She's afraid her college dreams are falling apart. He's hopeful that God's plans for him are just coming together.
Peyton Kelly is fumbling her way through her freshman year of college. Between her full class schedule and the demands of being a university cheerleader, she’s barely holding it together. After Peyton falls during practice she’s afraid that her cheerleading spot could be in jeopardy and doesn’t want anyone to know.
Spencer Brooks seems to have college life all figured out. He’s a good student and a leader in the campus ministry. But when he meets Peyton his world tilts on its axis. He’s only afraid they couldn’t be more opposite.
When Peyton’s injury becomes clear and Spencer needs to be the one to help her navigate campus, their friendship starts to grow. But can the cheerleader and the worship leader find common ground?
I read this book and loved it. Peyton’s parents had died a few years back and she is mad at God. The kindle version I read was called “Dream With Me” Rated G
Peyton believes the only thing she is good at is cheerleading. Spencer is a good guy serving in a campus club. The two of them teach each other about life and following God’s plan instead of their own. The story is a page turner with what ifs and now whats.... a clean romance with a happy ever after ending.
Peyton Jane Kelly is a hot mess and has no sense of direction for her life as it's always revolved around cheerleading. After she has a bad ankle injury, her life spirals out of control. She meets Spencer and they fast become friends. He is a strong Christian who walks closely with God and knows already that whatever he does in life, he'll be sharing Jesus with the lost.
Can Peyton trust God with direction for her life? Will Spencer and Peyton trust God and each other for a life together?
It is always good to see how people search to find what the future holds for them. It is never an easy an thing to do. I do believe God will show the way if you trust in Him to show where where you can best serve. It is never simple but if you listen to His direction, it will for the best place for you to be.
This was a sweet Christian love story. It was about a freshman girl struggling to find herself and to find her relationship with God. She has an accident while at cheerleading practice and falls for a sophmore guy that leads her back to Christ. They fail in love and find their HEA. great story that I would definitely recommend!
This took me back a generation. What a pleasant surprise to be so absorbed into the characters, that I couldn’t put it down. The real shock was that it was a yesteryear romance where the couple got to know each other, fall in love and just kiss until marriage. How refreshingly tasteful. I was swept away. I was gifted this wonderful book.
I almost stopping reading when I realized it was about young college kids. I’m almost 73 yrs old and just no longer use my reading time on young love. But I’m very happy I read this story, it’s definitely worth the read!!!
What this author is great. I fought tears all most all the way through this book. I was laughing and smiling too. There was a lot of twists and turns in just the right places and some thing to you that can help you with your life.
What a sweet inspiring story! Very relatable characters as they walk through things that many Christians do as we seek God's plan and purpose for our lives. Well written and engaging!
