Gabby and her crime fighting skills
I enjoyed reading all the squeaky clean books! All the characters are relatable and are so easy to get addicted to. The Christian aspects are so important to remind us that God can help us through every situation in life.

This book will keep you recalling all the many events and cases that Gabby helped to solve. However, there’s a twist to it all. Who is this newest villain? Who is so evil they want to play games with Gabby’s mind?
This story moved so fast and furious, it was fantastic!
Christy Barritt has a way of capturing you from the very first page to the very last. All her books are colorful, intriguing, full of suspense, action, and drama. She is very skilled at keeping us guessing as to who the bad guy is in this story!
You think it’s one person but then it’s someone else. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat until you finish it. I actually couldn't put it down! I didn’t want to stop to go to sleep either. It’s one of those books and series that will leave you wanting MORE!
Christy Barritt’s characters seem so real, they just jump off the pages of her books. Their issues are often just like mine, (except for the running from danger stuff!) and they deal with some of the same things I deal with. I love how the author weaves in hope in God’s protective hand, and the realization that without God, life can be much more difficult.
I highly recommend you pick this book up to read, better yet, pick up the WHOLE series!

The Squeaky Clean Series with Gabby and Friends, has always been one of my very favorite mystery servies by Author Christy Barritt and this conclusion to the series was a walk down Memory Lane! It brought back a recollection of hours of enjoyable reading over the past 5 or 6 years. Gabby is back filling in as a crime scene cleaner again, and several cases in a row seem very familiar to her. She begins to figure out, with Riley's help, that someone is copying earlier murder scenes or cases where Gabby was involved. Gabby feels responsible and knows that people will continue to be hurt, and her closest friends in trouble, or even killed, if she can not figure out who is trying to punish her. One of the worst times of her life is when Riley was shot, and that case seems to be next on the killer's schedule, so they need to solve the crimes as soon as possible!

A very fitting--and chilling-- end to the series that first introduced me to Christy Barritt. I have adored watching Gabby St. Claire Thomas develop as a character and as a sleuth. This one was both satisfying and suspenseful, and left me a little sad--Gabby has been a part of my reading life for over a decade.
But Barritt tied up the story threads with skill and finesse, allowing a trip down memory lane while making the series feel fresh and new. I'm a long time fan and I was left amazed at the journey I was privileged to take along with my favorite heroine, her handsome sidekick, and a memorable cast of characters I've grown to love.
Do yourself a favor and start with Hazardous Duty, and enjoy the series as it's meant to be read. You'll enjoy Cleans to an End so much more if you do.
See you later, Gabby. It's been fun.

Endings . . . and beginnings
What a roller coaster ride CLEANS TO AN END is! It revisits a lot of early Gabby mysteries as she's placed in the crosshairs of someone duplicating those early crime scenes. Someone is definitely out to get Gabby, and they're willing to hurt her friends in the process.
While I did guess who was behind the crime before it was revealed, the best part of this book comes after the story ends. Yes, this is the end of the Squeaky Clean Mysteries series, but Gabby, Riley, and the rest will be back in a new series of adventures as Gabby starts a new career -- possibly as assistant to a forensic anthropologist. As long as we get the occasional cold case . . . Evie, Sherman, and Garrett are just as important as Sierra, Riley, Reef, Adams, and Parker.
Highly recommended!

The final book in the Cleans to an End series by Christy Barritt (16 of 16). I skipped a few that I was not able to get, but wanted to use my last ever Kindle Owners Lending Library loan to get this one, and finish up with Gabby and Riley. This book, as well as all series books by Christy Barritt, does a great job of clueing you in on previous cases and people. The author does a great job of catching you up and explaining things, as opposed to authors who just assume you remember every single detail from previous books in a series (which I never do), so I really appreciate that. This one has Gabby retracing previous cases, which have a pattern to ones she has helped solve in the past. A nice quick read, and a good end to the series. I'll miss Gabby though :(

Gabby has faced the grizzly crime scenes once, and now it’s deja view. As she temporarily returns to crime scene cleaning, the scenes begin to mimic the ones from the start of her career. People are dying as a madman leaves clues along the way. Next up? Gabby’s own husband, Riley, who has already survived being shot in the head once! Gabby must find the killer before he takes his next shot.
Series ends are a bit sad to me, but Ms. Barritt did a great job of tying up loose ends and leaving the story on a satisfyingly high and hopeful note. Good read!

Cleans to an End by Christy Barritt is a sad farewell to Gabby St. Clair Thomas. She was my introduction to Christy Barritt's writing. Of all the heroines that she has written, Gabby is still my favorite. Maybe because I have "known" her the longest. As for the plot, it was an unique story filled with twists and turns as the killer appears to be tracing Gabby's past cases. I kept thinking of the way the story should have been ending, and I was hoping that was how the story ended, but Barritt, who is the author, wrote a totally different ending. Since it has been so long since the Milton Jones incident, I might have to go back and see where this story actually took place and re-read it. Definitely a story for fans of the Squeaky Clean series and Christy Barritt's writing.

Christy Barritt wraps up this captivating mystery series with an intriguing conclusion. Someone is recreating situations similar to the cases Gabby has solved in the past. She and Riley recall the horrific experiences they’ve been through as they race to find whoever is responsible for the new dangers they and those close to them face. Whether you have read any of the other books in this exciting series or not, this novel will take you on a wild ride. It stands on its own but will make you want to read the rest (or reread them)—it’s best to go through them in order as some story elements continue in each until this fine conclusion pulls all the threads together. But I am sorry to leave Gabby and the rest. I received a copy from the author. All opinions are my own.

Cleans to an End is a delightful end to a wonderful series. Even though I haven’t read all of the books in this series, I was able to totally connect to all the details of this intriguing mystery. I enjoy the love connection between Riley and Gabby. Christy Barritt has an amazing way of developing her characters into people that the reader can whole heartedly relate to. This book has many characters that are fun to get to know.
In true Christy Barritt style, the ending is always a surprise. This is the main reason why every one of her books is a delight to read.

I have come to think of Gabby and company as friends and while I am saddened to see the series come to an end the prospect of meeting up with Gabby again gives me joy.
The series is very well written and the quirkyness of Gabby and her inability to stray far from trouble is endearing. However, in this book trouble comes looking for her and I didn't see the plot twist coming which is a compliment to Christy Barritt!
I highly recommend the Squeaky Clean series to all!

I loved this final installment of the Squeaky Clean series! Gabby has always been my favorite character of all the wonderful characters created by Christy Barritt. I loved how this book revisited previous cases and it left me guessing until the end. I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars! I loved that the end of the book gives us a glimpse of Gabby’s future. I really hope this means there are more stories ahead for us with Gabby and her cohorts.

Christy is a rock star.
Christy Barritt is a rock star! Whether she is writing to a younger audience, or an adult audience she keeps you wrapped up in the storyline. I love her character Gabby.
The island series and its spinoffs are great. I would to try some of the Crazy Cheffettes creation
I just finished Fog Lake. It makes me want to visit there, and at the same time - maybe not. Thanks for the stories Christy

Grand Finale for the series
I’ve read the whole Squeaky Clean series with a few breaks in between books. I enjoy cozy mysteries and sometimes Ms. Barritt’s stories are less than cozy. Her writing makes you feel the emotions raging in Gabby, the heroine. I like that her stories are not only an escape from reality but also leave opportunities for reflection on life, love, and faith.

Did you ever have deja vu?? Gabby begins to experience this when things begin to happen that mimic previous crimes that she had helped solve. What is going on? Who could possibly be doing this? When Gabby's friends begin to be affected by this, Gabby knows she has to discover who is doing this before it is too late!! A thrilling conclusion to a wonderful series!!

I had an Advance Readers Copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Christy Barritt has written a great end to this series. Gabby has someone recreating her solved crime cases, and people are disappearing or being arrested. Will she be able to solve the case before someone dies? She uses interesting twists and turns throughout the book. An interesting read.

How apprapro!
Wow! It is going to be so hard to wait for a new Gabby series. I am in love with this series and hate to see it go! I have also loved all the Lantern beach mystern series. I am not into romance novels at all but love what Christy has done with her mysteries by adding the element of love in them. Her ability to write about true romance is amazing and so refreshing.

Left wanting more of the Scooby Gang!
An ending just as messy as our favorite heroine, Gabby Sinclair deserves! I am SO happy to hear there will be more Gabby to come. The books were just starting to really sparkle again for me? So the wait will be admittedly anxious! How much trouble can Gabby get into between not and then? Will Sierra ever win a campaign?

Fabulous - even though...
I have had so much enjoyment reading all of the Squeaky Clean Mysteries, Cold Case Mysteries, as well as all the other spin offs. Cleans to an End was absolutely fabulous even though it is the end! Fortunately, I own all of the books so I can binge read the series any time I want!

Wow!
I have to admit when I put off reading this because I thought it was the "last" Gabby book. I'm so glad it's not! It was a fitting way to kick off her next chapter. I loved this series because there were always great plot twists and I never figured out who the criminal was until the end. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Gabby and the gang!

Review of this book.
This was a super thriller. I never saw this ending coming. The clues were so subtle, that I totally missed them. Even when the killer was named I was stunned. I never saw that coming. I was following the wrong clues! You just keep getting better and better. Keep up the great job of writing these mysteries.

Christy Barritt…
Is an excellent mystery writer. Who knew a crime scene cleaner could have so many deaths to figure out. All the characters showed up in this last book of the series and at one time or the other they all seemed guilty. My only problem is there was no baby for Gabby and Riley. Keep writing Christy!

Great.and fun series!
I just finished this.entire series and I loved it. I almost feel like main character, Gabby, is my best friend. The characters have great backgrounds and the imagination of each in the mysteries is different and surprising. You get to feel laughter, fear,sadness, and love throughout the books. I highly recommend these easy read books.

one little thought
Enjoy reading Christy Barrett’s books. Like trying to figure out the suspect.
Thinking on this …..for this book…. How could one hide ‘ Sharon’ in a building that’s being built. Someone would be there most every day and Bill even went there one time.
But , I do enjoy Gabby St Claire ! 🩷

The entire 18 book series is fabulous! From Gabby's soundtrack to her mental snarky responses to Riley's steadiness, to Sierra's acorn brownies the suspense and hilarity is non-stop.

Great Ending
Christy Barritt never disappoints. Gabby never wants trouble but trouble finds her! Interesting characters with suspense make this a must read. I hope we read about them again soon!
