I enjoy the weekdays best, when I have the beach to myself, but for all the warmth and sun of the season, my life feels cold and empty.

Colton has everything that money can buy but the one think that he really wants is a woman to share his life with and a family. While jogging on the beach his eyes lands on a beautiful woman and he knows she is the one he has been waiting for so when she is in danger he is determined to save her with no thought of the consequences.
Jaydee is feeling out of place on the beach due to her curvy figure but she soon immerses herself in her photography until she sees Colton. From one glance he inspires feelings in her that she has never felt before but when the less than amicable relationship that he and her father share is revealed will this be their beginning or their end?
Jayden is a lot stronger than she appears and isn’t about to just let Colton walk out of her life while Colton proves that there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for the woman he loves.

I really loved the heroine in this one! I’m enjoying a return to the Flora books in the 2018 time crime which focused on the falling in love instead of the setting/locale. Really enjoyable!

Jaydee is a very shy, introverted person. Even when her father pushes her to go to the beach just to try to be a little social, she covers up in a sarong and wears a gigantic straw hat and sunglasses to hide herself, preferring to dig a deep hole and crawl into it! As deserted as the beach is right now, a couple of girls in bikinis look at her over their sunglasses, whisper and snicker at her. She notices a change in the breeze and some lightning on the horizon as the predicted storm slowly moves in. She should get some great shots with the camera she brought along! She almost drops her camera when she zooms in on the beach and sees a handsome guy running! She is so fascinated that she chooses to ignore the cold wind and dark inky clouds that are worsening. He stops to stretch, then looks toward her and lifts a brow, as if wondering why she is pointing a camera at him in the light drizzle of rain! Then suddenly a huge gust of wind sweeps her off the pier and into the water – and she can’t swim! Her world goes black . . .
Colton works as a lifeguard on weekends and volunteers with the local surf club, then enjoys the beach the rest of the week. Today, even with a storm brewing, he needs to run. Owning beachfront property and a huge inheritance still doesn’t make the loneliness go away. Two pretenders bat their eyes at him and try to call him over. But he wants a real woman that he can love and have intelligent conversations with. He spots a woman taking pictures on the pier and almost feels like she is looking at him. He gets a strong sense that he’s been here before with her, but he knows he hasn’t. And then she is swept off the pier and doesn’t come up! He dives into the surf and feels the rip, concerned she will be swept away before he can find her; but her camera reflects light as she sinks and he grabs her.
Colton is able to save her with CPR, even though she goes in and out of consciousness. He waits on the beach for the ambulance and stays with her at the hospital. Then the doctor comes in and wants her to stay overnight. She firmly declines and wants to go home. Even her warm attitude toward Colton has disappeared and she snaps at him to mind his own business! What has happened to make her suddenly reject him? How can he fix this and tell her how much he wants her to be his? He was certain she felt the same, even just two minutes ago!
This is another good story by this author. Colton hadn’t realized Jaydee heard the doctor’s rebuke to him that he was aware of the legacy that Colton’s Grandfather gave to the hospital, but, as the doctor, it was his decision alone about her staying overnight and Colton has no say about it. To Jaydee, that comment firmly showed she was way out of her league to even hope for a relationship with her Mr. Perfect hero. There was no way he would want her, and she just wanted to go home immediately and get away from this embarrassment. Can Colton change her mind? Will he remember how she changed immediately after the doctor’s comment? Will she listen to him so they can find their HEA?

Chemistry and passion so strong they will overcome everything.
Colton was running on the beach on his day off he is deep in thought thinking he has most things in his life except the woman of his dreams. He didnt want the Bikini wearing barbie girls who want nothing but to shop and go plastic in their looks. he wants a real woman who will be the mother of his children, The equal to him. When he gets a fun feeling that his woman is on the beach somewhere he can just feel it.
Jaydee is out on he beach trying to hide her curvy body from the woman who think its ok to look at her and laugh. She is very self-conscious about her body already. SO she goes on the pier to take some picture of the storm that is rolling in. When she sees a sexy hunk of a man running on the beach before she can stop herself Jaydee finds herself taking photos of him. As he stops to do some stretches its like he is looking right at her and she notices changes in his body and cant help but click away. As she walks closer she doesn't notice there is no railing and finds herself falling into the ocean.
Colton is quick to jump into save the woman of his dreams and thankfully the reflection from the camera that is around her neck makes it easy to find her but had he found her in time???
This is a great read with a massive twist in the storyline that could ruin everything. Will they be strong enough to find each other. There is something very special about these two and i willed them to find each other because they are made for each other. Its a very addictive story and i couldnt put it down. A great short story that will leave you with a big smile on your face!!!!

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Jaydee Beckett and Colton Smith. Jaydee's dad believes she spends way to much time in the house and tells her she should go out to the beach and enjoy the weather before a storm rolls in. Reluctantly she does as he asks but is embarrassed when the mean girls on the beach make fun of her size. Then when she looses her sarong and hate she knows things are going from bad to worse. The bright spot is a jogger out on the beach. The more pictures she takes of him the more she wants. When she tries to grab her sarong and ends up in the water instead she believes this is it for her and at least her last sight was of the hot man. Colton was out running on the beach like he does every-time he is bored. He is a lifeguard and knows that he has to keep his body in shape and running helps with that. He feels empty though like there is something missing from his life but he doesn't know what. That is until he sees Jaydee and watches her fall into the water. Now that he knows what he has been missing in his life he won't let it go without a fight. Will these two find a HEA or will life have other plans for them?
This is another hit out the park by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Colton feels alone, his big house, bank account fat, nice cars and an empty heart .
Jaydee is a twenty year old virgin that does not seem interested in boys or friends her father hints around but she just rolls her eyes. She will stick with taking photos. Her camera zooms in on the most magnificent man she had ever seen. But with a storm coming up one gust of wind and poof she is reaching out for her cover-up only to fall into the bay. Colton watches in slow motion as the beautiful woman falls over the edge of the pier and dissapeared into the black waters.

The winds suddenly whips up & takes her sarong with it. Not thinking, she leaps forward to grab it,but is only met with air - all around her. Next thing she knows, she's falling into the sea. She can't swim & her only thought is that she'll never get to meet the dishy lifeguard.
Colton noticed her on the pier moments before she fell. He swears he could see her soul through that lens & knew he had to have her. After she starts falling, he's running up the beach to try to get to her. After a few seconds of panicking, he sees the glint of her camera lens & dives down to grab her.

Jaydee goes to the beach to take some pictures before the storm comes in and she sees this sexy man in the water. Colton tries not to watch the stunning woman snapping pictures but he couldn't help himself. When he saw her fall into the water he was the first to go for her and when he brought her up. Jaydee was staring up into the eyes of the stranger she had taken pictures of when he kept saying mine to her. Colton followed her to the hospital and wouldn't let her out of his sight. Jaydee refused to stay over night so Colton took her home with him. Just as they were getting to know each other her father shows up causing all kinds of trouble for them. Will her father cause Colton to end things between them?
This is a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Flora Ferrari is one of my top 10 must read authors and this book only solidifies that standing. Ms. Ferrari has a knack for writing a story line that keeps you entertained as well as makes you feel good from beginning to the end. The characters in her books are well written and you find that you have to cheer for their happily ever after. Her books are perfect for coming home from a rough day, with little reading time in your busy schedule, and being able to enjoy a short story that lets your imagination run and leaves you feeling great after finishing. This world is crazy enough and it's so great to be able to put a little joy in it. Colton and Jaydee's story is one of not only going after what you want but also willing to fight for it. This story has everything that you could want in a book; comedy, action, drama and of course hot romance (it is a Flora Ferrari book after all). Please don't pass this one up, if you do you will miss a gem.

Jaydee is a 20 year old curvy girl who decided to go to the beach to take some pictures, got caught in a storm while distracted watching a man, and fell off the pier and into the water. Colton is a 40 year old millionaire who volunteers with the surf rescue club who was watching her and saved the drowning Jaydee. They had both felt an instant attraction and Keenan became over the top possessive in the hospital and took her home. They ended up having sex but then her dad and the outside world broke into their relationship. Could their issues be resolved and can Jaydee and Colton find a HEA?
This was to me an over the top instalove story and I give it 2.5 stars. Colton was very possessive and he was almost out of control with his obsession for Jaydee.

This is yet another thoroughly enjoyable insta-everything book from this author. We meet Colton and Jaydee. He’s a hot alpha male that knows what he wants. Despite having a sizable inheritance, he works as a lifeguard. She is shy photographer that gets herself in a spot of trouble. And Colton comes to her rescue. It might be a case of perfect timing. But she ends up saving him in a way too.
They share an instant, mutual attraction, which always starts off as sweet but ends up being something incredibly passionate and steaming hot with amazing chemistry! There are the usual dramas to reel you into the story. But as always, it’s a heart-warming HEA that had me swooning and smirking with the best of them.

Summer Obsession was another smoking hot read by Flora Ferrari! Jaydee is a young woman at the beach taking photos when her life is changed forever when she sees Colton on the beach. She is immediately smitten and she knows she wants him. Colton is a very wealthy volunteer lifeguard with everything he could want except someone to come home to. Until he sees Jaydee. He knows without a doubt, she is the woman he is meant to spend his life with. Just as quickly as he sees her, she is swept off the pier and into the water. After he is able to rescue her, he refuses to leave her side. Jaydee and Colton know they belong together but will Colton's ties to her father rip them apart? 5 stars!

I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. The way this couple meets is definitely original. Jaydee and Colton fall into instalove at first sight and then fate stepped in to nearly separate them before they have a chance at a life together. Colton was awesome. He was sweet, protective, and possessive. Jaydee was also sweet but naive. I loved that they trusted each other right away. Colton and Jaydee were a wonderful couple even with the drama that got started. It resolved quickly, thankfully. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

One hot sexy lifeguard

Colton has just seen the woman of his dreams and he will have her but first needs to rescue her. Jaydee knows she is safe with Colton around even though they have just met but her dad making false accusations gets her pulled away from him. Colton knows he needs to find her he goes back to the place he rescued her. Jaydee walks out of her family home she can’t forgive her dad for what he has done and why. Jaydee needs to get her car but goes to the pier hoping to find Colton who is reaching for her even before they see each other.

Jaydee is an introvert and very shy. After being told by her dad to go out and enjoy the beautiful day and maybe make some friend. She decides to go out never expecting the type of day that about to get handed to her. Colton is on a run on the beach and the minute his eyes fall on Jaydee he know she is the one. After that moment all sorts of craziness occurs. Can Colton accept Jaydee? Will Jaydees father through a wrench in her future with Colton? I love happy ending but this also shows that family can throw a wrench due to unknow grudges.

Flora has done an amazing job through all of her A Man Who Knows What He Wants series. The alpha males who claim their women and the women who claim them. Flora's writing style is one to be enjoyed. Her stories flow smoothly from beginning to end. Her characters may be relatable to some but to most we may never ever see an alpha to that extreme.
Jaydee and Colton's story definitely has some drama, but so worth it in the end. They both seem to have dominant personalities claiming eachother. I would definitely recommend this book.

I was really enjoying this book, then Bam, her dad was so full of himself that I wanted to jump through the pages and go after him myself.
What a selfish man her father was, he took a childhood promise and tried to use it against her new love, but the way he did it was to much. I do not know , that if I was in her shoes that I could forgive him. Her father was a bully and in NO way could he expect to get anything from this man after the way he treated him in their youth.
You just have to read this book to find out what I am talking about, you will not be disappointed!

This story takes you to the beach where our H, the forty year old and very hunky Colton ends up saving the h, sweet and curvy twenty year old Jaydee who ends up falling. Well technically she fell off a pier and almost drowned until Colton dives in to save the woman that he was watching and instantly knew was "the one" he had been waiting for all these years.
This is a fun and wet story that is a great end of summer read.

Flora Ferrari is at it again with Summer Obsession, bringing a whole new meaning to Summer fun.
This book is full action, drama, and romance, and unlike most of her books, part of the drama comes from within the female protagonist's family.
I have read several of Ms. Ferrari's books and I love them more with each book I read. If you haven't read a book by Ms. Ferrari, I suggest you grab Summer Obsession and read it ASAP, you won't be disappointed.

I really loved this quickie insta-love by Flora Ferrari. Its got all the hubba hubba heat that I want from an insta-love quickie and while the heroine is a virgin shes sure as hell not a simpering innocent. Shes full of fire and spirit and fights for her love just as much as her hot older alpha man does. The story is fast paced, the perfect quick read for a cold night curled up in bed with a book - you can go start to finish in a few hours. Its a thumbs up from me.

First off the title for the story is wrong. Obsession is too strong of a word, in my opinion. That being said I liked the characters. The story was somewhat relatable. I think that a grown man carrying a 34 year old grudge over a promise made when he was 6 years old is not realistic. Who expects a child to keep a promise. The climax of the story is also muddled.
I did enjoy the book, it was a fun read.

This well-written, OTT, instant everything, Book 184 in the A Man Who Knows What He Wants Series is a great short story with well-developed characters that fall for each other and have to figure out how to overcome an obstacle. These characters have an age difference that may be an obstacle but if you really love someone does it matter even if it is dangerous. It is a great quick read like all Ferrari stories. A realistic story in actions/reactions and one of my favorites of her short stories.

Another curvy girl gets her happily ever after with a hunky older man. These are some of my favorite books. Love at first sight. Girl sees hot looking man, man sees curvy girl, appreciates those curves, there is some type of discord - usually outside interference - then they have their HEA. Author Flora Ferrari is a master of these types of stories. As a curvy girl myself, I am glad I have her books when I need a quick pick me up. Looking forward to the next one.

Colton is an off duty volunteer lifeguard. Jaydee is on the pier taking pictures of Colton. The wind picks up and blows her sarong. She tries to catch it but is standing near a section of the pier that is missing the railing. She falls in and Colton saves her. There are some other things that happen between Jaydee and Colton as well the both of them and Jaydee's dad. The characters have chemistry. This is a fun summer romance.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Jaydee and Colton. He's an orphan who locked out by being adopted by an affluent older man. Jaydee is a young woman who is on the curvy side and she likes up take pictures. When she stumbles off the pier when taking pictures during a storm, Colton jumps into save her. When he realizes who her father is all craziness breaks loose. Her dad calls the cops on him for kidnapping his daughter. Great HEA in the end.

An absolutely fantastic fast-pace and engaging read! The storyline is well-developed, emotionally deep, well written, and relatable. There are twists and turns, a near drowning, humour, and drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This book took me on one wild ride and kept me captivated until the end. Amazing characters with instant and potent chemistry between them. A lot happened in this book and it is definitely worth the read.
