A friend recommended this book and although I am not a big fan of sci-fi, outer space types of books, I found Kenneth Ward's story intriguing. The mixture of the future with the American past, with a focus on the early days of the wild west and the Indians whose lives were so changed by the settlers. A wonderful cast of characters are written about with explorations into friendship, hardship and endurance. Recommend this one.
