Didn’t reach the heights of the first in the series for me,felt like an almost by the the numbers fantasy tale and thought that was it for me for this series...but the taster of the next one has me hooked in to try the next one

Cheveyo and Ruby return to the Seven Territories, uncovering the dark powers that control the city of Babylon and the truth of their world’s fall. After saving a girl from a ghoul attack, Cheveyo embraces his destiny as a Peacemaker to save a friend from an undead horde.
Gareth Clegg is quickly becoming a must-read for any fan of dark fantasy. Babylon is a fantastic second installment, the book throws you right into the middle of the action and never lets up.

Gripping,entertaining, can good stuff!
Great storyline, great characters, plenty of action, thought provoking and with the sort of humour is Yorkshiremen are famed for ! Brilliantly written, go an' read ALL his books ! The wi'n't be disappointed ! !
