I adore Meyoco’s art so damn much. This book has a great selection of her work, separated into buckets like “Celestial”, “Fashion”, and “Game”. The first 80% focuses on digital art, while the last section is purely watercolor that’s printed on slightly rougher type of paper which matches the medium perfectly. She has written little blurbs throughout that give a nice glimpse into her background, thought process, and preferences. Her style may seem simple at first glance, but she really has such a way with colors and shapes...it’s so aesthetically pleasing. Looking at these certainly sparks joy!

I first discovered Meyoco’s art in Tumblr but posted by other people then saw it on Pinterest. I've always loved the art coz it's really beautiful and mesmerising. I never owned any art books but this is the first time I thought of getting one.

I expected that this book would be something that I wouldn't even count as a book I "read" and that it would go very quickly. However it is impossible to go through this book without taking ample amounts of time. Every single picture is stunning, calming, and holds place for nostalgia while still maintaining very modern aspects of millennial driven art. I loved reading Meyoco's notes on what what she creates, her style, her eventual love of pink (as I resonated very much with this message and I believe a lot of people do as well), and the unexpected opportunity to see so many of her watercolors at the end. This book was wonderful and I will cherish it for as long as it is in my possession. A great coffee table book or book for any inspiring artist.

Polaris is a collection of Meyoco's various digital and watercolor pieces from over the years; her art is accompanied by small text blurbs giving insight into her inspiration and process as well as her personality.

As always, Meyoco's art is beautiful. I've always felt an unexplainable sense of comfort and nostalgia from her style, so I was excited to read this compilation of her work. Her watercolor pieces are printed on what feels like cold-press watercolor paper, which is a really nice touch.

Like how Meyoco said in the second to the last sentence to close this book, Polaris is meant to make its reader relax and left inspired. Personally, every page is immersive on her creative process and progress. I didn’t know she also did watercolor prior and that left me in awe even more. It’s just a beautiful, vibrant experience as you turn each page. You just have to breathe in all the wonderful artworks. I hope she continues to make more art and eventually publish another one.

If you have a digital copy, it will not do justice. You need to get a physical copy STAT!

I didn’t read anything about this, so I thought this was going to be a graphic novel about a girl in space who changed the universe with her art. Little did I know that it was filled with stunning artwork accompanied with some written about the author’s artwork from time to time. Sometimes the writing seemed worded weirdly or repetitive, but that’s probably because this is translated. Still, I loved looking at the beautiful masterpieces.

Beautiful. I enjoyed looking through this artbook a lot. The flowers and celestial bodies blended together effortlessly to create soft, princessy vibe art. Most pages would make fantastic phones cases or wallpapers. I loved the variety in skin tones and shapes but I wish there were some characters without button noses and tiny waists.

As much as I hate Alfons Mucha and the whole Art Nouveau stlye, I absolutely loved the style Meyoco, especially the watercolor section. Cozy aesthetics that draws inspiration from fairytales, games and nature combines the relatabity of Sailor Moon and detailedness of Moebius. Meyoco belongs to one of my favourite artists whom I follow for simple but unique illustrations.

Not the kind of thing I usually sit down and read, but I was charmed by the artwork and it was easy to page through and lose yourself in it. Meyoco's art is dreamy, feminine, and appealing. I especially loved the watercolor at the end - the physical medium adds depth and several of the watercolor pieces used color palette we see less frequently from her digital art. A gorgeous collection.

Gorgeous (but then I’ve always loved Meyoco’s work). My only complaint is that the text in this book - sparse as it is - is very tiny and not very readable. I would have absolutely loved a little bit more contrast on that, but it’s worth it to just have a physical copy of her work.

Tnie book is a little masterpiece. I am big fan of the Meyoco’s art since I’ve discovered it on Pinterest. Someday I finally decided to buy the book. I love it, it’s the most beautiful book I’ve ever bought, the artworks look even better on the paper than online.

Meyoco is a very inspiring artist with an anime/manga-like style. This book is filled with many of her illustrations, and some small insights into why she designs some pieces the way she did. The quality of the book is really nice, as well. The pages featuring her watercolor works have a different texture to them that's reminiscent of watercolor paper, while the rest of the book is high quality and smooth for the digital pieces.
