I will say, this is a TERRIBLE book to check out of the library. This looks really interesting to use, but it is a workbook, meant to be written in and to have things taped inside...so not really feasible to use out of the library.
It looked like it would be fun and that it might help me, so I rated it 3 stars and I will go back and buy a copy when I actually have money to work on my wardrobe. Maybe it's a five star read after all...
I read this book as part of Francesca Amber's Book Club and I didn't take much from it as style is something that I'm already very comfortable with. However, it was a fun, easy read with some great tips that I really think would benefit a lot of people!
Not super useful as a library book because it truly is a workbook, but I think even as a quick read it will throw some stuff at the back of my mind. But definitely recommend a purchase of a print edition if you want to get actual use out of it.
This is a good book but be ready to put in some time and work. This is really more of a workbook than anything but does have some good info if you want to skim it.
This is more about the writer than the reader. Lots of self-help mumbo-jumbo and contradictory advice: overcome self-limiting beliefs AND don’t wear tight jeans over 40. DNF
Absolutely excellent, I am reading this as June's book with my book club run by Francesca Amber, come join!! - I am looking forward to implementing some of these ideas. There will be a daily podcast to hold us accountable. So I shall be re-reading through the month! I am most focussed on allowing enough time and building outfits ahead of the day!
