I had originally read Luke's first book on his one page planner (which I recommend) and decided to sign up for his email list. I liked his approach. It wasn't an arrogant approach to business like many are. Rather, he suggests watching where the money is flowing and putting your business in alignment with that flow. This is a philosophy I agree with because I've seen it work. I've also seen businesses fail when they've forgotten this philosophy.
Luke later sent an email looking for beta readers for book 2, and I jumped at the chance. While the first 25% was a good rehash of some of Luke's experiences also mentioned in book 1, the rest was a continuation of the next steps to building a business with his philosophy. What is different was this book had several links to videos that added to the book. Those videos were a great compliment to book 2.
As I gave my thoughts to Luke, I've come to believe something else. Luke really cares about people. He wants his customers to succeed. He does offer other services that he makes known in this book, but they are not in any way a detraction. In fact, his approach is refreshing. I myself have given considerable thought to his other services because of it.
So, I did receive a free copy of this book to leave an honest review. It's the next steps in his business execution process, so there will be more to follow. I for one am glad to add these books to my collection, and I'm looking forward already to book 3.
This book is full of commonsense ideas to help readers lay proper foundation for successful business. The Author, with case studies, show example of business models that work .
Never start that business without thorough understanding of the concepts in this book!
This is a great book. In fact, I had to buy the first one too.
Why I liked it? It was a quick read and had easy to follow steps with relatable case studies. Surprisingly, this book also included videos that reinforce what I was learning in the book. They were short, concise, and a great way to absorb the information.
There was a workbook with the video series. I like to write things down to help me organize my thoughts and get a solid plan together. This helped me with that.
Bottom Line: This book will show you how to get new customers, design faster selling products, and create a hook and upsell. And it walks you through creating the actual plan. It’s not just theory.
Great investment. I recommend it to any entrepreneur, especially now.
Second book I've read by Luke. You don't need a degree from business school to grasp his concepts. Never hurts to review the basics! If you're starting a lemonade stand or already have employees, his books can be beneficial.
