Did I just spend a Sunday afternoon reading a cookbook from start to finish? Yes, I did.
I can't wait to try a bunch of the recipes in this book. the ones I'm most excited to try are white bread, grape pie and tomato pie. I always thought I needed a special machine to make non-dessert bread. I can't wait to pick up some yeast and make fresh bread for sandwiches! I've also never heard of grape pie and now I can't wait to make one.
I did take it down to 4 stars, because more info on a couple of things would have been helpful. I mean, I'm not a Michelin chef. It says "the juice of one lemon"-I have no earthy idea how to juice a lemon.
Also, what is "divided" milk?
I guess more information for novice bakers would have made this an even better book for me.
