Great resource for learning to can

I was interested in canning stuff from our garden, but I had no idea where to start. This book is just what I was looking for. I liked that it started with the basics like how important sterilizing all your pieces is and what equipment you will need. I also liked the step by step directions for pressure canning. Pressure canning can be dangerous if not done properly, so these clearly written step by step directions is so important. Then the book is packed with yummy recipes so you can can more than just vegetables. But now you can put away soups, meat and sauces. Overall, very pleased with this book.

Yummy recipes

As some one who has grown-up canning, I found the instructions simple and easy to understand even if I was a beginner. There are many recipes from your basic green beans, corn and tomatoes to soup and broths. I'm excited to try my hand at the soup recipes.
