A hopeless romantic at heart, Peter finds joy in beauty, especially in a flaming sunset, where he believes reality and enchantment may always meet.
This authors earlier works either lacked an introductory blurb completely or had one that failed to pique my interest. So this work may be on outlier. If so it one of extraordinary quality. The world building, protagonist development and detail are all outstanding. So much so that if the authors name wasn't stamped on it I would attribute it to L.K. Hamilton as the next Anita Blake type of series.
Unfortunately this was the authors last known work published in July of 2020. Given the two year gap between then and now I'm terribly afraid it may have been is last work. I hope a few months will prove me wrong and there is a next volume in this series.
This book surprised me in the best possible way. Daemonia is an unforgettable character whose strength is balanced by vulnerability and heart. The story combines urban fantasy, suspense, and meaningful relationships beautifully. Every chapter revealed something new and intriguing. I can't wait to read more from this author.
What a refreshing take on the urban fantasy genre. The world-building felt immersive without becoming overwhelming. Daemonia's struggle with her curse added genuine emotional weight to the story. I loved how the novel balanced darker themes with moments of warmth and hope. Highly recommended for fantasy readers.
The premise immediately caught my attention, but the characters made me stay. Daemonia is far more than a supernatural adventure; it's a story about compassion, sacrifice, and connection. The pacing kept me engaged throughout. The mix of mystery and fantasy worked perfectly for me. An excellent read.
I loved the unique concept behind this novel. The author creates a fascinating protagonist who challenges expectations at every turn. The emotional moments felt authentic, and the action scenes were exciting. The story has plenty of heart alongside its fantasy elements. Definitely one of my favorite discoveries this year.
Daemonia stands out in a crowded fantasy genre. The characters feel real, the dialogue flows naturally, and the supernatural elements are handled with creativity. I especially enjoyed the relationships and personal struggles woven throughout the plot. The story kept me invested from beginning to end. Five stars without hesitation.
This was a wonderfully engaging fantasy novel with a memorable cast of characters. Daemonia herself is both mysterious and lovable, making her easy to root for. The balance between action, suspense, and emotion felt just right. I found myself thinking about the story long after finishing it. Highly recommended.
The combination of urban fantasy and emotional storytelling worked incredibly well here. I appreciated how the author developed both the plot and the characters with care. Daemonia's journey is compelling and heartfelt. There are plenty of exciting moments, but the emotional core is what truly shines. A fantastic read.
This book has everything I enjoy in fantasy: an intriguing premise, strong character development, emotional stakes, and a captivating supernatural mystery. Daemonia is a character I won't forget anytime soon. The writing kept me invested, and the story delivered on every level. An easy five-star recommendation.

I picked up this book expecting a fun fantasy adventure, but I got so much more. Maddy is one of the most interesting protagonists I've read in a long time. Her struggle between wanting a normal life and hiding her terrifying secret kept me turning pages late into the night.
Daemonia delivers a unique heroine who is both powerful and deeply compassionate. The blend of mystery, action, and supernatural intrigue kept me turning pages. I especially loved the emotional depth behind the curse. A fantastic read that deserves more attention.
Daemonia blends superhero action, urban fantasy, and emotional storytelling in a way that feels fresh and exciting. Maddy's curse isn't just a plot device; it shapes every relationship and decision she makes. I genuinely cared about what happened to her.
Fantasy fans looking for something different should absolutely give this book a chance. The protagonist is unique, the mystery is engaging, and the story offers much more depth than I expected. The themes of identity and belonging resonated with me throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter.
What impressed me most was how human Maddy felt despite being centuries old. Her fears, regrets, and hopes were relatable, and her journey from hiding in the shadows to becoming a reluctant hero was incredibly satisfying.
The creativity on display here is impressive. The world-building feels playful and original, and the interactions between the characters are often laugh-out-loud funny. It's rare to find a book this inventive.
This book balances adventure, emotion, and imagination beautifully. Theresa's determination to help Sandy added real heart to the story, while Ron's experiences on Chyoradan kept me turning pages late into the night. An unforgettable read.
Maddy is exactly the kind of flawed hero I enjoy reading about. She's powerful but vulnerable, brave but scared, and her internal conflicts felt just as compelling as the action scenes.
The world-building was fantastic. Every chapter revealed another layer of the universe without slowing down the story. Even as someone new to the author's work, I never felt lost.
A unique blend of superhero fiction and fantasy. The concept of an immortal enchantress cursed to become a demoness at sunset is fascinating, and the author explores it with creativity and depth.
What I appreciated most was that the book never felt predictable. Just when I thought I knew where the story was heading, another twist or revelation changed everything.
