“I always get away.”

Travis Lloyd is just barely getting by. He works maintenance at the Indigo Hotel in Eastport and he supports his sister and his three year old nephew. His parents both died when he was sixteen, leaving him in the guardianship of a sister who was never able to take care of herself. The only thing that has mattered to Travis is looking out for his nephew Chance. Chance is a very special little boy and Travis would never allow anything to happen to him. His sister Hanna uses this against him to get what she wants. Hanna doesn’t care who she hurts as long as she gets everything she wants. Travis doesn’t know how much longer can he hold on, that is until Koa Raine steps into his life. He’s watched Koa from afar. They both work at the Indigo Hotel and Travis could help being distracted by the powerful looking man. He’s watched as Koa has had conquest after conquest and wonders when Koa will notice him, if he ever would. What Travis doesn’t know is that there is more to Koa than meets the eye and Travis is exactly the kind of man Koa has been waiting for. It’s taken some time for their paths to cross, but their lives would never be the same.

Koa Raine gets around. He never makes any promises, but he doesn’t deny himself either. He won’t get into a relationship with anyone, waiting for his fate destined mate to come along, but that doesn’t mean he’s a monk. What he doesn’t know is that for the past eight months his mate has been right under his nose, walking the halls on the night shift at the Indigo Hotel. What he also doesn’t know is that this man has observed his conquests. Can he gain Travis’ trust? Will Travis allow him to help him when he needs it most? Can he welcome a partner and a child into his life? Koa will move heaven and earth to be with his mate.

Protection Needed

Really enjoyed this third book in the Bay Harbor Wolves series. The new characters introduced tugged at your heartstrings while some very unpleasant - down right unsavory folks slithered out with their wretched behaviors and words creating havoc, fear, and despair. If two people ever needed saving more it was a young maintenance man & his toddler nephew. The best possible person was chosen - a tough hotel security guard and Wolf Pack Enforcer.

Sometimes your past comes back to haunt. For a muscular handsome security guard he had his choice of conquests. All one night ups - with ready made hookup locations - their hotel rooms. Some wanted more, but there were many others available for the pickings. But imagine his shock when he discovered his mate had noticed him sneaking / creeping out of rooms after midnight on several occasions.

How could he convince this important man - his mate that he was not just another notch on his bed post? Would he ever gain his complete trust?

A good addition to the series

This is the story of one of the pack enforcers finding his mate working maintenance at the pack owned hotel. Travis, a human is in a bad situation taking real abuse from his sister in order to protect his nephew a darling three year old. His mother is neglectful and uses the child to get money from Travis while physical and emotional rage is escalating. The enforcer, Koa, realizes the child is half wolf and steps in to protect them both. The pack and it's Alpha work to give us our hea. A beautiful book and quite enjoyable despite some editing issues such as misspellings and extra or missing words. Just go with the flow as I will with more of the series.

Travis is 19 and trapped with his nasty sister who takes all his money and treats him abominably. His sister, Hanna is the mother of Charlie, who she loathes and is abusive to. Travis protects his nephew from her and works to sustain them all because she doesn't work or provide any support for them.
Koa is enforcer to Bay Harbor Wolves pack and finds Travis is his mate. Koa takes Travis and Chance home with him and the Pack sets about removing Chance and Travis from Hanna's clutches via the law and persuasion.
This is another sweet romance relationship between human and shifter, adding the child to the mix makes it even better.

I must add this one is 3.5 stars.

Loves it

I loved that Henrik may be a powerful Alpha and Derek is deadly and a force to be reckoned with but a new pup in their home made them protective and showed they were also compassionate.
I think the problem with Koa was he started out as a player but when he found his mate he at least felt some guilt for how he acted. I like that Seamus ribbed Koa about it but also took him to task about his behavior.
I enjoy the different quirky personalities; I usually can’t wait to see when the next book will come out.

I really enjoyed the relationship between Koa and Travis and even Travis' nephew, Chance. The plot truly held my attention and I enjoyed the way Koa swooped in and helped Travis and Chance, saving and changing their lives forever. It was beautiful. The ending was sweet and very satisfying especially where Hanna was concerned. I'm looking forward to reading this author's next book. This was marvelous. Loved it.

Delightful

I have to say that Henrik was much nicer to Hanna than I think I could have been. I loved how Koa immediately focused on Travis and his happiness once he learned of his mate. I also liked that, from the first, we knew that even his philandering was purposeful so that he wouldn't have attachments when he finally met his mate.

As mentioned in another review, I LOVE this author. The Bay Wolves series is a delight. This book was better edited than Blood Sacrifice (Vampires of Blood and Bones #7), so not hard to follow. There were a few typos/grammatical errors, but way less that the other book. Hopefully, the editing will continue to get better.

Predictable with subtle hints

Not surprisingly the book predictable but it has subtle tones of misogyny, colorism, and is basic at best. The author clearly is not well traveled and is enveloped in a world of white homosexual dominant and submissive characters.
What a waste of time and money.

I have yet to read something by this author that I don't like. Enforcer was an short easy read that had my favorite characters--shifter with kids. Storyline was interesting with the problem in Travis' family life. Loved the way that Travis' nephew responded to the alphas. All in all I really enjoyed reading this.

Enforcer: Bay Harbor Wolves Vol. 3

B. A. Streake this series is the first of your books I’ve read. I love the storylines and the paranormal, of course. Normally I look over editing errors and keep reading, but I think you need to know about them. I’m about to start book 4 so here I go.

Reads to fast

Books appears to be written with more attention to deadline than content. I enjoyed the book but it was waterscapes to rushed. It also skipped around. Such as what happened to Florian. A man like that wouldn't have just left when told to.
Sorry not the best.

I didn't like this one. I mean, Koa had sex with Florian one day, and sex with Kevin THE NEXT DAY. I thought that would be more of an issue than it was. I would've at least asked the dude to take a shower and wash his dick off. Gross.

2.5 This was too short to make much of an impact or sense. Shifters fall fast for their mates but this was to much of a "hello", "i love you", they barely knew each other's names.

Still enjoying the series even though they are very short and unrealistic at times. They are easy to follow and a book you don’t have to think much about whilst reading.

Koa and Travis I think are my favorite couple in this series so far. Travis sister is a bitch and didn’t deserve Travis or Chance in his life. Chance being a wolf shifter and bonding with Koa and the rest of the pack is so cute.

Quick read

I enjoyed this fast paced no angst fated mates story. It was nice to read a story with a child in it, unusual for this author but nicely done.
