I listened to this series via audiobook. It is a good pastime series for playing while getting stuff done, but not a repeater for me. I will say that the author does do a great job setting up plots and characters, but her endings are lacking. The third book did have a much better ending, but not as intricate of a plot as the first two. Overall, if you enjoy this genre, you will probably enjoy the series.

The Cornwall Novels: The Governess of Penwythe Hall, the Thief of Lanwyn Manor, the Light at Wyndcliff by Sarah E Ladd– This series is part mystery and part romance, but all of them were sweet and sad! Happy Reading!

Thief of Lanwyn Manor - Snooze fest. The only reason it got a 3 was the plot line had potential.
