A dark, prison, bully reverse harem

Humans are innocent until proven guilty.
Supernaturals were held to a higher standard. By possessing abilities with great power, we were guilty until proven innocent.
It kept our crime rate lower, but it also sentenced people to a purgatory that wasn't easily endured.
As the daughter of the greatest drug lord in our city, it didn't come as a shock when I was one of the prime suspects for my father's murder.
Prison didn't bother me because I knew something worse. Trauma came in many forms.
They called me the sheltered princess.
They had no idea I had already burned in Hell.

WARNING: This book contains dark themes of violence, drugs and abuse. Please read at your own discretion. A F/F scene can be completely skipped in Chapter 19. A M/M moment is witnessed in Chapter 21.

Sing, Canary... holy cow! Lyra the FMC is full of contradictions but she fits each piece into her like the perfect jigsaw puzzle. With murder, mystery, finding ones self and accepting the darkest parts; Lyra is a bada** extraordinaire. Shmexy partners galore with some definitely having to grovel, part 1 of this duet is shaping up to be as intriguing as Lyra herself is. Who dun it? How will it go when some her partners realize they can have her, or maybe not? Lyra will take us on a great ride in part 2 that’s for sure.

Heartbreaking and Beautiful

Poor Lyra! Wowza! This book was very hard for me to put down, and I was left wanting to know how Lyra can recover, where the guys and Simone will fit in her life, who murdered her father, and so much more. So, um, I’m going to need the next book ASAP- please!

A promising new duet

I devoured this book in like 2 hours. I couldn’t get enough of Lyra. She is a strong woman to go through what she has and still push on. I’m excited to read everything that comes in book 2!
