The story is great but the lack of basic editing is infuriating. The grammar and spelling mistakes are horrible. The story jumps around in ways that don’t make sense. Get this girl a book deal and an editor and let the story get the treatment it deserves.
I really with this was a physical or kindle book you could purchase! It sucks you in and doesn’t want to let go! The only reason I stopped is because I didn’t want to have to keep making mini payments to read. And the loading of each “chapter” was getting old. Some one publish this book already so I can buy it! Lol
I’m not even embarrassed, this book is amazing. I downloaded a reading app because of it. They give you like 15 free chapters to hook you. It was so good. This story follows Hazel who is forced to marry a prince. She’s a princess, it’s an arranged marriage, to make political connections... blah, blah, blah. It was delicious!! It had just the right amount of, well everything. Action, back stabbing royal siblings, wars, love, and so much pain. It was like I said, delicious.
Was really liking the story but didn’t realize that it was just a sample of the book on Wattpad. The full book is in webnovel which sucks. They only let you unlock chapters with coins and the coins cost money and is so expensive. By the time you may even finish a book you’d spend 3-5X the cost of a paper back. Wish I could finish the story but the app sucks.
This book popped up on a Facebook ad showing a portion of the story. I got so addicted from reading the prolong, I had to download the app. I literally could stop. I read the first book in a day because I was obsessed. Lucian is an amazing name, an amazing character and puts feels in me I have not felt in awhile. This book had me wanting more. Absolutely loved it.
I would love to give this 5 stars because in all the story is pretty amazing. But this really needs to be edited before presenting it to the public. Aside from the jarring slip ups in present language and slang in what is supposed to be a historical fantasy romance, there is so much spelling and grammar that needs to be fixed.
I really liked Lucian. Although a little broody, but what man in historical romances isn't right? He's smart and a gentleman. He gave Hazel so much respect that would have been completely uncommon back in those times. Women were, as her family treated them, just objects to use and breed heirs on. There was, clearly, some research that went into this as some of the history was correct, and not to mention the fear of witches and demons was rampant back then so good on the author for that.
I hope to see more written by this author in the future, but definitely find an editor and some beta readers, they'll see things you don't see before publishing.
I could not put this down (seriously, I finished it in a few hours). The story of Hazel and her struggle to understand her husband was well done. You could see how she struggled between what she wanted and what was expected of her due to the time period. My only complaint was it jumped around some and there were some places where it felt parts were missing. Overall, I loved it.
Pacing was horrible. Intense 'I'm not like other girls' energy at first then damsel in distress syndrome for most of the book. Physical descriptions of the main guy every chapter got old real quick. Sprinkles of abuse throughout the book like it was no big deal too. Trigger warning for self harm. Also, what was that ending?? If you can't tell yet, i hated this.
I have really enjoyed this series (this is book one of three)! Look, the editing and all the great things that come from publishing a book more formally, whether through an actual publisher or self-publishing, are just not here. There are lots of spelling mistakes and at times sentence errors that typically would have distracted me from continuing to read EXCEPT that the plot of this book and the characters are so good. I wanted to read something sexy, interesting and fun and "Married to the Devil's Son" is all that and more. I think this book would benefit from having an editor clean it up, but for being in its' basic, first draft stage, I am honestly stunned. Maybe one day the author will be able to officially publish this series. I know I'd support it! This book revolves around a romance between the devil's son and an innocent princess and as potentially campy as that sounds, I'm all here for it!
A little racier than my normal reads but I had to know what was going to happen to all the characters. I could not put it down. I saw it on FB and read it on my phone in no time on one of those crazy apps. But I had to finish it.
I really love this book from the bottom of my heart, I forgot all my worries while reading it, infact I go out from the world I am in to there world, thank you Sooo much for this book and I love the author, @Jasmine Joseph Fatima loves you ❤️❤️🥺😭❤️🙏
This story is very interesting and captivating and I like it very much...Every scene well structured and characters playing their roles well.... it's like watching/seeing a movie❤️❤️❤️
Honestly a good story. Yes, it had some rough grammar and spelling mistakes... But once I read the beginning blurb on a webnovel ad, I had to go see if the whole book was available on one of the many sites where webnovels get uploaded in full. It was, and I regret nothing. I read this and the second book and hope, someday, there is another book...
Once upon a time, I was scrolling on Pinterest (yes, Pintestest), and saw what looked like some sort of fanart... but it was an add with text. But even before I realized it was an add, I was already hooked and wanted to know more.
Well, I enjoyed all of it. It has love, action, betrayal, mysteries, magic, demons...
The only thing is: the end came way too fast. The last chapter escalate very quickly, and before you know, you’ve reached the end.
If you can overcome the fact that’s it’s not proofread and professionally edited, then I highly recommend.
