John Henry “Doc” Holiday and the rest of “The President’s Dozen” (plus one) race into the breach once again, undaunted by the deadliest odds they’ve ever faced. Their mission is to hunt down “The Keeper” and a man calling himself Nostradamus “The Father of Time”, whose scrolls reputedly contain a secret that could rock the entire world. Modern science and medicine say that’s impossible. So it’s up to Doc and his team to uncover the truth, whatever it is. To do that, they must keep a date with destiny and a lady who is known by many names around the world...
Still learning about writing and marketing books. When I'm not writing, I'm usually checking out single malts at The Black Cat, Rose St, Edinburgh. Join me :-)
It amazes me at how you have Doc and team, plus their wives in such dangerous situations keep them all straight and the weapons used. The story is takes place in the States and abroad. Madeline is reunited with her brother , a French Legionaire, assigned to bring home a friend and fellow soldier, aka Nostradamus., who is in the hands of the Keeper and Guardians. Please excuse all misspelled words, it's the wee hours. There is another great mystery in this story, did the Keeper make it out before the helicopter was shot down? Guess ill find out in Book 4. Great job. Thank you.
Doc Holiday and his team are once again pitted against the Keeper, this time in a quest for predictions generated by a would be Nostradamus. The chase goes from a mountain lake in Montana to Sedona, AZ to Svalbard, Norway and on to New York City. In between, there are a lot of bodies, an interaction with the French government, and some really strange weapons deployed by all sides. This would have gotten four stars, but it somehow missed the copy editor's desk, either for the hard copy version, or the conversion to kindle.
The Keeper is back. And now he’s got an accomplice: Nostradamus. After another attack on his home, Doc is fed up with Keeper and the Guardians and it’s war. He’s got some more fancy weapons to help.
Even for a book of fiction, Rafe is too good to be true.
Fave scenes: Doc’s attic surprise, Uno, the cleaver & the wok and the seven drop bags.
Edge of your seat, action fiction at its best, exceptional plot line, characters who stay steadfast in “character “…everything that makes this series first rate. Treat your senses and join the chaos along with some great heroes.
Very hackneyed storyline with simplistic couples and simplistic friendships. The bad guy is a brother of a good guy and is simplistically mega narcissist.. really naming the first wife Melanie?
Thus series of books are triumphant and very intriguing. I loved the introduction of one if the team's, brother....his skills are so exciting....I can't wait to read the next book in the series......
Doc and team are after a madman. It's a well thought out take that chronicles the fate of a billionaire genius and friend. What lengths they got to destroy the planet.
very disappointed. calls connie beauty?? give me a break. this series has gone down hill.. i prefer the pendergrast series. everyone is too sweet in the templar novels. no realism. 1rst book in series was good. i didn't read them in order but this one is just a disappointment.
The series although a little out there is captivating. The team has a unique skill set which keeps the story moving along. Overall I am enjoying the premise.
