Incredibly enlightening for someone who hasn’t been around many (or any) people with chronic illness, a wonderful reminder to treat people with kindness and not to judge someone by outward appearance.

It is so special to get to learn even more about a close friend through their intimate and thoughtful writing. I am so glad I read this, and I learned a lot not just about Olivia but about the nuances of living with a disability. Very accessible and important!

I could not put this book down!
I loved hearing Olivia’s story. She reminds us that we have no idea what someone is going through. She also highlights our priorities as a society while inspiring us to make necessary changes. Sobering to say the least! Thank you for sharing Olivia! I can’t wait to read more from you.

A personal and compelling call to action

This book has a way of educating and pulling at your heart strings while simultaneously adding in bits of humor. This book provides much needed awareness to battles that so many people face on a daily basis. Lean in, read, reflect, and enjoy!
