Book 1 -Sanctuary, TX and it's paranormal citizens story. We have a woman trying to get away from her abusive husband, then finds herself being stalked by some scary looking man. She feels trapped with nowhere to turn when out of the blue she is rescued by a man she somehow trusts to take her to what he says will be a safe place. Yep, that safe place is Sanctuary; where she discovers amazing people who say they will keep her safe. After all, she's been through trusting doesn't come easy, especially when it comes to men. She learns secrets kept from the outside world and discovers things about herself she didn't know, things that will change her life forever. Among all these new things that are happening to her, she finds herself falling for her rescuer, but is still terrified to trust. She finds out a secret kept by her new found love, one that she is terrified of and will never accept. Should she once again run from those she fears? You have to read the story to find out all that befalls her, both good and bad, and can she finally let herself trust others? I can't wait to read the other stories in this author's Sanctuary, TX series. Book 2 - My Dragon Masters - This story was a wonderful surprise. Of course, I knew there were dragons in it because of the title, but oh what dragons they be. The story starts with a thousand years of pain, of memories stolen and a daring escape from a hellish prison. Running to something unknown but drawn to it from her soul. Ice and fire will be her hearts home but will she ever remember the love and anguish that has come to her in dreams for those thousand years. That's it, telling no more for I hate spoilers. The author has given us a very different Once Upon a Time story, but if you love reading of shifters, werewolves, vampires, and more, you have to read this one, and of course, we can't leave out a little sex.

Book 3 - My Eternal Soldier - Sanctuary, TX, a city filled with not only humans but those called others is still going strong against its enemies. Those enemies are not only humans who hate all paranormal beings but the mad ruler of the Vail, Xerxes, and his army. Two lovers lost from each for a thousand years, but who've found each other again; stronger together than apart will work together, along with others from Sanctuary, to save their friends. I don't like to give spoilers and I've already said too much. If you enjoy reading about hot, sensual love, fighting overwhelming odds, friends, and family you would die for, then this series is for you. Author Krystal Shannon continues to give us strong characters within her world of Sanctuary, TX.

Book 4 - Mastered: Teagan - We have a shifter woman who has lost everything during the massacre of paranormals in the US and blames herself for that loss. She wants nothing more than to wipe her memories away and the only way she can do this is to accept pain at it's extreme in order to forget, and if not able to forget to accept punishment for not saving those she loved. But in Sanctuary she meets a man who will not let her continue on this path of pain and does all he can to show her that she deserves happiness. But will it be enough to help her let go of her guilt and learn to love again? This story has it all, great loss, guilt, fear of loving again, BDSM at it's fullest and then in a twist BDSM at it's most sensual and loving.

Book 5 - My Warrior Wolves - This is a story of the pain of loss, envy, betrayal, death, but mainly about the many sides of love. Here you might be saying, what sides of love? Well, there's love of blood family, of those who are family but not blood, and love of your mate, or in this case mates. Our heroine has seen the horrific death of her parents and many others from her extended family; this causes distrust from them, made worse by the actions of her greed of family who want to be in charge. The one good thing that comes from this turmoil is it brings the main characters together, as fate intended and as they should have been from the beginning. Their bond is forever as is their love, together the three of them must now try to save what is left of the wolf pack, against the evil that destroyed her family and pack, as well as her own blood and pack members. Hope this gives you enough to let you know this is a story worth reading; I don't do spoilers so it was really hard for me not to give you more, so hopefully, it's not too little.

Book 6 - My Guardian Gryphon - Each book of this series I read I don't think the next one can be better. WRONG, this story is now my favorite in the series. It's a grand love story, with great characters; filled first with deep friendship, then unrequited and forbidden love, suddenly understanding you love someone you can never have. All of this leads to heck with the rules, undeniable passion, misunderstandings, and horrible tragedy and deaths. Who, What, How? Well sorry but I try not to write spoilers so that's all I'm saying. You will not be disappointed for this is a wonderful love story told among the backdrop of supernatural beings and humans that live in this town of glorious stories, Sanctuary, TX. Did I mention I LOVE this story, well I LOVE this story, heck I love the whole series?

Book 7 - This is the last book in the authors' Sanctuary, Texas series, and oh what an ending it is. The paranormal citizens that live in Sanctuary have been fighting for years to get back home to the Veil, the original home of paranormals. In this story, we meet a new half-breed paranormal, Godric, who is on a quest to save his niece, who he has been told his in this town. Upon his arrival, he runs into the towns Siren, Calliope, and almost immediately knows that she is his mate. You need to read this story to find out why, even though they both want each other, they cannot mate without causing the death of one of them. We discover things concerning Calliope that she has kept secret. I don't do spoilers, just know that this ending book is jam-packed with excitement, surprises, sorrow, and deaths, but keep hopes high for those that remain will find their happiness. I recommend the entire series, to all those who love reading paranormal filled with excitement, surprises, hate, madness, and love.

My Viking Vampire by Krystal Shannan – This one started a little weird. Maybe it’s because Bailey is living in a post-apocalyptic kind of world and everyone really is out to get her! But there is some really cool world building here! Happy Reading!

Pretty sure I missed things, but I’m in this for the good guys to get their HEAs! Eira should have made Killian do more groveling, but this is a dystopian fantasy that has hooks in you. I keep holding out for the key players to get their HEA even though the body count is horrifyingly high! Happy Reading!

Sanctuary, TX is a refuge for "others" in the Texas Republic, one of the only regions left in the former United States that's tolerant of supernatural beings. Ever since wolf shifters were outed, instigating the L.A. riots decades before, life in America has devolved, especially for women (the rest of the world has basically proceeded as normal).

The series kicks off with 20-something Bailey going on the run once again after her former abuser tracks her down. On the way to the bus station, she catches the eye of a djinn, a creature that even other supernaturals view as a threat. She's saved in the nick of time by Erick Thorson, a vampire from the viking era. He brings her to Sanctuary and helps her get back on her feet.

Bailey's start of a new life serves to introduce the reader to a whole host of unique beings (e.g., pixies, dragon shifters, a siren, and more). Some of what's considered traditional, like vampires being allergic to the sun, is turned on its head and tons of new powers are added to the mix. Although the first book is told almost entirely from Bailey's point of view, the rest of the series switches regularly between the main characters of that particular story.

The relationship dynamics vary from book to book, so there's sure to be something that interests everyone. There are dom/sub elements to be aware of depending on whether or not that's your thing.

This book contains all the books in the "Sanctuary , Texas Series". The time is seventy odd years in the future, and the setting is North America, but not as we know it today. Vampires, shifters fairies and among other supernatural creatures have been exposed to the world causing a dramatic shift in power in America. Instead of many states there are only three. Two of the states shoot the "Others," on sight but in the Texas Republic the others are free to live among the inhabitants. There is a small town called Sanctuary, where only supernaturals live. It was established to protect the last females of a dying race hunted by an evil male of that race intent on becoming ruler of Earth and the "Veil" from where all the supernaturals once lived.
The author had my admiration for writing a series that in my mind compares favorable with "The Game of Thrones." I found that having read the first book in the series I quickly started the second and so on, until I read the final book of the series. The characters became my friends and their enemies became my enemies as I read this amazing series. There are very few series that I like to re-read again, and this collection will join that number.!

Wow!!! What an absolutely amazing series to read and thoroughly enjoy from start to finish. This box set contains books 1 through to 7 which tells the story from where it starts off in a world where paranormal species have been exposed and are unwelcome, to the epilogues in the final book. The characters are all interesting and personalities are varied. By the end you feel as if you know each and every member of this town as if it’s your own. Their friendship, love, camaraderie, bravery and spirit speaks volumes throughout each book. With vampires, wolves, dragons, pixies, sirens, gryphons and so much more. Who’d ever thought that Brownies baked the most amazing brownies ;-) The good shines through, the evil mastermind is a vile psychopath and the loss that inevitably comes through war and sacrifice is heartbreaking. You definitely need tissues to read this series. But overall an amazing reading experience.
(I’d highly recommend reading all seven of the books in order if you don’t yet have the full series).

The complete series of a town called Sanctuary located in Texas. Paranormals have come out to the mortals however, they are not readily accepted. Sanctuary is one of the few places they don't have to worry. Set in this town, we are introduced to a wide variety of paranormal beings and the struggles they have all faced. Each story is about different paranormals in this town however, they characters cross over in each book. They may all be different , but they have become a family and family looks out for each other. Ms. Shannon has a way of drawing you in and making the characters jump off the page. Each character is well defined making you feel as if you have know them for a long time. The storylines are easy to follow, the story it self is easy to read and you will definitely be glad that the next book is just a turn of the page away. I was captivated by the first story and couldn't wait to see what came next. I was not disappointed and enjoyed reading about this amazing town and its residents. If you have not started this series , you are missing out. I would recommend you pick it up as fast as you can and get lost in this interesting town.

Terrific Supernatural Box Set OVER18 READING

You start by learning about the town of Sanctuary where all kinds of supernaturals live and some are older and more powerful than you would ever think.
As you follow their stories you see that everyone can and does make mistakes but it's what you do next that really counts because no matter how bad it is you can redeem yourself.
In one book you start with a group and as you read the other seven books new and old people come into play with the final book having a very surprising ending.
I don't know if there will be more books about these wonderful people but I hope there will be because I would love to see what happens next to the ones returning to Sanctuary and the ones going back to the Veil where they came from centuries before but also the ones who spread out to new places right on earth.
This is a set if you like any kind of supernaturals books you will love and so much better when reading it as a set. I love the individual books of this set that I had read but really loved getting to read them all at once and in order.

Woww fantastic

I enjoyed every story on these pages. What a fantastic journey it was to take with each character, as they found love and happiness with their loved ones. That dang on xerxes was a pain in my behind. I was looking forward to Rose staying alive and saving everyone but sad to see her die along with Eli. Now Naram boy I tell you, I felt bad for him at first but as he was rescued and was getting his health back and how he was talking and treating the same ones that helped him. Was like a slap in the face. He purposely wanted the rest of the people in the lower level of the castle to die. How sick is that. Sad to see that everyone that they thought died like manda and Jared, they family and friends never saw them reborn from the ashes. Hopefully in the book about Diana kids , we get a glimpse that they all are reunited.

WOW what a story! The author takes you on a ride with these characters and town and I love that you get the whole thing in the set, no waiting for the next book or having to download them. Everyone in town, and then some, have a part to play to get the bad guy and everyone is important in their own way. You get heat, suspense, family and friendship, shifters, vamps, and different magical types. There's the bad guys and those who end up just along for the ride. There's something for everyone and oh so worth the read! If I have to say anything it's that I thought the ending was to quick, I thought there'd be more a lead into it. I hope there's more on a couple of the characters, maybe one the epilogues was a hint...

Each of the stories are individual but have their place in the overall frame work of the Sanctuary, Texas Universe. The stories involve strong sexy paranormal males who are willing to do what ever it takes to get the creature their hearts desire and to protect and defend that goal with all their abilities. The romances have various combinations and are steamy hot story lines so give yourselves the time to enjoy to the fullest. Relax and let the stories flow around your imagination to get the full effect.

This box set is a PNR read and it is packed into one box set! It tell you I gobbled this set! Once you start it you will have a hard time putting it down. It is filled, a multitude of characters that you feel by the end you come to know and trust these characters. It is one of the few PNR books that not only tell a story but drag you through it at the same time. It is visual as well as thoughtful. It will take you on different journeys the likes of which will have you laughing and wanting to never escape! I love Sanctuary, TX! Such a great box set not one that you want to miss!

Absolutely, excitingly fantastic collection! The author presents all sorts of paranormal cultures and they are just as crazy as humans but with a twist. The citizens and visitors are good matches. There heros and sheros are delightful. The bad guys are absolutely evil.They storylines creates paths that provide thrills and spills that entertain, enthrall and engage. Excellent character building and great friendships. Do the s/heros succeed in their quests? Does Karma catch up with the bad guys? I didn't want the stories to end. Nicely done! This was an intense series. It is filled with so many magical beings. Sanctuary, Texas really is that for them. The world has changed and humans have only themselves to blame. The world is pretty bad and the humans have to have someone to blame and attack. So anything magical is hunted. But there is one being who is worse than all humanity and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Evil doesn’t even to begin to describe him. But Sanctuary is the only chance anyone has. The story will make you laugh and cry. There will be love and death. There will be happiness and pain. So welcome to a crazy ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This is great series that really takes us on a reading thrill ride. So many unexpected twists and attractive characters to feel totally invested in. The world building definitely had a dark bend to it and the bad guys were 'really' bad... They are also emotional stories, full of action, drama, magic, sorrow, death and, of course, love. Expect to stay up late when you crack this one open ;) I received an arc of this set but have purchased some of the stories individually. I love that they're in a set like this for binge reading.

This paranormal romance box set of seven all occur around people there and each can be read as a stand-alone or fully enjoy it by reading them all. There are some triggers, especially in the one book, but all of the stories are interesting. The characters created this awesome read and you shouldn’t miss it. Good read!

Survival

This takes place in the future where the world learns that the mystical creatures are actually real. The US splits into regions and most won’t let what the call others live there, except the region call a Texas Republic. Rose sets up a base in Santuary in the Texas Republic. She is trying to find a way to open a portal back to the home in the Veil. We have Vampires, Dragons, Witches, Lycans, Gryphon, Phoenix, and Lamassu working together. They fight another Lamassu bent on ruling both worlds. Come join the fight and watch the love that grows along the way.

I've finished all 7 books and I'm so pleased they had a actual ending. The storyline was perfect. The characters amazing, and I laughed and cried through it all. The deaths of some of my favorite characters left me shattered and heartbroken. I'm sorry they get the HEA I felt they deserved 😪. Even though my head agrees with the way the storyline processed. Ms. Shannon did a excellent job of world building, and I can't wait to start some of the other books written by her. So...until next. Happy Reading!

I thought this was a super enjoyable box set of this PNR series. I loved that with one single click you can get all seven books at once. I liked the town, characters and overall story elements that connects all these books together. I thought that there was a good amount of variety here. Vampires, witches, shifters and more take featured roles in theses reads. The storylines offer danger, excitement, action, steam, BDSM and lots of emotion. This is my candid, volitional review.

I'm torn

As a whole, I enjoyed this series. However, the last 2 books were not my favorite. The amount of death was hard to absorb and those that died, I literally screamed, "what was she thinking". The last book felt very rushed with all the different story lines. I felt cheated out of several HEA due to the deaths and felt like the author was just tired of the series so she jammed the last book with several epilogues of our favorite characters.

Each story in this series is thrilling and filled with excitement and love one even involving a human destined to be a protector of Sanctuary. A fantastic series arc!
The author has created an amazing world beginning with the alternative fall of Babylon at the betrayal of the series villain. A millennium hence, and the paranormal creatures trapped on this side of the veil are still fighting the good fight and struggling to survive. These seven stories speak to the coming together of several species in one town where hope blossoms and fate continues to unite those who are meant to be together against all odds.

This was a very good collection of paranormal books that each had different storylines so as a reader, I never felt like any of them were repetitive at all. If you are new to the paranormal genre this is a good collection to start with to see if you would like the genre since Ms. Shannon has a good diversity of stories included to sample from!

Amazing

Hasidic books it's absolutely amazing I couldn't put it down I read the whole thing in about 4 days it's moving it made me cry it made me laugh and it made me want to fight with them it's a joke I would recommend to anyone read it once you get started you can't stop and define left all the characters and I'm so excited to hear the stories in the lives you just get immersed and what's going on in sanctuary Texas and love everyone in it

This was hard to finish. Too technical at times with so much backdrop and description. Slowed the pace too much. I didn’t find any of the characters likable, with most coming off as uppity and/or boring. Tried too hard at times with its emphasis on all
Things BDSM. Why did that have to be the main theme in all these titles? Why do people think this has to be the ruling factor is all the relationships? Wasn’t comfortable with this series.

Loved each individual Story, They come together so easily, I love being able to see earlier characters through the series. Very well written stories, Strong character, You will love each of them for one reason or another. Out of all the books the last one left me sad and upset, but to get to that part, the journey was amazing. You really should read each and everyone, you will be amazed at how real it feels. Loved them and will read them again.

I love this Series! I have really enjoyed how this author was able to bring these characters to life!
Each book in this Series concentrated on each couple, but also entwined all the other characters together as well.
This futuristic paranormal gathering is an exciting collection of stories.
Through the laughter and the tears, their stories bring them to life.
I truly recommend this Series to anyone who loves Fantasy and Paranormal.
