Interesting ideas and recipes

I am interested in dehydrating as a way to preserve foods for longer. But, I have never done it before and the whole process seemed daunting. This book made it seem very easy. I liked that the author broke down the book into sections and then gave tips, tricks, and guidance to each food type specifically. This made it really easy to follow. If I want to preserve strawberries I go to the fruit section. There are then a bunch of recipes to follow. I liked that the author spent a lot of time.going over how to keep dehydrated foods preserved. That was helpful. Overall, I am excited to try a lot of this out.

This is just a copy of the “hardback/paperback” book. By that I mean the table of contents is not set up so that you can click on the topic and go to that page like other Kindle books. I found navigation in the Kindle to be difficult. I was looking for instructions fir dehydrating onions, and while there was information about a variety of OTHER vegetables...there was nothing on onions. There are only 120 pages, an more than half of the pages are measurements conversions and recipes. I am glad I borrowed it through Kindle Unlimited and I will look for something more helpful to buy.

Low on storage?

This book teaches you how to preserve fresh fruits and vegetables to use later. It gives the best way to do each and even jerky recipes, to save even more money. It also tells you about storing the goods. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn how to save money by buying in season and dehydrating for later use.

Emergency readiness

I picked this up looking for a jerky recipe. Instead I got so much more. This is how to dehydrate recipes for storage and rehydrate for consumption. This is kind of a new concept for me. Dehydrated soups would be a space saver compared to canning.
