One morning, when I came down to breakfast, I found the following letter on my plate—
The Nunnery, Wednesday
Dear Jack—What are you doing with yourself? Have come here for a few days, but find the place most terribly dull, only mother and Alice being here. Can't you come down for a long weekend and amuse three lonely females? I am writing at mother's suggestion. Do come.
Yours ever
MAUD
'I've been wanting you badly, my lover!—Oh, so badly—and I told mother that either you must come to me or I must go to you! She didn't like your having me under her own roof. I didn't want to go up to town. A sudden idea struck me. As you know, Jack, mother is still a young woman—I get my hot temperament from her, and I know how she hates her lonely bed! And she loves you, Jack! So I slipped my arm round her, and whispered coaxingly: “Look here, mummy, let us get Jack down and . . . share him!” She blushed like a schoolgirl. “Mummy,” I again whispered— “you know you want. . . something . . . very badly, just as badly as I do!”—she quivered responsively—“Won't you let me get it for you?”— again she blushed deeply— “Come, mummy darling, share Jack with me!” And I kissed her and kept whispering to her, till she murmured, “Very well, my darling—it's sweet of you! If Jack is willing it shall be as you wish!” There, sir, what do you say?'

Yiiiiikes. I challenged myself to read more erotica so I took this out from the library. Ya the incesty stuff was icky and honestly I was quite bored by the end of it. 2 stars because I guess I finished it?
No rating as it really has no plot except the aforementioned weekend. In these times it doesn't even pass the pornography threshold, so all you really get is a badly written period piece.
Another Wordsworth classic erotica, fairly tame compared to the others, except for the incest and the lesbianism, which didn’t turn me on a bit. But it seems as though men find it a big turn on and that’s the audience it was not double written for in its day. There isn’t a real plot other than a man Jack invited to spend a weekend with three women and then also invited to have each one of them sexually – a 39year old widow, her 2 year old daughter (also a widow) and her 18 year old ward, a virgin. It’s decided the virgin will just watch the first night before being deflowered on the second night. Just prior to that Jack asks Alice the virgin to marry him to evidently preserve her virtuous reputation and she then makes him promise that after their marriage he will continue to sexually satisfy the other two women – oh yeah, this was definitely a male fantasy.
Wow, this is an extremely erotic book. The era was very strict Victorian and so the writing bares the language of that time. The contrast of strict Victorian versus the sex between three women and one man makes this book even more erotic. This man had to have a vacation from his country weekend with these three hot single women. I do like to read menage books but this one was more than a naughty romp in the country.
though the literary techniques are wonderful throughout this book yes, but ohmygod i was not expecting this to be erotica. i saw it on libby and went for it! definitely should have read the blurb before reading this 🥹😅 but in saying that i did like this book! which is very unlike me to say the least! 3.5 from me!
What a horrible day to have the ability to read :’) literally only read this because I needed to hit my Goodreads challenge and it was the only short thing available on Libby. I wish I could erase every second of this “book” from my memory.
Here is an another word, disturbing. The author is truly demented and has written a book containing sexual acts between a man and three women, who are mother, daughter and "niece". With scenes between the mother and daughter pleasuring one another. I wish i never started to read this Ebook.

If you want a good quick thrill read this is for you. Only if you like a mother/daughter thing. Which I had no idea that was in here. Not my cup of tea.
