Oh damn! I loved this one. I will go with 4.5 stars. This book picks up right where the previous one left off. Ayida goes to attend the meeting requested by the heads of the family. Here, we as readers, get to meet them for the first time and boy, do they make an impression. A lot of changes occur, the plot and the mysteries twisting and turning further, to take us deeper into this dark and dangerous world Ayida lives in.
The sex scenes were off-the-charts hottt! We get to know more about the guys' history which also contributes in the cold- shower-inducing steamy scenes. I loved how Ayida tries to become what Holder NEEDS, to satisfy his sexual needs. Needless to say, Ayida is a sexy Domme and an even sexier partner to all the guys. The way their relationship progresses was amazing to see, especially with Holder.
Ayida's manic, psychopathic side was awesome to witness. Now now, I am not crazy but I sure like bloodlust when a dark book is involved and yesss, Ayida filled it to the brim and more. I was grinning like a mad person after 60% in in the book. And damn, MJ has done some serious research into "stuff" that totally rocked this book for me.
I just wish I could see Ayida suffering mentally a little because of her killings, which was something I was strongly expecting as I also mentioned in my review of the last book.
Along with all this steam, there was an amazing plot to accompany. There are lot of mysteries that Ayida needs to unravel about the Aseninos, Holder's Dad and her own mother's death all while satisfying four supremely hot guys. Y'all are in for a wild ride!!

Damn is it hot in here or is it just the steam from this book. This picks off right were book one left off. Ayida is being brought into the heads of the family to become one herself. As usual she pulls no punches and immediately begins her quest to find out who was behind her mothers murder. With the guys by her side and some new badass accomplices she begins her quest for the truth.
Even if you care not for the plot read this for the sexy scenes. Seriously MJ brought let the kink come out to play. Holder as usual is my favorite character of the bunch. It is rare to see a Strong yet submissive male lead especially in a RH book. There is even a smattering of some MM action ;)
Ayida brings along her quirky and sassy comebacks. Its definitely good that she has a harem to keep up with her because she is just an adorable ball of crazy badass. With pockets ya know for guns and bacon snacks.

This is a hard driving balls to the wall mafia dark read. It’s action packed and full of graphic violence written gleefully. The writing draws you right into the Louisiana mind set with authentic dialogue and world building. It’s also hot as a a Louisiana summer. The harem in this book will melt your kindle and the FMC is as sharp as a knife and hard as a rock while still being able to love her men with a whole heart. The ending is a cliffhanger sure but I’ll be waiting in line to get the final book when it comes. Outstanding job!

Great sequal. The additional characters and further development of the existing ones is amazing for this story. I would love to hear more from this rag-tag group. Well done!

Wow!!! Ayida became what her father was. Not many people liked it. Secrets were revealed and revenge was served. She has the love and respect of her men. Bumps and rescue happens and friendships are made. Like people say she rules with a iron fist. Can’t wait to read more.

What can I say about this book??? That I absolutely loved it. So many things happened and so many questions answered.Blue and the sons gear up for another mission of revenge and revenge never tasted so sweet but that cliffhanger ending was absolutely epic . Goddess I love Donut 😉

I wish i could give this book more than 5 stars!!!
Well i thought you couldnt top Reborn in Blue (the 1st book in this series) but my god i was wrong. Purgatory in Pink just completely knocked me out but this series just keeps getting better and better. Ayida (FMC) is a force of nature with her bad*** self who has her own way of dealing with things. With wise cracks, violence and plenty of blood. Now with the opportunity to be part of the Saupoudrer Syndicate Ayida finds that the knives all come out and some are more closer to home. Ones that involve one that she loves. A mixture of dark, seductive and steamy scenarios. This book keeps you gripped. Its a great joyride of a book that you'd happily stay on. I just loved it. Bring on book 3 now. I cant wait to get my hands on it

I received an ARC for this book.
I loved this book. It was a wild ride. I like when they start off right after the previous one did and this one did. It begins with her going to the big meeting with the big wig families and I was just loving how confident she was in that aspect. I also loved how it showed a lot of the other character developments with the lesser characters and I hope we get a spin-off..
I wanted to go through the book and kick some of their asses but hence she did a good job all on her own. I love the bloodlust she has throughout this one and I love loved loved the relationship that was built between her and the guys but especially Holder.
It is written with the intention of it being southern and it does have that great twang..I can just see her in my head and that always means a good book for me.
If you like a wild ride to include a big mafia-style book and really steamy sex scenes then this is the book for you.

There were many twists and turns, and they kept me on the edge of my seat while reading this. This book was a wild ride, and I loved every minute of it. Many hot and steamy scenes.
We got many answers in this book, but there are still a few left unanswered.
Love the characters in this series. They are total badasses, and the FMC takes no crap from anyone.
Purgatory in Pink ends in a cliffhanger, and it left me wanting more. Can't wait for the next book. I would definitely recommend this series.

Ayida, has taken a beat down, thankfully she’s a straight up savage bitch and has a giant “fuck around and find out” vibe that I just LOVE!
This book so far is my favorite out of the 3, which I am moving onto #3 next so that one may become the new favorite.
This one has a lot to unpack, so many things happen, and unfold, and just holy smokes. This one was a lot more graphic s3xually and vi0lently (they deserved it!).
I don’t think I’ve read a book (just me personally) where a male in the book weather he be in the herem or it be a M/F book be a sub and I am not going to lie…I rather enjoyed it! This is for sure a women empowerment book. They don’t need the men but they sure do enjoy their company and support!
I was not expecting the MM in this but I will take it for sure, can’t go wrong with a good MM action during a group scene!

Hilarious and hot. Those are the first words that come to mind when I think of this book. Hilarious because Blue has the best sense of humor ever, and Fletcher too. Their dirty mouth make me laugh every damn time. And hot because come on, this book has some serious steamy scenes that are scorching hot 🔥
It was an awesome book, the drama, the blood, the craziness, it was perfect. I loved the characters, the guys are amazing, they act though but are so sweet to Blue. And the Blue Demon is a sassy badass bitch that was born to rock the fucking world with her men. That ending was super funny and left me craving for the next book 💙

Well I really liked the first book it’s great getting to know the characters I love how badass the heroine is ! But on this book I felt like the story was just dragging for sooooo Loooong !!!! Don’t get me wrong I LOVE a steamy book really , but this book felt like 70% sex scenes ! They have sex every other second, everytime it’s getting good and we get on with the action they go on and have sex again 🙄 doesn’t matter where they are there could be 100 dead bodies around them they would still sex in a puddle of blood !

Good continuation of the story.
Ayida has been made one of the heads of the family but she over hears Holds dad and knows hes dirty.
Dante is dating Winnie who’s holders sister. He’s also a gang member.
While they look further into Holders dad - Winnie’s get kidnapped by her own dad!!
They go get her than she realised she is love with Dante and her two bodyguards aug and bastion.
I’m hoping there’s a series with them.
Also introduces Ahmya who is part of the yakuza. Again she would be good to read more about.
The story end with her being pregnant which is defo not my favourite troupe!

Wow!!! Ayida picks up her fathers mantel and not just runs with it she completely owns it. of course not everyone likes the idea especially when secrets and betrayal are revealed. fortunately she has four incredibly hot men at her side and makes a few new friendships too. The plot lines and character development are super engaging but oh my the steam is off the charts!! A little bit of kink delivered incredibly well, a smattering off MM and a whole lot of orgasms!! This isn't one to share with your gran (unless of course your gran happens to be Landry she rocks that fat dick spirit!)

In two words, badass and hot!!! I absolutely love how M.J. made Blue a complete and utter badass!! I've only read a handful of books where the main character can hold her own, and this one tops that list. The relationship between Blue and the four sons is like nothing I've read, how they complete and compliment each other, like they are extensions of one another, made this book everything. It literally went by too fast when I was reading it, it took me a minute to realize I was at the end. And that cliffy? I cannot wait to read book 3 and see what Blue, the sons and Donut get into.

She's finding her place in her new world and taking no prisoners - she makes it clear that though she's more than happy to beat some fool to death with a twobyfour, she's not prepared to stand by when innocent people are being hurt.
She makes friends with some more women in this book, which adds a bit of depth to her character rather than her interactions being exclusively with her men.
This book has even more steam than the first and I'm so ready for more!

Recently, well this year, I've read a few amazing books that involved a bit of spice...meaning sane characters that don't mind getting a bit psychotic when necessary. This book fits that bill, and it was so good. I've also.. more recently... been getting into mm within the RH groups and find it so 🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯 Blue is an amazing bada$% female with 4 hot guys by her side. If you enjoy blood play you have to read this! The more I read books like this I find myself having different opinions in being more open...less kink shaming here🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Love this series following blue and her boys!
This is the 2nd in a series of 3 that follow the growing relationship between "Blue" and her harem, Clint, Cole, Fletcher and Holder. I love the dynamic between Holder and Fletch(we get MM/MMF scenes) I also really enjoyed that Blue (The MFC) is a total badass who is capable of fucking up her enemies and doesn't require the boys to step in and "save her".
I will admit the writing style took a minute to get used too, however I can see why the author chose to write in the chosen style. It really adds to the personality of the characters.

Purgatory in Pink is the second novel in the Colors of Corruption series following Aiyda and the Sons of Fortune. While this mafia romance has its steamy moments, I wasn't a fan. This isn't to say that the book isn't necessary good, I just wasn't into it. I liked the plot of the book, but I was left wanting more of a buildup to Aiyda's world. Everything seemed rushed to me. From Aiyda getting over her traumatic past, to the Sons of Fortune quickly accepting their relationship with her that includes no drama. We were left with a doozy of a cliffhanger that I'm curious to see how it pans out.

This book was dark, gritty, sexy all rolled into one. I loved this book! I thought Reborn in Blue a was awesome but I think this book is better. Blue is a crazy bitch with a heart. I loved that her relationship with each of her men was special. Her bond with Holden was my favorite. Watching from the beginning how at first they hated each other but what it really was an explosive sexual chemistry. Blue gave Holden what he needed. I need book 3!!!!

MJ once again doesn't disappoint. She is amazing. Picks up where Reborn in Blue ends. It was amazing. I could not put it down. I love Blue and the Sons twisted love. The book is well written and easy to follow. And the ending I cannot wait for the last one. I will be waiting semi patiently. #Holderissomine

I loved it! This is a fantastic book! After reading book 1, I didn’t think this series could get any better, but it absolutely did! The characters and storyline are amazing. I totally want Donut! I am loving this series and cannot wait for the next book, especially after that huge surprise at the end of the book!

The second book held true! I love the interaction between the female heads of the different groups. The building up of each other instead of the typical tearing down is a refreshing change. Blue is so supportive of other females and an advocate of therapy , it is awesome. I am looking forward to see what comes next for this crew.

Such a great read! I devoured this book. Ayida is sassy and bad@$$ and is such a fantastic lead character. Cole, Clint, Fletcher, and Holder are absolutely delicious. Read this book you won't regret it! Does contain triggers: abuse, ptsd and violence (if that bothers you) also is a reverse harem.

I absolutely love these characters, and can't get enough! These books are so well written, and I love all the craziness. Can't wait to read the next book, would love a spin off series for Winnie or Ahmya.
