Shy bookworm Sophia Gideon wished she had a boyfriend like in her books. But her wish backfired when she caught the interest of her school's most vicious bully. He enjoyed beating up people and his knuckles were always raw, his boots splattered with blood. Sophia was convinced he was a monster. A cruel, unfeeling, soulless monster. But was he?
Light reading and it could be read in one sitting tbh. not that great but not that disappointed either. so so.
characters, pretty good. I like Leon but I love John. Sophia is great but just to submissive for me, even though in the end she has a bit of development on her characteristic.
A lot of missing pieces for me: - The reason why Rohan hates Sophia that much; a grey area - The reason why Leon date Sophia because of that prick? Man, I expected better than that - Behind the closed door about the bullys (Rohan, Skull, Leon and John) too ordinary - Leon backstories? disappointing, expecting more. Like it just common *sorrynotsorry*
Terry and John stories for the next book? I’m ready for that!
I’ll never know for certain why this book in particular has such a GRIP on me but I read this once in middle school, and since then have read it countless times, I’m in my first year of uni now. I will forever be obsessed with Sophia and Leon. <3 THIS is my roman empire.
I remember reading it from other platform before dreame. I installed dreame for this series! It keeps you wanting to know more. I encourage you to read the book2 along so u can understand better.
Sophia is the good girl innocent type who falls in love with the hard stone guy. Is not bullying at all. They thought he’s bullying but no. They chase the bullies instead! Recommended please read.
I remember reading this series on Wattpad once upon a time and it had been my absolute favourite ever since then. I can't believe I just stumbled upon this book and it turned out to be a masterpiece.
Absolutely love Leon and Sophia ❤️. Wish there were more of their story, especially when they both enter college/university with their long distance relationship. But, I guess I'll just devour what I can get, hahaha.
I enjoyed it, but the whole storyline is based on a trope that I am starting to find quite boring, however, the overall story was interesting, the characters were fun and enjoyable. but everything played into the whole cliche innocent naive girl falling in love with the super bad boy who had a thing for violence.
The beginning of the story is incredibly unrealistic, but in a humorous way. As the plot and characters develop, more serious topics enter the storyline, and almost every character surprised me; especially Terry. She was my least favorite character at the beginning of the book, and my favorite by the end. I'm so excited that the sequel is about her.
