The Vampire Trials Complete Series. 152k words of vampire steam! For the last hundred years humans have been at the bottom of the food chain since the rise of supernaturals, and in our city vampires rule the roost. In a city divided into three different triads, each section is ruled by a vampire governor who is fit to do as he pleases.
To keep their subjects in line every five years they do a purge where every adult man is fair game for any vampire to feed on for twenty-four hours. To determine which triads need to participate in the purge and which one will be exempt, three people from each triad are summoned to partake in a sick and twisted game to survive. The winner gets to guarantee safety for their community.
The losers die. For years I had kept my head down, followed every triad law, and focused on keeping my mother alive. But an announcement that women will now be included in the summoning turns my world upside down.
The first person to be summoned from triad three is me. I came into this prepared to fight for my life, but what I didn't expect was the Governors’ three vampire sons’ supernatural attraction to me.
In the Vampire Trials only one thing matters to me- getting home to my mom. And when I say I'd do anything to get there, I mean it.

I think this series has so much potential, but there were too many holes in the building of the world and too many distracting grammatical errors. If you are looking for a story that has a little plot between sex scenes this may be what you’re looking for. I just have so many questions. Why mention the drug ICE as if it is a major plot point plaguing the city if it ends up just being something shoved aside? There wasn’t any time for the reader to properly grasp why the Trials were such a big deal as the “training” was cut short. Then the actual trials were extremely short. Then Scarlett, who is raised by people hunting and hating vampires, just all of a sudden is soft on three of them? No real hesitation, just ‘awe they are misunderstood’ then ‘let’s have sex’. Then there is the part where Scarlett looks exactly like a dead witch, and then it’s never mentioned again? Then the trapped angel/hunter who really was only good for the dagger that they needed, why was Scarlett jumping into his hunter trapper in her dreams, because she has demon blood? I’m bummed that the world, the characters, and the plot wasn’t more thoroughly thought out. This really could be a great great series with some time world building. Colt was the most thought out character and seemed to be the one with the best overarching character development.

This is one awesome read! As a PNR author myself I respect tf out of this because it is not typical, but still true to paranormal. The vampire has been twisted and bent to fit so many boxes that at times it gets old and tiring. This wasnt. This was everything right in this genre and I'm sort excited for more! Great read!
What to say about this series? I loved it, then I HATED it, then I loved it again. In a way, we have the same character mix we do with most of these reverse harem stories; the brooding one, the dark passion one, the sweet innocent one, you know the drill. But I wasn’t mad at it here. While I loved some of her guys more than others (I am SOLIDLY Team Colt), I really liked them all. They each brought something different to our heroine, Scarlett, and to the storyline. We also don’t meet them all at the same time. She picks up some new guys as her journey progresses. And there’s a few surprising ones. Seriously, at one point I’m thinking “Doesn’t she think she has enough men? Sweetheart, just say no.”
The storyline is interesting. I did think it lagged a bit in the 2nd book, it definitely picked up again. There’s some twists that I did not see coming and a few heartbreaking ones too.
This series also desperately needs a good editing. There were so many misspelled, and missing, words, some awkward sentences, and a few where I had to reread a few times to get what it was supposed to say. Even so, I do recommend this book. The author manages to throw in some unexpected twists, which is always a win in my book.
I feel like reading the first book it kind of just moved so quickly there was no time to really process any details about what was happening around the main character. Boom she was selected, then boom she's in the house, then boom she's meeting all the Governor's sons (which she hated but lusted over?) then boom she's in the trials, it goes to shit, sex, sex, all a happy family she loves them. All of these books I've read in a day and I skimmed because I feel like it was needless words.
The second book I barely remembered because it was a lot of inner monologue. Like I get you have to build up a characters personality but all I thought was "The wind could blow and her cl*t would jump". I liked how the men where like very much present in this book which brings me to book 3.
They must've went on vacation mid trial because I barely read them talk. She was mostly with Asher (And she had no hesitation doing him) and then Cole. I think putting out that she was pregnant was cringe but I hope another book comes out so I can see how it ends up. It wasn't a bad series it was very interesting to read.

Surprising, didn’t fully reveal itself til the end.
Found the author on TicTok and I was curious how good the books were. Downloaded this trilogy to start, and wasn’t disappointed. The plot flows well, and the character development is on point. I like that the author didn’t fully reveal all the “goodies” until closer to the end. It’s always disappointing when an author doesn’t develop their character with depth, but this author did very well. There is one grammatical thing I would change, and I believe it is in the second book, the chapter starts with a phrase about a bus “slowly slowed down”. I would recommend changing slowed to instead be something like inched to a stop. Just a thought...
This book set was good.... Not great but good... It could definitely benefit from having a developmental editor give it a good once over. The story is interesting but the pacing is off in a few places, the smutty sex scenes are good, but I feel like there are places for improvement. Over all I really liked it , I couldn't put it down and I am going to follow the author i think the more she writes the better her books will be. I can't wait to see what's next.... I just wish the book was a bit more polished so it really loved up to the potential.
Omg where do I start this book had me addicted after the first chapter, not only does it have a badass heroine as the main character but her men are all sexy as hell and badass in their own ways, I fell in love with them right along with scarlet. This series is so packed full of action, heartache, love , steaminess and suspense that you don’t wanna put it down, I devoured it and I need more, can’t wait for the rest of the story.
at first its hard to get into you think of the hunger games in the back of your mind. but it gets good/sexy real fast. its a pretty fast read. its set in the future the city of New York ruled by 3 vampire governors. Scarlet is trying to over throw the trials, she is the first female brought in to the trial. there are vampires, witches, demons, and mermaids...its a fast read, you get into the story line. I don't want to give any spoilers.
So you’re telling me there isn’t at least another part to this ? This is the first series I’ve read from you and I absolutely loved every minute of it . I loved the supernatural elements, the sex (AMAZING), literally everything was greattt! But girl, I need more . I want more . At least one more like come onnn. I need to know what a Angel, demon, mermaid, witch mix is gonna look like and how the hell it manages it’s powers .
A great end to a unique and interesting story. It had its flaws but the over arching plot made up for its short comings. I'm a greedy reader and really would have liked more of the back story, more of everything really. I feel like the plot had so much potential and the Author barely scratched the surface. I'm intrigued to read the spin off.
I loved this book the wording, themes, descriptions all of it! It was amazing I love reading lots of supernatural books but this one was the cherry on top! I won’t spoil the book but you’re definitely in for a steamy wild ride.
So in this series by Storm you get multiple hook ups, fights out the wazoo, and friendships with love above all else. Scarlett, Colt, Finn, Drax, Max, and Asher are the weird mixed up family of supernaturals you didn't know you needed.
Finished the entire series over 2 days, couldn't put my kindle down. Just wish the series was longer and we got more of an insight at the end about what's going to happen now they're staying in the underworld and Scarlett 's pregnancy.

This series had me hooked from the very beginning!
This series follows a young woman named Scarlett in a world that is run by Vampires. She is an only child who takes care of her wheelchair bound, sickly mother. Every year a gauntlet known as the Vampire Trials is ran in New York City. They select two humans at random from every faction to represent the faction they live in. Whichever faction wins is off limits to the purge that the vampires get to run after, killing any man without any type of consequences for the next 24 hours. This year, they expanded to add women and the only one picked is Scarlet. In the fight of her life, she meets some unexpected allies and makes sure that the world knows who she is.
This story will have you sitting at the edge of your seat wanting to know what's coming next. It's filled with death, blood, and lots of steamy sex!
Okay i love the story concept and want more! I did feel at times like i had missed a page or chapter. I feel like i was reading a first draft almost. But i still loved the story i want more! It was perfectly steamy too!
I am in love with the Vampire Trials! The author did amazing creating such amazing world and unique and intriguing. I wish there was more of these guys.
Just finished the books. I loved the flow of the story. Kept me interested from start to finish. Liked the characters immensely. Can’t wait to read the follow book.
These books are pretty much standard fare. They're not bad they're not good there just Bland. Good way to waste a few hours then nothing to write home about.
These books had some great spice, but there were some times when the writing seemed over the top. Overall, I enjoyed the books, though. It's very reminiscent of a Hunger Games for vampires.
3.5 The plot was good but the writing style didn't really click for me. The smutty parts were well written a and I didn't find them cringe, but I was lacking in the tension and buildup that I enjoy. I feel like the story and concept has so much potential though!
