A great place to start for people who are wondering how to bring the the insights of black theology into their churches. As you'd expect from Reddie, this book is erudite, readable and practical.
Prof Reddie uses this book, clear, if not his opus at least his manifesto, to present a practical Black theology. It is well written, concise with wording, thoughtful, and challenging. Being a Black man I loved it and feel Reddie needs to get his mainstream flowers by now.
Brilliant, powerful and thought provoking. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone interested in this area of study and what its practical implications are.
