All magic has a price... but to possess the witch, he's willing to do whatever it takes.
Don't get involved with monsters. That's Juniper's number one rule for staying under the radar... and the one rule the witch has trouble following. She should have turned down the shifter Alpha when he offered her the job, but the money was good and her sister needed new soccer cleats.
All magic comes with a price... and so does interfering. Alone and hunted by witches and undead alike, Juniper has no choice but to embrace her powers--and somehow find a way to keep the handsome FBI agent dogging her steps from getting killed in the crossfire.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Reid has one job: recruit the witch. Piece of cake, right? Wrong. Sure, Juniper is beautiful, and fiery, and following her around is far more entertaining than being chained to a desk — but getting attacked by undead monsters isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Reid is in over his head and he knows it. Quitting his job is looking more and more appealing with each horrifyingly supernatural minute, but there's something about Juniper that he can't seem to get out of his head.
The bewitching temptress is driving him mad--but is it magic... or something else entirely?
Bewitching Allure is the fifth book in the Raven Falls Cursed Romances series. This is a steamy paranormal romance with a witchy single mom and her hot FBI agent. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after!
R. O’Leary lives in North Pole, Alaska (no, really). When she’s not spending half the year freezing to death, she’s writing about shifters and aliens and anything else that strolls through her head. Most of her day is spent in pajama pants, chasing the pack of corgis that have claimed her living room as their own.
Furbidden Attraction is the first installment in R. O’Leary’s new paranormal romance series.
5 STARS!!! This was so, so SOOOOOO GOOD!!! The first book of this series was my favorite, but this one really took over that spot. You gotta have a kinda snarky sense of humor to truly enjoy this story, because Reid and Juniper have the snark down to a science. Their banter was so funny, the story was so full of action and the smut was A+. Reid is definitely a top book boyfriend. Loved him!
I don't want this series to end but this book has an epic battle like you want in a finale. Given the body count in this book, I'm a little worried what it will take to defeat their enemy.
Juniper is a witch, one of the last of her line and her magic packs a punch that's almost nuclear. Reid is a dedicated FBI agent, both appeared in earlier books - now this unlikely pair takes center stage. Reid is in way over his head working supernatural cases. He's assigned to recruit Juniper to Team Fed. After all he's seen, he's not so certain his team is the good guys. Moreover he's drawn to the beautiful yet infuriating and stubborn witch. When he refuses to leave her side as she hunts the witch hunting her sister, he gets a crash course in all things supernatural. Reid is woefully outgunned but he's whip smart, loyal and as stubborn as Juniper. Now he just has to survive and get her to trust him. Juniper kept herself and her sister alive by hiding and trusting no one. Given the power both witches wield, trusting the wrong person is a death sentence. They'll have to trust each other to defeat the witch so steeped in dark magic that can only come from true evil. Juniper's powers and her will power are tested like never before.
This being a Raven Falls novel there's also plenty of snark and sexy times. We also get a glimpse of the true mastermind of the plot that's unfolded since book 1 and it's a doozy.
Oh so much witchy stuff happens here! This book takes place right after Juniper drops off Poppy with Bennett. Reid and Juniper are off on a hunt of their own some witchy is send vampires to take out Juniper and Poppy and agent Reid invited himself along for the ride. I definitely has something to do with his crush on Juniper but he for regrets all the nasty things that almost kill him, he is a normie after all a normal human.
This book follows Reid and Juniper and their blooming realatiinship. She is sassy and good at hiding most everything from him and he is a trigger happy smart mouth. When he learns that juniper is a mind Walker there are a few dreams of his that she gets sucked into and some steamy fantasies take place.
I’m glad we finally get to learn who the mastermind is behind all the people stealing. I was definitely surprised and can’t wait for the shifters to end him.
3.5 ⭐️ you can definitely tell when a book doesn’t come as easily to the author. Juniper and Reid where an extremely likeable pair. A witch with a world of responsibilities and the serious quiet FBI agent with an honorable streak a mile long. The battle scenes were important for the plot and for their burgeoning relationship but they still felt a little tedious at times. I think it took a little time to get into it because they weren’t characters that I was really waiting for their story, to be honest by the end of deathly desire I was more invested in Iris’ otter friend and the wild than Juniper and Reid. All that said I appreciated the pops of humour that bought a smile to my face, I was so glad Reid had found something worth fighting for and Juniper had found the one to be by her side. As always the epilogue was a delightful cherry on top.
Another great addition to the Raven Fall's series. Overlapping timeline with Deathly Desire, but very end does give spoilers for DD. Strong contender for favorite couple! I loved the dynamic between Reid and Juniper.
Juniper's first priority is to keep her preteen sister safe, so when helping the Alpha with a problem has a witch targeting Poppy, Juniper is ready to go on the offensive to bring the witch down. Reid really wishes he did not get transferred to the UOD branch of the FBI, but it's his job and it brings him back in contact with Juniper. Juniper is alone fighting a battle that just might be out of her league, and Reid is the only person by her side, even though he is a useless human.
Juniper and Reid have to learn to trust each other in order to take down the most dangerous enemy Raven Fall's has faced yet.
I completely forgot that they hadn't caught the shifter spearheading the capture of other supes. I really was not expecting the witch gunning for Juniper to be related to her. This got so crazy though and I loved how Reid held his own against the undead animals. He was badass for a human. I really enjoyed this and I can't wait for the final showdown.
I decided I’d write about all the books…new series…at 1 st I was a little lost with all the combinations of shifters etc…but once I was halfway through I was sucked in….and I just loved every book…plenty of action as well as finding their forever….twists and turns And a good story line….
This book unravels soooo many secrets in the end, it totally blasts my mind. I would give this book solid 4.5 stars but since that is impossible I will give it 4 stars. Reids and Junipers' story got better with time but the first half of it just was not as interesting as the other relationship-storys from the other books.
I have read a lot of supernatural romance, so I was prepared for this one to be like the rest. But with each new couple storyline, I am pleasantly surprised. I have enjoyed that the storyline continues through each couple’s romance. This is my guilty pleasure and I can’t wait for the next story!
Bewitching Allure is book five in the series Raven Falls Cursed Romances by author R. O’Leary. This one gets down the nitty gritty. Someone has betrayed them and this sassy witch is on the hunt. Doesn’t hurt that her sidekick(unwanted) is deliciously hot. Together they piece together the puzzle and with luck they just might come out in one piece. Enjoy!!
Reid and Juniper were very fun together but the fact that their story only spanned over a couple days made their love a little unbelievable to me. I did have a better time with this book nonetheless compared to the previous two.
The last couple of books have had some editing oversights though and I’m kinda over the phrase “like a battering ram”….
Rom-com meets para-shifter mystery thriller. a mixture of d bag in all the best ways! Just when you think you have it figured out there is a twist and a kiss and the mystery turns again! Can’t wait for the next book!
I can see where Poppy gets her sass from. Reid is in good running to becoming my favourite, just swoops into her life and accepts things. Doesn't try to change her or fix her, just helps as best he can
I truly love this series! I’ll be so sad when I finish, it’s amazing how so many lines are being connected as the stories go on. I can’t wait to finish the series to unravel the mystery. Normally I am a mystery reader not a romance type, but I adore how R. O’Leary can mesh the two together!
I love a good mystery and there is enough drama in this story to qualify. There is a bit of angst (because relationships are complicated) but it doesn’t overwhelm the story line and become a major ploy driver.
