Insta-love and quite hot. Loved the three epilogues and that even after 18 years of being married, they are still very much attracted to one another.
Micah (35) and Violet (23) met when his driver almost ran her over. They both got out of the car to see what happened and check on the person they almost hit. But love at first kicked in, and right then and there, Micah saw his future, and he would stop at nothing to have her. He didn't really have to work that hard to win her because Violet was smitten just as he was.
Anyway, this was obviously fast-paced, but I enjoyed it and the insta-love trope. I'm also happy for the dual virgin part. 😂

Violet has had a tough few months since she let her brother move in with her, its hell on earth and he stole from her. Now shes running late and gets hit by a limo and meets Micah, who's shirtless from hot coffee, already hes acting like a OTT alpha making sure to take her to the hospital, firing his assistant who tried to put the moves on him. As for Violet shes confused and suprise a guy like Micah would even take a glance at her. She tries to push away but it doesnt work on Micah nope he found his one true love and won't let her go no matter the drama she thinks she brings.

Loved the crazy possessive hero and the sweet heroine. Totally safe: not sure if they were virgins, but there is no cheating, no OM or OW drama, just drama with her asshole brother. Adorable epilogue with 6 kids and jealous hero!

You never know love until you literally run into it! Ms Steele has done it again! I loved Heat so much I couldn’t put it down it was short had sweet heartwarming moments and a little dirty to tie it all together. I loved Violet and Micah and I loved their story!

Sweet Hot Love Story
This was a sweet hot steamy read about Micah and Violet. Loved their interaction and banter. Once Micah set his eyes on Violet, there was no turning back. Their chemistry was off the charts. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this beautiful, yummy love story. This was definitely instalove and so instahot. Love this series and I can't wait to read more by CM Steele.

Micah literally crashes into his future.

The moment he sees Violet he knows she's going to be his wife. This is a quick, fun, sexy read and I highly recommend it!

I first picked this up in Feb 2021 and DNF'ed. Somehow came across it again and decided to give it another try. That was a mistake. The writing is choppy and there is not enough sentence variation. A large majority of the sentences start with "I" and it quickly becomes clear that the writing does not flow. There's unnecessary slut-shaming and other strange things (i.e. The hero has an assistant who tries to wrongly accuse him of sexual assault when he fires her for being incompetent and unprofessional.). They go to the hospital and Micah happens to be shirtless. "The doctor gives Micah a strange look and says. “Nice physique, but this is a hospital not a porn set. Do you have a shirt?”" (p. 13) That's such a weird thing to say.
The tone of the story and the characters' personalities felt immature.
"Digging through my purse again, I look for my bus card. I kiss the plastic with gratefulness since I can’t get to my job without it. I am thankful that I don’t keep the card in my wallet. I stuff it into my short pocket, and I pull out a wash and dried ten dollar bill." (p. 6)
"Someone steps out from the back of the limo as I try to keep balanced. A mere second later, I’m in the handsome stranger’s arms. I brush my hand to his chest for stability, and he’s shirtless. I dart my eyes up and release a sigh. Perfectly made, strong chin, just a hint of dark facial hair, and suddenly I feel weak." (pp. 6-7)

Violet is having a bad morning, she running late and realizes her younger brother who is hooked on drugs has stolen from her again. She runs out into the street and get hit by a limo, out pops Micha, he’s shirtless because hot coffee spilled on him. He sees Violet and is instantly in love, he takes her to the hospital to be treated. He goes all OTT alpha on her and she doesn’t mind. Once released from hospital Micha takes her to lunch where she gets a call from her brother. She leaves the restaurant and head to her apartment, her brother strung out on drugs attacks her. Micha arrives just in time to save her and pummels her brother and takes her to his hotel room. Micha has been very vocal about marring Violet and being a tech genius he hacks the system and it shows them already married. Some sexy times and then a phone call from the police, her brother turns out to be a serial killer and Violet was next on his list. Once all that is sorted out the two go to Chicago and live happily ever after. Three epilogues, nine months, five years, and twelve years, with lots of sexy times and kids.
There was to much going on in the book, the deceitful admin, the serial killer brother, Violet getting hurt constantly, and the noisy mother. Could have been a very good story with just one drama theme. It was nice that Violet didn’t fight Micha at every little thing.

Whew, the chemistry between Violet and Micah is intense. I love the Gimme series, there is no hesitation in the heroes. They always go to any lengths for the woman that has captured their heart. Violet is in a sticky situation with her brother and she just wants to have a good life, drama free. Then she gets hit by a limo and it turns into the best day of her life. Micah had no intention of getting involved with anyone. He had his career and that was that. But the grind was getting to him so he planned some time off after he finishes this deal. On the way there his driver hits someone. When he sees Violet its all over. Every plan, every idea he had for the future is all wrapped up in her now. So sexy and over the top, I loved it! I hope we see more like this from Ms Steele, the Gimme series is the best!

Heat is book five in the ‘’gimme’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Violet is having a bad day. That bad day becomes worse when she gets hit by a limo. Micah wants Violet as soon as he meets her. He knows she is the woman for him and is determined to claim his girl.
The chemistry between Micah and Violet is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple. I liked how protective and possessive Micah was of his woman.
I really like the ending and the epilogue for this story.

What can I saw...Violet is just too sweet for words and Micah is all Alpha.
Violet is struggling to make in life, all the while trying to be a good sister to the only family she has left. Too bad he is a total douche-waffle and cruel too book.
When Winston, (Micah’s driver) accidentally hit her with the Limo, we meet the sexy, hot as hades, alpha male that is Micah. For a man who is seen ass the antisocial a**hole, seeing Violet hurt snaps something inside him and his protectiveness comes out full force.
What I love about this story, was that it was not all sexy time and had some meat on the bones. I truly enjoyed this aspect of it. The epilogues are just the icing on the cake. Mj and Owen as going to be a fun book if it happens.

Running late ends in true love.
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although at times I wasn’t sure who was saying what. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. I’m glad that Matthew got what he deserved. Violet was used to surviving on her own and wasn’t a stranger to being kicked in the teeth while doing so. She was still sweet and sassy. Micah was feeling like it was time for a break. He was tired of trying to jus make more and more money. When Violet and Micah met, they were instantly drawn to each other. The attraction was definitely mutual and explosive. Micah and Violet’s romance was over the top instalove with plenty of steam. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

I adored this short romance. I thought it was so well done for a short story and the characters had the perfect amount of depth to them. Micah and Violet make the perfect couple and it’s so adorable how protective Micah is of Violet.
I love these types of stories where they fall in love quite quickly but some are not very well done, however, this book was just the right amount of Violet questioning if their relationship was too fast and Micah promising her the world but living up to his promise as well. You could see how much love for one another there was and it’s just so adorable. I loved it!!

This is a complete insta-love novella. Violet is running late for work and steps out in front of Micah's limo. He rushes out of the back to see what happened and is instantly smitten. I really, really enjoyed this book. I can't believe Violet's brother was attempting to kill her. She should have told Micah about him when she was hit by his limo. Leaving him at the restaurant had been a bad idea. Luckily he followed her and got to her in time before her brother hurt her.

Great book. Micah knew what he wanted once his limo hit Violet by accident. He paid all her doctor bills and wouldn't let her out of his sight. She learned to trust him and since her brother was a druggie she was safe with Micah he made sure of it. The ended up married and had 6 kids
