This book took the groundwork of everything from the first issue and refined it exponentially, creating a better book than what I already considered a great book. I really enjoyed this comic from start to finish, and it gave me the same feelings as a really good episode of Adventure Time, though this time with occasional swearing. Not to mention that fact that this comic is gorgeous to look at. I can't wait for Pimo and Rex's next adventure.
I read it in German! Reading this was a lot of fun, the story is original and very creative. And also 5 stars for why I bought it in the first place; such gorgeous & funky artwork ✨
Disappointing. The first graphic novel was fun, exciting, weird and adventurous. This one is modern problems veiled in the fantasy genre. It's about a wedding, where the grooms come from different backgrounds and their families don't like each other. Then they fight the "doubts monster" together from which they found out everyone has their own strenghts. The end. Am I unreasonable to think the fantasy genre exists to escape reality? It can be much more exciting, I don't know why the author chose this route.
