Galactic Express: Escape the Simulation

Rate this book
Escape the simulation. Save the world.
The first artificial super-intelligence has been created. It might have been a real game changer, if only it hadn’t worked so well that it convinced its inventor he was wasting his time, and that perhaps he’d be better off getting a real job with a pension instead of playing with gadgets in his garage all day.  Thus the first intelligent machine slipped through the fingers of humanity unnoticed.   It would not be the last. The Cyborg girl Sali doesn't know she’s living a simulated life. The government experiment she’s trapped in won’t let her log off until she passes their tests, but everything goes wrong when an intelligent virus infects the simulation.   Government agents frantically navigate a hilariously incompetent bureaucracy as they struggle to contain the evolving threat. They’re no match for a program that can rewrite its own source code, exponentially increasing its own intelligence as it infests the simulation, and if it escapes, the entire world.  Everything is spiraling out of control. No one is safe, least of all Sali and the other prisoners who face execution in the desperate bid to shut the simulation down.
A humorous, thought provoking space adventure awaits.  "Written in the style of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."
★★★★★ "...mesmerizing (and addictive...late nights guaranteed!)"
★★★★★ "One of the most intense and revolutionary Sci Fi books I've read this year."

Former neuroscience researcher, born again horror writer. During my studies, it struck me as odd that I could learn so much about why humans behave without understanding the intricacies of human nature. It occurred to me that I learned more about the depths of human experience from reading Dostoyevsky than I ever had from my text books, and I was inspired to write.

Journey to the Unknown

Galactic Express will take you on a thrill ride. For science fiction buffs this book will be a treat. This book is brilliantly written. The depiction of the cast of characters and their antics are hilarious. While some of the characters are humans, other humans have upgraded themselves with cybernetic parts. Science fiction with a blend of horror. Fast paced action.

One of the most intense, revolutionary and inattentive,Sci Fi genre books I have read this year. What happens when you can be imprisoned and be subjected to VR game level challenges that may be perceived as real, only to be put back into the VR experience to rid it of Intelligent Viruses that can destroy all? Find out in this book By Tobias Wade. I Loved it!!!!!!!!

Great concept - Prisoners wake up after suspended animation and find that they have been sent on a long space mission to settle a distant planet.

But wait - Really it's an intense virtual reality game for the entertainment of the other residents of their planet (they are prisoners and have no idea).

But wait - More layers add to the complications.

Read it!!

Wait, whats going on? I got about halfway and just couldn't finish this one. Too much shifting back and forth makes the story line very hard to follow. I had to go back several times and re-read sections to clear up what was going on.
