I was once that teenager too scared to ask the cute girl to the prom, thinking she would laugh and reject me. I thought I wasn't good enough, always wondering what was wrong with me. Too many zits, didn't drive a nice car, wasn't cool, tough or worthy enough to date my dream girl. Senior year of high school I'd lay on my bed and wonder what my life would be like in the future. I still hadn't landed a girlfriend at this point. Most of my friends had girlfriends and allegedly gotten laid already and I doubted I ever would.
