The book notes that some ghosts do not realize that they are dead. They are too afraid to accept that they are dead. Some just refuse to cross over.

The book goes back to the Witch of Endor account in the Bible. Then there are various accounts of ghosts. One possible cause of becoming a ghost is being murdered. then there's a story about a Union general ghost, and a case in a bar area where there' ghosts, orbs, bats, voices and an attempted murder.

There's a hanted hotel with a helpful ghost, a poltergeist and other things.

Fairly typical ghost book, all interesting cases.

I enjoyed this book, it seemed credible, and well written. Of course you are either a sceptic or a believer. I'm a believer (through my own experiences with the paranormal) so can relate to much of what is written in this book. Being a believer makes reading about other people's experiences more interesting, and this book draws you into that. So, if you are a doubter, open your mind and let these stories enlighten you.
