A short book of tales living in Dade County in the 1970s. It's a book of a very narrow view, mostly focused upon Third Court. No background of the area and nearly no description of the actual setting of the apartment lot. The photos helped, but the reader should be aware this is just collection of very short stories.

The short stories are OK, but, collectively, not really worth reading. What would've helped was expanding the stories, ad doing more and far more extensive location information.

Most lacking is giving background to the couple central to the book. There's a sketchy explanation of moving from Detroit and minor bits of jobs they had. Not connecting to the couple made connecting to the stories difficult.

Bottom line: I don't recommend this book. 4 out of 10 points.
