I really enjoyed “The Time Capture.” Annie Hoad is such a great storyteller. Her main character, Kaida Hummingtree, grew up in a peaceful household, and just when she hoped to start learning the wonderful secrets of Time Capture, she was suddenly thrown into the most terrifying life-threatening situation. What Kaida has to face is both heartstopping and thrilling. I loved this fast-moving and brilliantly plotted page-turner, and it would definitely make a fantastic film.

Different and well written
Although this book is written about teenagers it definitely has a more mature feel to it. A very imaginative storyline and great story telling. Kaida and Wren were in some very challenging situations which they somehow managed to get through.
I found it very hard to put down and will definitely read more by this author.
