Mob princess Lucie Rizzo can’t catch a break. Or take one. Building a business empire is hard work, even without her family’s notoriety. Staying out of trouble isn’t exactly her forte. Still, Lucie could use a vacation from Chicago winters and the town where everybody knows her father’s name. So when a certain Irish cop promises warmer days—and hotter nights—Lucie sees an offer she can’t refuse.

Detective O’Hottie sweeps her away to the land of sun, sand, and…retirees? Before the real romantic getaway begins, Tim wants to visit his Uncle Henry. Or, to be exact, Tim’s mom wants the goods on Henry’s new girlfriend. Ha! Family drama without a Rizzo involved. What could a sweet, 50-something woman be hiding? Not a lot, judging by the amount of cleavage on display. Holy cannoli, Henry’s Mattie could give Lucie’s bombshell BFF a run for her money.

It’s more than just the skintight leopard print making Tim do a double take. The details don’t add up. Mattie’s not being completely honest—and Lucie smells a rat. Uncle Henry’s gal pal isn’t who she claims to be. But is Mattie playing a long con, or is she the victim? Either way, Lucie is getting caught in a dangerous game.

Incognito by Adrienne Giordano

7th book in the Lucie Rizzo cozy mystery series.
Lucie and Tim go on vacation to sunny warmth. Mob Family, BFF, and a mystery quickly follow.
To help solve the mystery, Lucie actually uses her prior business experience in contracts to do some sleuthing. She and Tim work diligently together to find clues. And as usual, dog-walking plays a huge role in the set up.

Entertaining and humorous, especially because of Lucie’s BFF and the souped up golf carts, it was a fun read.
It can stand alone as a cozy mystery but it’s really better to have read at least a few of the first books. In particular because of the ending. No spoilers, but I’m betting on the confident man.

Detective Timothy (O’Hottie) O’Brian are off to

Tim’s Uncle Henry in Paradise City. Paradise City
is an over fifty community with beaches, a pool,

But trouble seems to follow a Lucie. She is

a pit bull when someone tries to kidnap her in
broad daylight.

Incognito by Adrienne Giordano
A Lucy Rizzo Mystery

Lucy has built her business up rapidly and finds leaving it to go on vacation with her boyfriend a bit difficult but off they go to sunny Florida leaving wintry Chicago behind. Ten days of blissful sunshine, quiet and time alone with Tim will be sublime...right? Maybe… First a stop to check on Tim’s uncle to find out just what the new girlfriend is really like then off to alone time in the Florida Keys. But, as is often true for Lucy, nothing seems to go as planned. That said, maybe this time it will be Tim’s family instead of Lucy’s mob family that will be causing trouble.

This is a fun book with short appearances by Lucy’s parents, brother and her best friend. There is a dog to be walked. There are bad guys to thwart BUT there are no dead bodies so the mystery is not to find a murderer but to uncover what the new girlfriend of the uncle might be hiding. Fun and funny and well worth reading this book left me wondering what will happen next as it seems Lucy’s first love is moving back to Chicago after six months in New York and Tim believes Frankie most is returning because he wants Lucy back. AND Tim plans to keep Lucy for himself.

Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

Delightful!

There’s love, passion, intrigue, & two of the craziest families this side of the Mississippi! Lucie & Tim are in a great place with their romance taking a 10 day vacation to Florida to get away from all the Chicago crazies. Little did the know they were headed into another kinda crazy. Throw in some surprise visitors & the fun is over the top!

Lucie Rizzo and her Detective “O’Hottie” finally get to go on a vacation together, but first they stop off to check on “O’Hottie’s” uncle. Poor Lucie. I couldn’t stop laughing! To me that is the sign of a wonderful book! The ending was unexpected.

It’s been a bit challenging trying to write this review...while at the same time laughing historically. Even after the story has ended, I think back to a specific passage between Lucie and Ro, or O’Hottie and Papa Rizzo, and I start up all over again! Adrienne Giordano’s latest installment of the Lucie Rizzo Mystery series, Incognito, once again brings a captivating “Who done it” with a unique feistiness known as Lucie Rizzo. Underlying the mystery itself is an intelligent premise involving high finance, thrown in with an attempt of Lucie and Tim taking a much needed vacation (which in itself is sane enough) but when you throw in Ro, Joey, and Mama and Papa Rizzo following along...uninvited of course...you are assured that levity will ensue.

Adrienne Giordano is masterful in creating characters who leave a lasting impression...especially when those characters are Lucie Rizzo, et.al. From the opening sentence, to the last paragraph there were endless sources of amusement...the witty repartee between Lucie and Ro, the banter zinging back and forth between the Rizzo clan, and then there just had to be an Escaladesque golf cart thrown in for good measure. I know I will be richly entertained when I settle in with a Lucie Rizzo mystery, Incognito did not disappoint in the least!

As a side note...Tim should be canonized upon his passing in the very, very, very distant future, his patience with the Rizzo’s is sainthood worthy...and should be brought straight to the Pope’s attention for nomination.

This book was complimentary and provided by the author. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

What comes around goes around, right? In Incognito the tables are turned and even though all the same wacky characters are involved, it's O'Hottie’s family that's in the hot seat so to speak.

Lucie and Tim go on a much needed vacation and their first stop is to Paradise City to visit Tim's favorite Uncle Henry. Paradise City makes me wish I was wealthy and was over the age of fifty, I mean what could be better than a community with restaurants, clubs, beaches, pools with bars and Escalade golf carts? Tim's mother wanted a report on Henry’s new girlfriend and while scooping out Ro's twin in twenty-five years, Lucie had a case of mistaken identity and is almost kidnapped, which opens a whole can of worms and turns Uncle Henry's life upside down in return putting a damper in Tim and Lucie’s romantic vacation. But never fear the Rizzo clan isn't far behind adding another kink in the vaca, turning things even more upside-down but hilariously helpful in their own exciting way.

I totally love this series and can't wait to find out what these wacky characters get up to next. Especially that person from the past making good on a promise made to Tim.

Hilarity ensues when Lucie Rizzo and her sidekicks return! Just when Tim thinks things have quieted down on the home front and he and his girl are going to sneak away on a vacation together, issues start popping up left and right. If you've been reading this series, you will quickly recognize most of the characters and be quick to remember all of the mischief that has been the motto of this gnarly gang of misfits. I felt it missed a little something from the pace of some of the other books, but enjoyed it none-the-less. Looking forward to more to come!

Lucie Rizzo finally agrees to put down the reigns of her business and slip away for a vacation with Tim, but it doesn't take long for a mystery to fall into their laps when they stop to visit Tim's Uncle Henry and his new love Mattie.

Tim isn't sure what to make of this woman his Uncle is taken with, but when things start to not add up in the stories he's hearing, he sets out to find out what's truly going on here. With surprises around every corner and danger soon lurking, it looks like Tim is going along for the ride in a Lucie-like escapade!

Incognito by Adrienne Giordano is the sixth book in the Lucie Rizzo series. It can be read as a stand alone but is so much fun when you read it along with the series. Giordano treats us once again to an original mystery, a mob princess, wacky family, supportive but crazy friends, and a dog (of course), and a hot cop!

These books are so much fun. It’s hard to capture all of it in a review, but if you like cozy mysteries, give this one a read. You will fall in love with the series! Incognito kept me turning pages while laughing and having a grand old time with the characters. Giordano does such a spectacular job with the originality of her stories! I enjoy figuring out the mystery along with Lucie and the gang because it makes it much more of an adventure!

Along with the fun story and characters in Incognito, this is probably my favorite book with Tim and Lucie’s romance. Their flirting and quips with one another made me smile. They are such a fun couple and any detective that can put up with a mob boss daughter’s family is a keeper!

If you are looking for an entertaining read with crazy characters, an equally crazy adventure and love and family, give Incognito a read!

Does Lucie and Tim really get to take a vacation? I was happy to see them go down to Florida to visit with Tim’s uncle. I know that feeling when when Lucie’s relatives drive up along with Ro, her best friend. I am sure that Tim was asking himself “what did I do wrong to deserve this‽”. I can’t imagine what Lucie was thinking when she was helping out Henry by walking his girlfriend’s dog and a man tries to kidnap her. She can’t even get away from Chicago without the drama following her. But she is glad to find out that Tim’s family are the ones causing all the drama this time. I felt sorry for Tim’s Uncle Henry when he finds the truth out about his girlfriend. Of course Lucie’s family is just as hilarious as they always are with their crazy ways! This is another good mystery with lots of laughs. I encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

This is the first of the Lucie Rizzo books that i have read, and I must say it was a lot of fun to read. Looks like I will be going back to read the previous books! Lighthearted and fun, this book takes place almost exclusively in a retirement community in Florida. Of course, things never go smoothly for Lucie and Tim as they are trying to have their first vacation as a couple. They have stopped at the retirement community to visit Tim’s Uncle and all sorts of trouble happens. Lucie’s family can’t leave her alone, and soon everyone is involved. Cute, cute mystery that was very easy reading. So glad i read this book and will definitely read more of Lucie’s adventures. I usually only read Ms. Giordano’s more contemporary romances and romantic suspense books which i always love, but will not shy away from these now!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, and heartbreak.

If you have not already read the below I would recommend reading those books first:
Dog Collar Crime (Lucie Rizzo Mystery, #1)
Dog Collar Knockoff (Lucie Rizzo Mystery, #2)
Dog Collar Couture (Lucie Rizzo Mystery #3)
Dog Collar Chaos (Lucie Rizzo Mystery #4)
Dog Collar Cuisine (Lucie Rizzo Mystery #5)

This is more of Lucie's story. Lucie and Tim head out on a much-needed vacation. But is it really a vacation when they have to put there heads together to solve a mystery? They will need to keep up all the hard work in order to find all the clues to solve the case. In the end will they be able to solve the case or will the vacation be over before they can figure out what exactly is going on?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

Lucy working with Tim? Awesome!

Outstanding characters, delightful chaos, and a tough mystery create the perfect PG-13 cozy mystery in the newest Lucy Rizzo novel, Incognito. Lucy and Tim's ten day dream vacation was shot to be all sun, sex and sand. Well, except for a little detour to visit Tim's uncle. Within two days that dream melted into a Rizzo style emergency investigation but this time it has nothing to do with Lucy or her friends. The one good thing is that she and Tim are working side by side to help his uncle's new love.
Note for fans of traditional cozy mysteries, Lucy thinks about sex quite a bit, after all she is on vacation and their love is new, and the F word is used twice. I am not a fan of the word but both times it is in extreme circumstances in which my friends would use it.

Kindle Copy for Review

Our favorite mob daughter is back again with her detective boyfriend as they make time to go on a vacation to sunny Florida in the midst of Chicago cold. They visit his uncle who has a new girl friend as they promise to check her out for the detective’s mom.

But things may not be as simple since the new girlfriend is more than what she seems as she can put Lucie’s best friend a run for the money. Could she be innocent or is she pulling a scam? Something is not sitting right for our mob princess.

Once again you cannot help but fall for our mob girl and her detective hottie.

Being a mob princess and trying to be a legitimate businesswoman and dating a dectective is hard! Lucie is doing her best to keep everyone happy but it’s wearing on her. Fortunately, Detective O’Hottie offers to take her on vacation for some quiet alone time. The only fly in the ointment is that on their way to the getaway Tim’s mother wants them to stop to see his Uncle Henry (aka snoop) and his new girlfriend. Needless to say, things do not turn out as expected and before you know it the entire Rizzo family descends on their trip. Needless to say, mystery and hilarity soon ensue. I think this book is my favorite of the series so far.

Incognito, Book #7, Lucie Rizzo mysteries
By Adrienne Giordano

Another fun adventure in Lucie Rizzo's crazy life. In this misadventure, Lucie and Tim are finally getting out of Franklin for a much needed vacation in Florida. On their way to the Keys, the stop to visit Tim's Uncle Henry and meet Henry's lady friend, Mattie. When Maggie's past catches up to her, and when Do, Joey, And Mom and Dad Rizzo crash Lucie and Tim's vacation, Florida may never be the same.

Giordano's work is always top notch, and this novel is that and more. Plus, no cliffhanger ending, but boy oh boy was the door left wide open for more adventures to come.

I received a free kindle copy for my honest review.

I love the cover of the book.

I just love Lucie Rizzo's adventures. This time her boyfriend Tim and Lucie go to Florida on vacation and stop to visit his uncle. Of course Lucie's BBF and family had to follow her down to Florida. They all get involved in Tim's uncle Henry's girlfriend's problems. Let the fun begin. Never a dull moment. I enjoyed every minute of the story.

Incognito is the seventh book in the Lucie Rizzo Mystery series. It was so nice to dive back into Lucie's world. Lucie and Tim visit his uncle, and they both feel that something isn't quite right with his new lady friend. What's going on? Lucie is determined to find out. This story was full of humor, secrets, and twists and turns. It keeps you hooked from the get-go. I absolutely loved it. A definite must-read!

This series is like no other, filled with mysteries, dogs and Italian family hysterics it is one laugh after another while Lucie works on solving another mystery with her hot Irish Detective boyfriend. If you like Stephanie Plum you're going to really love Lucie. Each story has more than it's share of twists and turns and dogs. I highly recommend this book and the entire series - you are really going to enjoy them.

I just love this series. It is so fun and full of kooky characters. Lucie and Tim think they are going to go on a much needed vacation. They are going to make a stop in Florida to see Tim's uncle for a couple of days. It turns into a big fiasco when Lucie's family shows up. As always, they bring craziness with them. Fun times for everyone.

Lucie Rizzo Mysteries are my favorite! Incognito was entertaining from beginning to end. Whenever Lucie's family is involved, there's always plenty of laugh out loud moments. Some of my favorite parts were Tim's reaction when he meets his Uncle Henry's girlfriend, the Rizzo family grand entrance and, of course, any scenes with Ro are always hilarious! I highly recommend this series!

Another fun Lucie story! She's taking her trip with O'Hottie but, of course, it can never be as simple as just a nice relaxing holiday. They stay with Tim's uncle, who has a new lady friend, Mattie, and things she says just don't add up. Lucie and Tim get swept into another investigation, to help Mattie and get to the bottom of the problem. This is a good read, with funny moments with the Rizzo family.

Lucie is sleuthing away... literally away this time. I love Tim “McHottie” and how he adapts to Lucie’s fun and mostly harmless crazy! Tim & Lucie are both on the same page this time and the hijinks ensue. They pull out the stops and solve the mystery. After all, family is family – crazy and all. This story is just as enjoyable as all of the other Lucie adventures!

Always hilarious

This series is always guaranteed a good read and a good laugh. Lucie can’t escape Ro and the Rizzo clan, if she tried. They were hilarious and I loved every minute. The mystery behind it all was good but I love the family and Lucie with her Tim most of all.
