Freaking a bucket full of Marbles dropped bouncing off wildly on a glass ceiling. Will it break, well it gets a bit of chinks but hold itself tough!!! It is only money, money is just paper with pictures printed on it so we don't have to kill each other to have something to eat - Tuld.
What a high octane masterpiece. Depicts the 36 hours before the 2008 bust of a firm ( ahem Lehman bros.- even Tuld rhymes with Fuld). Under the tailored suits and the starched shirt execs are primal aurvival instincts from the wild of the dark ages. Extremely ruthless, dog eat dog world of extremely smart people, but alas there are smarter who eat the smart ones. Not to mention what happens to us laymen in such a world, we get royally reamed.
Great , fast read. Must read for those with interests in the financial Markets, to understand the frivolity, hypocrisy and the fragility of it all.
A nice exchange from the book. This should conclusively motivate you to read the book -
Did you know the fear most people feel when they stand on the edge like this is not actually a fear that they will fall but instead it's the subconscious fearing that they might jump? ....It's a fear of losing faith.
