First things first. This cover. It’s absolutely perfect for this book. The author captured the essence of arrogance perfectly, so well done!
Second, I’m over the flight attendant / pilot theme to these stories. Surely someone can find some other theme to these romance journeys LOL However, that does not mean this story was not good. I’m going to give credit where credit is due and it’s due, it’s just soooooooo many of these stories have already been linked to the Cocky Hero Club Universe that they are starting to blend.
Now, about this book. Despite what I mentioned above, I enjoyed the heck out of this story! It has a lot going on so don’t be fooled, you’re gonna have to pay attention to keep up LOL But here’s the thing, even though the storyline had a sprinkle of quite a few tropes mixed with a little bit of drama here and there, it was wrapped up with tremendous chemistry. The storyline unfolded perfectly and even the secondary characters will engage you. It’s pretty damn perfect so go #oneclick :)

This book is a part of the cocky hero club books and was a fantastic read. This is the first book that I have read by this author and defiantly wont be the last. I really enjoyed reading this fake relationship romance read sand so will you.

The plan is she will be his fake girlfriend for a few days while in Greece and while in this beautiful country anything can happen between these two.
The way that this author has written this book was great and I thought that the story flows throughout. The characters were awesome and you wont be able to take your eyes form them both,the have sizzling hot chemistry and the reader will love these two together. This author is fantastic and helping the reader to visualize the world the characters are living in and I was totally invested in this story and really enjoyed reading it. They authors style of writing is amazing and I cant wait to see what this author writes in the future because I will be first in line to get it. This cocky hero book is a must read and is a stand-alone in this world.

I fell in love. Hard. With Jimmy, of course. Who doesn’t want a suave European lover? Jolene, maybe, but she has good reasons. Or so she thought.
After a sweet meet cute and a steamy one night stand, we get a reunion that brings us to a fake relationship. That’s a lot of tropes for one single book, but the author makes them work well. Then, you travel through Greece’s landscapes and traditions, and the exotism is very appealing.
There isn’t a lot of drama in this book, and even some original and funny moments that’ll make you laugh–and swoon, I swear. Grab Jimmy’s hand and go on a romantic journey by the Mediterranean sea.

Gail Haris is a new to me author and Arrogant Arrival was my first read from her and boy she did not disappoint!! Jolene is a flight attendant who has sworn off pilots...she meets Jimmy at an airport restaurant and guess what? Yep, he's a contract pilot. The truth comes out and things don't go well, they don't speak until Jolene happens to take a flight for one of her co-workers and it's a flight to Greece, and guess who's on said flight...you guessed it, Jimmy!! He convinces Jolene to stay in Greece for a vacation, and to help him out with his family. Will she agree to his crazy scheme? Will it become more than just a "scheme"? Guess you'll just have to read this book and find out!!

Sigh. This book was simply amazing. Jolene and Jim "Jimmy" were written perfectly. I loved the depth of emotions wrung from my soul with these two. Their chemistry was so wickedly hot. Jimmy's family and their Greek culture made the story even richer. The descriptions of the water and the landscapes of the islands were so vivid, I could easily picture them in my mind. This was another magnificent addition to the Cocky Hero Club world.

I absolutely loved this book. It is also available on audible and is beautifully read!! I laughed out loud literally so many times. The characters are on point. This really is worth the read. I really wish Gail Haris had more available on audible!! I would have them ALL!

4.5 Star Review Arrogant Arrival (Cocky Hero Club) by Gail Haris
One of the things I have most loved about the Cocky Hero Club is finding authors who are new to me. Wow, I loved this book, from the first to the last chapter, I was totally invested in Dimitrios “Jim” Georgakopolous and Jolene Tanner’s story.
Jolene is a flight attendant who has sworn off pilots and during a layover meets the intriguing and arrogant Greek, Jim. After a passionate night Jolene finds out that Jim is a pilot which means she is going to stay well away from him. However when fate has them crewing on the same flight to Greece, neither of them know how it is about to change their lives.
Despite herself, Jolene agrees to help Jim with a fake relationship to get Jim's family off his back. The chemistry between the two is intense, what happens when fake becomes real? This was a quick story, add in Greece, some humor and it is an entertaining read.

Jolene is a flight attendant who is sick of wasting time dating pilots. Jimmy is a contract pilot who likes not having real responsibilities. These two had amazing chemistry and great banter. When he ask her to be his fake girlfriend for 9 days in Greece she goes for it. What can really happen? Can they actually fall in love? Can this really be it? This was a fun read. The setting was described perfectly and Jimmy’s family was extremely entertaining.

This is a new author for me and I was excited about reading this book and it definitely didn't disappoint. Jolene is sick of dating pilots and has officially sworn off dating them. Jimmy is a contract pilot that doesn't like to listen to anyone and do things his way and not having real responsibilities. He asks her to go with him and be his fake girlfriend and she thinks what could really go wrong with this situation, but BOY OH BOY is she wrong! You will just have to pick this book up to find out what happens between these two!

I was lucky enough to be an ARC for Arrogant Arrival. I want to go to Greece now! This book is true to the fun nature we have grown to love from Gail. The humor will keep you laughing out loud the entire book. Make sure to read this once it is available!

Laugh out loud amazing
OMG! This was such an amazing and fun read. Jolene wasn't wanting to date another pilot. Jimmy knew and hid the fact he was a pilot so he could be with her. Months later they meet up again on a flight to Greece. From there these two will make you laugh. I love the way they banter. The incidents that happen with Jolene will have tears falling down your cheeks from laughing so hard. This is the first book I've read by this author and loved it!! So much so I couldn't put the book down until I hit the end. Don't miss out on this phenomenon book. I hope you love it just as much as I did.

A wonderful book by Gail Harris who was a new author to me. This book will make you want to hop on a plane and fly to Greece. Jolene and Jimmy have a wonderful chemistry and with her being gun shy on pilots and him being a cocky pilot we get to read a fun romance story. I really enjoyed reading this book. This book is part of The Cocky Hero Club but can be read as a standalone. I received this book as an arc for my honest opinion.

What a brilliant book! I absolutely loved that this story was not predictable.
Based in Greece for the majority of the book, I loved learning about a new culture. The author has a way of making you feel like you’re there and becoming diverse right alongside Jolene.
Jolene is swearing off pilots for good. She’s tired of their antics and she’s taking a hiatus. Then she meets a Greek god like man named Jim. He immediately sweeps her off her feet for their one night stand, until it all comes crashing down the next day... he’s a bloody pilot!
When fate intervenes again for them, she is found in Greece with Jimmy and his family! I loved the series of events that lead to the falling and breaking. But the author also knows how to mend your heart in a way that has you grasping your chest and saying “Awe!”
While this is part of the Cocky Hero World, I didn’t feel I missed out on anything but I truly loved this book. It made me feel good and I’ve been on a happy cloud ride all day long. Don’t be arrogant, pick up this book about a swoony pilot and a sassy, spitfire flight attendant, it’ll take you places.

This was THE MOST romantic love story I can recall ever having read! I can’t tell you when it happened but I had suddenly fallen in love with Jolene and Jimmy. This had all the warm fuzzy feelings along with many hot moments that continued to overflow throughout.
One night stand turned fake girlfriend. The storyline is unique which I loved! Not another Hallmark Movie replica.
This was such an awesome RomCom with our Arrogant Greek God Jimmy. There was nothing about him that I didn’t love.
And the attention to detail for the scenery in Greece was absolutely amazing. The “view” the author gives us completely breathtaking. Greece, you now have a new fan and have been added to my bucket list!

This is another great addition to this amazing series and is Jolene and Dimitrios / Jim’s story. Jolene is a flight attendant who has sworn off pilots, and after meeting after meeting an intriguing and arrogant Greek called Jim, they spend a steamy night together, only to find out that he is a contract pilot. When Jim needs her help, she agrees to being in a fake relationship with him. This is a well written story which is humorous, steamy and with witty banter, which all had me totally hooked and captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend for all.

Arrogant Arrival by Gail Harris was my first every read by this author and I really enjoyed her writing and story telling. Since this story plays in one of my favorite worlds by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward I just had to read it.
Jolene a 29 year old flight attendant had her heart broken one to many times when she meets Jimmy at the airport. When a storm cancelles all flights she agrees to spend the night with Jimmy who she doesn't know is a pilot until the next morning. They hit it off instantly but due to Jimmy's lies it is quickly shattered again. Weeks later fate decides both of them need to meet up again and so our turbulent story starts.
Jimmy is a greek god, working as a pilot who is on his way to Greece to meet up with family when he finds Jolene again. And since he wants to avoid his mothers meddling he decides Jolene is the perfect fake girlfriend for him.
We get to spend alot of time in beautiful greece with our main characters and get to know them so much better.
I really enjoyed this story. The setting and the characters were amazingly written and I felt myself being with them in greece and enjoying some much needed sun and vacation.

This is a new author for me however I really enjoyed this story. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I started reading but I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The whole story kept me interested, I enjoyed the humour and the characters were easy to read about. Overall a very good and enjoyable book.

Arrogant arrival is a lovely romance story backed up by the beautiful sites, landscapes and traditions of Greece. In a gorgeous setting that creates a laid-back, Mediterranean and romantic atmosphere, it's hard not to fall in love with the magic of paradise and Jo and Jimmy's chemistry and banter.
A perfect book for your next vacation, or just to read on the porch for a quite night.

Jolene has decided no more pilots. They're all a big disappointment. That's why Jim decides in his infinite wisdom not to tell her his job, because their hot night doesn't need any kind of obstacles. But when they meet again, can he convince her to be his fake girlfriend to keep his family off his back? Can Jolene keep her heart from falling for yet another pilot? No matter how gorgeous and sweet he is?
I must say that in most of the Cocky Hero Club books with Jolene in them, Jolene has usually gotten on my nerves, and in this story she also got on my nerves too, but she was much less negative than in previous stories. I really liked Arrogant Arrival, mostly because Jim is absolutely dreamy. He's sweet and funny, gorgeous and calls her things in a beautiful language. What more could you ask for in a guy?! Oh yeah, he's a pilot too! Fake relationship done right with a gorgeous pilot and his dream girl.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!
Well I almost finished this WONDERFUL BOOK in a day but then I had to go to bed last night. So there's that. BUT now I finished it (a day later after work) and can't tell you enough HOW MUCH I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED THIS STORY!
OMG! I can't even explain all my feelings right now! I LOVE IT when something like that happens! It's a certain kind of feeling - like being in love or this excitement because your birthday is almost there! You know what I mean? This book made me sooooo happy!
I ABSOLUTELY DEVOURED IT!
Yes, I devoured it right from the beginning and got addicted that it was really tough to stop myself! I couldn't stop thinking about those characters and needed to know what'll happen next!
So... Arrogant Arrival is the wooonderful love story of Jo and Jim. When Jo swears off pilots she meets Jim. Oops, and Jim is a contractpilot but she doesn't know at first. So what'll happen with them? Can Jo really turn down this arrogant Greek God? You should find out for yourself! ;)
Well let's say that Jo and Jim totally had this really special connection! God their chemistry was palpable!! I got goose bumps when they had good times together! And I loved their witty banter as well! I laughed so much!
Jo is such a strong, sassy and self-confident woman and Jim (Dimitrios - OMG just say it a few times. Doesn't it sound sexy as hell?! 😍 *swoon*) is the perfect pendant to her! WONDERFUL!
OMG and now that I finished this awesome book I wanna visit Greece to find a hot Greek guy too! LOL Thank you very much!
Well besides all the laughter, it got really HOT and also kinda dramatic! I loved the combination of it all and totally got specific pics of the Greek family etc. in my mind. Haha.

Well let's say that Jo and Jim totally had this really special connection! God their chemistry was palpable!! I got goose bumps when they had good times together! And I loved their witty banter as well! I laughed so much!
Jo is such a strong, sassy and self-confident woman and Jim (Dimitrios - OMG just say it a few times. Doesn't it sound sexy as hell?! 😍 *swoon*) is the perfect pendant to her! WONDERFUL!
OMG and now that I finished this awesome book I wanna visit Greece to find a hot Greek guy too! LOL Thank you very much!
Well besides all the laughter, it got really HOT and also kinda dramatic! I loved the combination of it all and totally got specific pics of the Greek family etc. in my mind. Haha.

Sexy, fun read - loved the Greek setting!

Jolene Tanner is determined to avoid getting involved with pilots after another disastrous fling with yet another one. When she meets a cocky but super gorgeous guy, Jimmy, during a layover, she throws caution to the wind and spends a pretty unforgettable night with him. However, come morning, she realises that he lied to her and she makes a stormy exit.
"You kind of ruined me for anyone else, if you must know. I can still smell you, taste you, still want you."
When they meet again, he's a passenger on her flight on his way to spend a couple of weeks with his relatives in Greece, and manages to persuade her into a charade for his family. However, it soon becomes unclear whether their feelings are fake or real.
"What if the fantasy was never a fantasy to being with...but instead it was all reality?"
This was an easy, enjoyable read. Jimmy is a charming, lovable guy, who didn't realise what he wanted until he met Jolene. I adored his confidence and jolly nature. Jolene is so tentative and careful for fear of being hurt that she almost loses her chance at real love. I loved how Jimmy brought her out of herself and how free she felt around him. Their reconciliation was pretty adorable! I also thoroughly enjoyed the Greek setting - one of my favourite places to holiday and certainly made me yearn to be back there!

Let's get something straight. I think we can all "guess" what this book is going to look like inside. We can probably also "predict" the ending. But don't think, just read. Because although we might be right, it's the journey that's worth each and every page turned.

Hooking up every now and again on a layover with your pilot is one thing, but sometimes it looked like something was going to come out of it realizing you're horribly wrong. The only thing to do now is write off pilots altogether..forever...right? This shouldn't be a problem.
Jim is a Greek God who, at a young age, has a career that's been great for him. A private pilot, making his own schedule and rules. But when his flight is cancelled, he can't help but intervene in a certain flight attendants personal life. After vowing to make her forget all about her problems, he may have caused a major one for himself. Will he ever be able to solve this one?

Another hero and another great addition to the Cocky Hero Club as well as one more new author for me to follow. This is the first book I have read by Gail Haris but it won’t be the last because I loved her writing style and her characters in Arrogant Hero.

Jolene is a flight attendant who is determined never to get involved with a pilot but durning a layover she meets the interesting and arrogant Jim and it’s only after a night of passion she finds out he is a pilot. Fate seems determined to push this couple together because they both end up as the flight crew in the same flight to Greece. That flight and layover in Greece is about to change both their lives because Jim needs a fake girlfriend to keep his family at bay could Jolene be that girl......
This may be a quick read but it’s still an entertaining, fun story that we have come to expect from the world of cocky hero’s, the chemistry is sizzling, the characters adorable and the banter is witty. Looking forward to reading more from Ms Haris.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and won’t be my last. What a fun read, I loved Jimmy and Joelle. Joelle is unlucky in the guy department and has had it with dating pilots. Jimmy is cocky, confident and knows what he wants and goes for it. There is a spark between them and it’s all going great until that moment when it all shatters. Jimmy is the one thing she’s trying to avoid and he lied to her, but there’s something about Jo he can’t get past and wants a chance to prove he’s not like the others.
Will Jo give him a chance? Can these two get past their own insecurities to see what’s in front of them before it’s too late? Amazing read and I’m so happy I received a copy of this book to read.

I just loved this quick read. It’s a perfect escape from reality. You get carried away on this European romance. It’s witty, heartbreaking, romantic, steamy and swoon worthy.

Whether or not you are a fan of Elvis. Jolene has been a popular pick for Cocky Hero Club authors but I can honestly this is one of my favorites for her. She really shines or gets a chance to be more in Arrogant Arrival. Also can we talk about Jimmy!?! Hello, hottie! I think is really name is so darn sexy that I cringe calling him Jimmy. Lol.
