Was a fun read and is definitely a good feminist read. Butttt you can definitely see a bit of revisionist history in this. Just completely omitting terrible things that some of these women have done... Unless they're Chinese... Definitely could see a bias against Chinese female historical figures 👀👀 the Chinese women that the author decided to talk about were all "evil empresses" or the wives of not great politicians. Like cmon there are definitely a plethora of Chinese women who have done amazing positive things through history.
