investments and yet she made a decision based on emails that she wouldn’t know how to decipher!
Again I hate the “I won’t tell the father” premise but I knew it was coming because of the summary but I still am not a fan. Again the heroine is weak, presumptuous and misguided

The characters are interesting, well drawn and passionate. The storyline is full of surprises and entertaining will keep you turning pages to the end. At one point you may want to shake Diane for so many droughts and fears and wrongfully assuming the worst.

I liked this book. Diane and Kai's story had plenty of emotions, tension, drama and turmoil. Toss in a few twists and a bit of angst and you have yourself an entertaining read that will have you invested and getting lots of feels. This is my independent, impartial review.

Loved this story with Diane and Kai who meet and sparks fly and as they begin a relationship there are those who are trying to derail their plans. This is filled with suspense and romance that keeps this story interesting so it is hard to put down.

Yet another winner from Holly Rayner .The book grabbed me from the beginning. Great characters. I always love holly’s books and thin was no exception.

Old fashioned love storyline with lots of suspense thoughout
